I usually wear a medium in sweaters but ordered this in a Large because I wanted it to be roomy. I tried it on and loved the length - the sweater hit me right below the hips. It wasn't as roomy in the size large as I was expecting. However, the quality of this sweater is really nice, I was very impressed by how well it was made. It's a heavy sweater but not too heavy, has a nice weave and basically would compliment most blues, browns, greys, and blacks. But it was itchy, wearing a long sleeve shirt under it would be necessary for me. I ended up returning it, but it was a difficult decision to do this!
