Love these sandals, very nice thick padded insoles and also very stylish. Like the Born Tomar sandels also these do make loud air expelling noises as the foot steps down on the thick padded insoles during walking. Like the comfort of these so i keep them, i do ignore the loud noise they make so i keep them.

These are super comfortable except that the toe strap is so tight my toes are literally turning purple and falling asleep. But the footbed is so comfy and the straps are so soft I might end up keeping them anyway and just getting the toe strap stretched. I'm normally a 6.5 and the 7 is the right size except for that one strap. My only other complaint is that the sole is super slippery--I'd definitely add some kind of gripper pad before wearing them on any kind of smooth floor. I've been sliding around on my wooden and tile floors trying them out around the house and have had a few close calls.

Most comfortable heels I've ever worn EVER. I bought two after a trip to Spain where I walked all day over Barcelona and hardly felt a thing. I LOVE these shoes

These are super comfortable for having heels. The insole is padded. Fits true to size. I love them!

Got in black. This shoe is even more soft and comfortable than other Borns I have. I read reviews that it ran small and tight at toe strap so ordered a 9 even though I have always been an 8 in Born. Had to return and get the 8. Fits same as all other Born heels I have. No issues with tight toe strap or slipping pinky toe.

perfection in every regard, except the whistling heel. With each step. tried to ignore the whooshing sound to no avail. darn.

I love the shoes, however, every time I walk it sounds like I'm deflating a balloon. The pressure on the sole exerts air and makes this swooshing noise with every step. Kind of annoying, but the comfort surpasses my feelings towards the sound. I would definitely recommend these shoes to everyone.

Loved these easy to wear shoes!!!!! Comfortable and styish.

Overall I am happy with the fit and comfort of the shoe. My only concern is the bottom of the shoe is slippery on solid surfaces, like tile and wood.

Love these - I wanted a heel but not the discomfort that comes with heels; these are perfect. The thicker heel ( sort of a wedge? ) makes me feel more sturdy in the shoe yet they are cute and sexy to wear. Thanks Born - you make great shoes!!

Nice style sandal and very comfortable; but be aware the the color is a total misrepresentation in both photos and the word "brown" -- the shoe is a flesh-toned beige, not the lovely warm saddle-brown in the photos. I returned them.

They run a bit small. I wear size 11 in other Born sandals but my toes were almost over the edge in these. The leather was thinner than I expected for full grain, but still sturdy. They feel light considering the size of the platform and heel. I didn't have the "swoosh" sound from the footbed when I walked heel-to-toe, only if I set my foot straight down. If they hadn't been too short then I would've kept them, but they are being returned.

Super cute & comfy shoe, my only complaint is the squishy sound one of them makes when I walk, but that's a small price to pay in exchange for all day comfort ð???ð??¼

I really like these sandals. Wore them all day at work and they are very uncomfortable.

I wanted to love these! I love this brand and all the shoes I own from them. They are very comfortable and fit my small, wide foot perfectly. This pair, however, didn't work as well. They seem super comfortable, and I really like the look of them, but my little toe is just too short, and it slips out from under the strap and hangs over the side of the shoe. I need a different type of strap to hold my toes in. If you have longer toes, these should fit just fine. But if you have teeny tiny toes like I do, you might find that the straps don't hold all of your tiny toes in. ;p

Comfortable shoe bed, great arch support, nice looking heel with good stability. Front straps can be a little tight across top of foot.

Wore these for the first time today and I was really surprised at how comfy they are. I was a little concerned with the height but no problems and they really hug my foot with no sore spots anywhere. Wore them to church and then out to breakfast and then around the house...didn't feel like I needed or wanted to take them off which is normally what I do with any other heal. The bottoms are slippery on some surfaces...restaurant floor was slick?!?. Concrete, asphalt, hardwood and tile at my house was fine.

These sandals are extremely comfortable and fit perfectly. Unfortunately, the noise the foot-bed makes when you take a step is too loud and a deal breaker. With disappointment I returned them.

Beautiful looking shoe, great heel height but the swooshing sound is too much for me. They are very slick in the bottom especially on wood or tile floors. The ankle strap was uncomfortable for me. Love the Born brand though.

Not comfortable near my big toe. I bought a size eight and I truly wear an 8 1/2. that might be the problem. I didn't love them

Very cute, but the straps were all stretched out.

Cute looking shoe but not good for my foot. Style caused my toes to slide through the straps.

I keep buying Born shoes and I keep sending them back. I guess I'm in perpetual hope the quality will return to what I remember 10 years ago. This is another pair going back because they run small in size and have thin insubstantial leather.
