Fantastic pair of shoes! I was looking for something in a low, black boot that was understated, classy, and well made for everyday wear at work and 'steppin out'. The Broyd Mid fits the bill perfectly and I would call this shoe an instant classic. I will say that I originally ordered a US size 12 and they felt a bit too large, with my foot sliding around a bit, so I exchanged them for an 11 1/2, which fit perfectly. These shoes are very comfortable from the get-go. Not a large amount of cushioning but I think they should be adequate--I may add some additional support. The soles seem sturdy and I fully expect this pair to last a good while. I'm planning on taking these on a work/pleasure trip to the UK next month and these will be perfect for everything. Now I'm considering buying a second pair so I'll have them for years!

These are great for the office. Casual enough for jeans but still gives you a professional look. Order a half size smaller though.
