Hope manufacturer will be reading this. Great concept & design BUT poor quality control / workmanship. Adhesive holding the fabric & silicone material together began to fail only after a few months of use--this happened to both shoes we bought: 9.5 (men) and 6.5 (women).

Love the style! A little narrow. Good walking shoes vs standing shoes. When I am standing a lot I need to change out of these shoes half way through the day. But love the look and very light.

I adore these shoes, however, they are designed for style over utilization. I have a number of issues with my feet such as plantar fasciitis and tendonosis and my feet are truly happy in these shoes. I literally feel like I am propelled when I walk and the stability of the shoe is fantastic. However, after less than 4 months of 8-10 mile walks 3-4x/week, the shoes are falling apart. The rubber edging is pulling away from the fabric and the fabric is so thin, it is ripping over where my toe knuckles. If only they would spend more money on the quality of the materials and less on the marketing hype, they would have a truly fantastic shoe. If you love these shoes like I do, be prepared to buy several pair so you can replace when they fall apart. That requires a lot of love at this price point.

As much as I wanted to like these shoes, the white fabric above the toe box was paper thin. I could see the joints of my second toe through each shoe. I just don't know how long that thin fabric would hold up.

Really liked the color and fit of this shoe. I know for running shoes, it should be all about the fit, and not the loos, but I just can't completely get on board with that. This is a great orange! Love the looks of this shoe. It felt true to size. For reference, I bought this in a 9.5, and usually wear a 9.5 Nike and Brooks for running. The only think I wasn't sure about was the cushioning. It felt OK, but when I ran it in for the first time, I could really feel the rubber nodules (not sure what they're really called) on the forefoot of bottom of the shoe. It wasn't exactly uncomfortable, but I wasn't sure it wouldn't be annoying over time.

I've run 25 miles so far on rocky desert back country roads. I got blisters on my heals in the first 10 minutes. I went back to my vehicle and put band aids on my heals. I did this for a couple runs until the shoe softened up a little bit. After 25 miles I do have a complaint about these shoes and I will not be repurchasing them. My toes are not comfortable. There is plenty of padding under the heal and the mid foot, but there is no padding under the toes. If you are a mid foot-forefoot runner your toes are going to feel it. I can't believe they didn't put any pods under the toe area. If you look at the shoe you will see a distinct lack of pods under the toes. You WILL notice this running on rocky ground. I would call this a design flaw in an otherwise decent shoe.

Nice shoes and very comfortable, but ran a little small. The placement of the tread at the back of the shoe is odd and caused me to rock back off the heel. I can see where the shoe base would easily separate from the shoe.

My first ON shoes and it's the first time I am crazy excited over an athletic shoe! I am a fairly new runner and where I run around my neighborhood is primarily on trails (forest, dirt road, gravel). Everything about this shoe is awesome for this terrain! The grip is amazing, the feel (super comfortable), and it's soooo light. This shoe does run small though, so just be aware of that. I had to go a 1/2 size bigger. I am in love with these shoes and officially a new ON fan! I'm planning to buy more On shoes for my workouts and walking in the near future! And Zappos customer service was excellent in helping me to find the right size for this shoe. I originally ordered a size that was too small. And I couldn't decide if I needed to go 1/2 size or full size bigger. The rep I spoke with helped me tremendously!

If On is a shoe brand that works for you, you might love this trail shoe. I have the original On Cloudsurfer in my normal street shoe size, 8, which I bought a couple years ago. It is an amazing shoe; haven't tried later iterations. I needed the Cloudventure Peak in size 9, a full size larger than I usually order, and the largest size I've ever bought in any shoe. First, I ordered size 8.5, and my big toe was pushing against the front of the shoe. I contemplated keeping it, but returned it for size 9. Perfect. Aaaah this shoe feels great. So lightweight. If you go over to runrepeat.com and watch a few short video reviews of this shoe, that's what made me decide to try it. Width seems true Medium, which is my usual width. I could lean towards Wide, but have never had to order Wide in any shoe. I like the sleek, European look of this shoe, but would love to have some classy color choices. (no brights) I bought black on black. I bought it for easy trail running. I'm a senior and wouldn't dream of doing any difficult or heaven forbid technical trail running. I'd be so scared I'd cry. But, I do still enjoy jogging on paths and streets, and bought these in case I move beyond urban trails. I tried several others to fit my needs, but this is tops. Quite minimalist with a sturdy sole. I'd tried La Sportiva Kaptiva, (lovely but maybe arch was a bit aggressive for my low arch), Salomon Supercross (almost kept it but had one hot spot), and I also kept a pair of Salomon Speedcross 5 in case I ever get really brave. (sadly, those are black on black, too, and look like I should be a guy working in a garage) (I'm neither). Give this shoe a try. You might find it to be wonderful Swiss engineering.

Excellent traction walking, hiking but less suitable for flat surfaces, indoors. Feels like cleats on flat surfaces.

Returned. The sneaker itself looked amazing.. love the design 150%. I wear a true 9 in most scenario's and never have had to order a wider width than just regular... so I ordered a basic size 9. My toe was pretty snug at the front and the width felt very tight.. so much so that I had to really loosen the laces until I couldn't anymore. The fabric on the top still looked stretched and tight on my foot and also felt like it. Based on the prior reviews, which I read after I got the size 9, I could see a rip or separation coming up down the road and didn't want to wait it out for the stretch-to-fit option. So I ordered a 9.5 thinking it would be perfect as I loved the styling. The 9.5 was just the opposite.. way too lose by the toe. So neither would work for me. The material itself also looked too loose/wavy on my foot.. Anyway.. super disappointed as I love the styling and look of this shoe. :-(

I purchased a pair several months ago and just bought a second pair because I loved the first so much. The second pair is smaller, stiffer, and actually rubbed my heels raw--which the first pair has never done. For the price, I will never purchase this brand again if this is how inconsistent the shoes are.

Love the shoes - The upper fabric is so cool! the soles are amazing. The toe box is tight and my toes feel jammed tight. I have a wider flat foot.

Very functional and attractive design. The sleeve makes for a snug fit. The shoes weee narrower and mallee than the standard 7.5 I typically wear and had to exchange for and 8 which fit perfectly.

These shoes were as comfortable as slippers the minute I put them on. I love wearing them.

I have arthritis in my feet. These shoes are very comfortable, and give good support. My walks are much more comfortable.

Glove fit! So much support on the trails!

Love these shoes for the trail, and they run half size small for me. Also, I wear them without socks and don't need to tie them, which is also why I like them-- they have a glove like feel. Lightweight and good traction

I bought a size up and they fit great. love them!
