I really wanted these shoes to work! They are simply too narrow and tight across the top of my foot. The minute I stood up, the pain was really bad. I’m so disappointed!! I own several pair of Naot shoes. Perhaps they should consider adding wider width for this one. Returning soon.

I wanted to love these shoes. The style is super cute, the foot part of the shoe is perfect for my flat narrow feet, but the part around the ankle is SOOO uncomfortable. I wanted a pair of shoes that could be worn with cropped or ankle pants and casual dresses for a trip to Portugal. These would give me blisters above the ankle. The materials is so stiff and scratchy. Back to searching for the right shoe.

These were WAY too big which was so disappointing. If you have a larger ankle, they may work for you. They had great arch support. Definitely for a wider foot. I had to return but loved the look.

There seems to be inconsistent size and color with this style shoe. Bought Black in 40 even though I am 8.25 - 8.50 they fit perfectly, feel wonderful on my feet, and are very well made. I did read in reviews that the black runs small. The Brown Lizard has many problems: It's too wide and when I lace them I still can't get them tight enough on my ankle for the support I need. It's also too long by about 1/4 inch and I feel I will be tripping on the tips when walking. Additionally, one of the shoelace ends wrapped in plastic has been smashed flat instead of round like the others. A minor point, but for this price, shoes s/b flawless. Color as described and shown in pics looked like a brown darkish mushroom with purple overtones. Shoe I received is a dark taupe. And, the leather is very stiff, unlike the black, which is soft and supple. Also noted, I tried the Grey in a 39, and they were much too small in length and cut into my big toe. Sending back and may not waste my time trying to find another color that fits. :-(

Disappointed. Excellently made shoe. Unfortunately top edge of shoe caused pain in top of my foot when walking. Also not enough padding under toes/ball of foot. I could feel the concrete under my toes! For such an expensive and well made shoe, seems strange they would skimp on the front portion padding. Sending back.

Very cute, and wanted to love these, but the toe box was totally wrong for the shape of my foot.

I wanted to like these shoes because they got great reviews. First of all, I ordered a 42 when my normal size is 41. The length was fine. Secondly, I found the footbed stiff. And finally the shoe came up far too high on my ankle making walking across the room uncomfortable. I have flat feet that are medium width. Wishing they had worked.

I have the Naot Arataki, which is also in the Koru foot bed. I love those and wore them often last summer. They fit my narrow heels but have a nice wide toe box, which I need for Hallux Limitus. The Kata is super cute and I wish I could wear them, but for me, they were very uncomfortable at the inner ankle. All the materials are soft and high quality, but the ankle strap hits on my ankle bone and hurts with every step. I do have skinny feet with bony ankles, so maybe I just can't wear shoes with ankle straps.

everything was super - walked and stood much of 8 hours on a cement floor and no foot pain HOWEVER this shoe began to squeak after a couple of times wearing them and so did the same shoe in the light beige - sad sad sad

One shoe has discoloration on the toe.Returning.

I love Naot shoes for the fit and support. However, this pair was two different shades of brown. I asked my husband what he thought of my new shoes and he said they were too different colors.

Had to return the shoes. Ordered a US 7, my normal size, but the manufacturers sizing is wrong. Reordered the shoe in a US 6 which fit correctly. Original purchase was on sale at around $145 but paid around $185 to replace with the correct size. Not happy. Zappos did not provide accurate sizing which cost me $40. They should have honored the sale price.

I purchased the gray color in size 38. The right shoe fit like a glove and was very comfortable. However, the left shoe was too short and too narrow. It felt a full size smaller. I regret having to return them because I love the style. Seems to be a quality control issue. I love Zappos for ordering and making returns??

I almost kept these beige shoes. They were so comfortable... at first. I wore them around the house for about 30 minutes intending to wear them out for the day, but as time went on I felt the outer front corner digging into my foot. My skin was developing a red indent in that spot and I knew it would become a blister if I kept wearing them. I took them off and am returning them. I had bought them in black as well, but I'm sending those back too. I'm really sad about these. It's impossible to find comfortable shoes with arch support for my small (size 4.5) wide-ish feet.

I thought the fit would be like Matai. It was not like Matai at all. The band near the front rubbed and after a couple of hours pinched my little toes. The cut in the toe box was not shaped like feet are but evenly rounded. I should have returned them but the pain was evident only after a couple of hours of wear.
