Zipper separated towards the bottom the first time I wore it. I re zipped it and it was fine. I just hope it was a fluke and doesn’t keep happening.

The zipper keeps breaking and it fits a little big.

Pros. 1. Stylish. 2. Prevents storm/rain water intrusion, will keep you dry. 3. Nice pockets. 4. Durable for a period of time. Cons. 1. Had this for three years. Around the third year, the inner lining shreds like small dots. Can’t use it anymore. 2. When hood is tucked, the neck is bulky. 3. Product is not breathable, so you will sweat on a humid rainy day.

I'll be returning. I thought it was more of an actual jacket , but it's a windbreaker.

Very light good for hikes

I wanted to buy the Resolve 2. The label stated clearly it was a North Face Resolve 2 jacket. I liked it had space for my growing beer belly. Everything felt right, done with proper material but strangely the collar was too thick more appropriate for a winter jacket. I was hoping for a wind and rain proof jacket to use it everywhere in spring summer and fall. A sweaty neck shouldn't be part of the deal.

This seems like it would have been a decent rain jacket. I just couldn't get by the awkward felt collar. When the collar is not zipped all the way up it looks like the jacket has large lapels.

This jacket looks great, fits great, but unfortunately, it is not good in rain because the sleeves aren't waterproof. I am still searching for a truly waterproof rain jacket.

Ordered a mens and womens Resolve jacket for a trip. The fit and hood were perfect for her, I felt like I got an older model or something. When it rains, I need the hood, and I need to see - the hood doesn't work for me at all.

The zipper keeps getting stuck in a position where the jacket is essentially useless. I've sent multiple jackets back for repair, and 12months later, i still have a jacket in which you cannot open the zipper.

When it rains or for hiking

I was not impressed with this rain jacket at all, it runs big, kinda hangs on you like a cheap suit! Went with another NF jacket the Mens North Face Active Stretch Rain Shell much better fit & finish!

Not what I wanted at all!

I got it a month ago and wore it today on heavy rain for the first time and I still got wet.my wife wore duplicate north face jacket which cost only 15$ and she was better protected than I was.

Highly disappointed with TNF, I paid full price online only to find it days later for 40% off at TNF outlet store in Sunbury, Ohio! DO NOT pay full price for this item.

Don't buy this jacket if you plan for casual use. The neck part is the dumbest addition I have ever seen. It's massive and the only way to wear this out is to either tuck it in or have two massive collars. Makes no sense why they would add this. Get an older version.

While not really breathable, I would normally not hesitate to recommend this jacket for function and style - EXCEPT the hood has NO adjustment in the back, causing the front edge of the hood to constantly fall over your eyes. The wearer is then forced to CONSTANTLY pull the hood out of your eyes while trying to walk. Customer service had no suggestions. I have other North Face clothes and shoes that I love, but this jacket is a dud and North Face customers should expect and deserve better.......

There are no draw strings on the back of the hood to pull the hood back. Its surprising that north face would cut corners or poorly design a rain jacket to not put a draw string on the back of the hood on a rain jacket. Its raining, you put the hood on and you cant see anything on the sides because the hood covers your vision and there are no strings on the back to pull the hood back. The outcome you would be run over by a car wearing tnf rain jacket. Totally disappointed. I have plucked the tags and worn it once so cant return it.

On the new model the collar comes up like 8 inches, making it impractical and purely annoying.

Jacket is huge. Doesnt fit at all like shown in the images. Very disappointed...I really wanted to like this jacket.
