Fit and sizing was fantastic. I put them on and straight out of the box they had the feel of a pair of broken in shoes. I took them on a trip where I walked approximately 5-10 miles a day for two weeks straight in mostly urban environments, but also some crushed limestone type trails and they were just as great. It's something akin to wearing anti-fatigue mats on your feet.
Prior reviews mention the stiff heel and that is literally the main sore point with these. It was more of a pressure point than a chafing point because of the stiffness and it just never seemed to soften up. Probably working the leather at that point by hand would relax it a bit, but who knows. Also, because of the knit material, it picked up sidewalk and trail dust really easily and I'm not certain how I'd clean that up. This is ok because I'm using it for this purpose, but they definitely gave off a shabbier vibe because of that.

I absolutely love the color and design of these shoes.
They are very comfortable upfront. True to timberland sizes they are one full size bigger than the average shoe. (I am size 11.5 in everything else, but 10.5 in all timberlands I've ever bought)
The biggest problem I have with these shoes is that I feel the heel cap/tab and back stay (rear part of the shoe) are way too high and really dig into the back ankle when walking.
This of course varies how your feet are shaped, but I highly recommend trying these on in person before buying.
If the rear part of the shoe was just a bit lower, it would be most definitely be perfect in my opinion. Like I said the mesh up front is comfortable and they are a great looking pair of shoes with a great deal of quality built into them for such a price.

I think that it's a little narrow. Not uncomfortable but the flexibility of the upper material starts to show your foot shape (bumpy) instead of the classic oxford.

Its nice and comfortable. I bought US 8.5 size. But its feels like 9.5. I never bought timberland before. Always nike 9 size and its true size for me. But timberland 8.5 too big for me. I attached 8.5 timberland and 9 nike. you can see difference between big and small

I Bought these from a Timberland retail store while travelling in the UAE. At first i was blown away with how comfortable they were, until i was cleaning them. The outter toe area where the baby toe sits on the left shoe is starting to tear open from the sole itself and i just bought them 12 days ago. Within the next few days of wearing they will be garbage. Highly disappointed.
