Great for traveling. One pair of pants for cool and hot weather while keeping valuables like documents and cash in zippered pockets.

I have worn these pants hundreds of miles in the past and needed another pair to take on a trip. The North Face pants have a thicker and tougher fabric than other hiking pants. Zip off legs give great versatility for backpacking or travel.

I purchased them primarily to travel in, especially to warm climates - I have now purchased a second pair & I am considering a third, but don't tell my wife. She thinks I am North Face fanatic ...Lonnie

Really great hiking pants. I am a bigger guy (6'5", 265 lbs) and I always struggle to find pants that fit well. These fit perfect and are relaxed enough to allow for easy movement. I definitely recommend!

My wife bought my first pair for Christmas and I loved them. This pair I purchased because they are the best convertible pants I've owned.

This is the third pair of these pants I've owned. The first two each lasted about 12-15 years, through probably hundreds of hikes and a combined 100k miles of traveling. Excellent quality.

These pants are amazing for pet grooming! This is the second pair I've bought and will definitely buy again. I wash dogs all day long, the pants are definitely water resistant!! And they are loose and breathable!! The last pair lasted me a year with dog grooming 5 days a week for the entire year, all the pet hair, scratches, washes, and getting wet, soapy, rinsed and dried and average of 3 times a day. The only reason I got rid of the old ones was the color had faded so I have them to my mom for farm work. Super worth the money!

I've been using it to go to the mountains, hiking, camping, etc. It's been very good for those uses. The fact that you can deattach the lower section is very helpful.

I have taken this pant all over the world. I have summited Kilimanjaro, trekked the Everest base camp and hiked all over New Zealand with them. I wore them nearly everyday. They are conferable and durable. Great pants.

I'm a 50-year-old who has been nothing but a t-shirt and jeans type of guy all of his life ...until I tried these on. They are comfortable and they look GREAT. I know they won't be making these pants forever, but I liked them so much, that I purchased nearly $1000 worth of these pants to last me for many years to come. The only problem I have is that although they just barely touch the floor when standing up, they become a bit more of a flood pants when I sit down, compared to my jeans ...especially in my car for some reason. I hate it when pant legs ride up on me, but it's not so bad that I can't live with it.

I did not pick these up for hiking, but rather around the house and casual wear. Perfect for a work from home person who wants to be in more than sweat pants, but no need for jeans. Pockets are spacious and convenient.

Great Hiking pants that have a relaxed fit and protect you from the wind and rain. Can't wait to wear on my upcoming vacation to Alaska.

These pants were a dream. I didn't think it was possible to get pants to fir my Extra Long 6' 6" frame. These were brilliantly. Camping in the Australian Kimberley region is harsh, and these pant handled the tough scrub and dust with ease. They were comfortable and allowed enough movement to allow me to change inside the tent! I can not recommend them highly enough. The only thing to realistically consider is the coulor and what dust I should in the area you are walking in. You will have these as your 'go to' hing pants. Brilliant design.

This is the third pair of these pants I have purchased. I have owned other "convertible" trail pants, but these are my favorite. The material they are made from is thick (without being uncomfortable) and very durable. Because of the better quality material they are look better on than cheaper pairs. They are great pants/shorts for summer and fall. Only thing to keep in mind is that I am usually a large, but wear a medium in these pants.

Love these pants! Bought these for my boyfriend and he loves them! We have bought these types of pants from other companies before but these are by far a lot better! Stitching is great and love the zipper pockets so you don't have to worry about losing items in there!

This product was truly one of the best purchases because of its multi purpose use. The material is perfect for casual or intense hiking. It allows your body to breathe while protecting it at the same time. The colors offered are nice as well.

My son wears them to church and after he zips off the legs to do what ever. So, he does not have to care extra shorts for after church. The price is a little high for my budget but he gets a lot of wear out of them.
