This shoe is really cute and comfortable but when I opened the box initially, there was a strong chemical odor. I assumed it would go away shortly but it's been 3 weeks and they are not any better. I can't leave them in my closet with the door closed as the smell is so strong. I can't get it to go away. Although extremely comfortable and great chaining and support, I will not order Vionic again because of the smell.

I have severe plantar fasciitis and it is extremely difficult to find a cute shoe that helps with my pain. These shoes are amazing and were the answer to my needs; however I could have used a more cushion in the heel. They are still worth it though!!

These shoes are so comfy i can stand on my feet and walk all night in them! The back strap gaps a little but I kept them anyway because it's hard to find a comfortable shoe that's also fashionable looking.

I like these shoes (which I bought in snake) but they still emit a chemical odor after over 2 months. The smell was disturbingly strong when they arrived and I'm concerned that it has persisted this long.

While it's cute and I'm a fan of vionic, this shoe smelled terrible! (I ordered the snake pattern.) I left it outside on the balcony for three days to air out and it wouldn't go away. It's overpowering ... I even sprayed perfume and still remained. Avoid ... it's unfortunate but I had to return.

Love these shoes. They’re super cute and really comfortable. I have a hard time finding heels that I can wear that don’t kill my feet. Vionic does a great job. I also get a lot of compliments on them.

I’m very tall, so I don’t wear heels often, but I decided to splurge on the Carmel color of these for a wedding and I’m so glad I did! I danced in them all night and felt no discomfort at all! The support was great, and the straps were nice for a non heel-wearer like myself. I’ve seen some of the reviews mention that the ankle strap is too short on the larger sizes, but I got the 11 and it was fine for me—I actually wore it on the tightest setting. I will say that the sides of the shoe (the little straps on the heel that connect to the ankle strap) kind of bulge out a little from a straight-on view, but considering that the shoes looks fine from other angles and are insanely comfortable, I’d say it’s a small price to pay. Overall, this is a comfortable heel that can easily be worn with both formal and casual outfits—I highly recommend!!

Love these shoes! Incredibly comfortable but required a half size larger than normal due to all of the arch support.

I was surprised at how comfortable these shoes are!! I have a hard time lasting in heels all day, but these were as comfortable as a flat. I would definitely recommend

I got the snake skin print to take with me to Paris. I love them! There was an odor when I first opened the box but l put them outside all day and now there’s no noticeable smell. I wear between a 5.5-6 and the size 6 fits great. My foot is medium width with a semi high arch. These arches fit perfectly and give me so much support. I wore them all evening without any rubbing or pain. There super light and walkable.

My second pair! Bought in camel color and now black. LOVE these sandals. Comfortable and stylish!

Very cute and on trend shoe. I purchased the snake to go with many outfits. For a heel, I think they are comfortable. I give them a 4 star on comfort just because heels of this height are still not what I feel are "comfortable", but they are much more so than the average heel of this height especially with the Vionic support. Block heel provides stability.

These shoes are so cute. They look great on and they are very comfortable. Even though the heel is high, that Vionic comfort is still there. I love that I can wear heels and not be in excruciating pain at the end of the day. The block heel is right on trend. I may have to purchase in another color, but I couldn't resist the snake. I love them!

Ok, so I read all the reviews about the horrible smell of the snake color and expected to be knocked over when I opened the box. Yes, there is an odor, but not as overpowering as I expected it to be. Actually, it was slight, which I am grateful for as I LOVE these shoes. Not only are they fashionable, they also feature the wonderful Vionic technology which makes them SO comfortable. The fit is perfect, I’m in my regular size. Very happy I didn’t let the reviews turn me off to these beautiful shoes!

Take heed of the smell! I read the other reviews and thought “maybe they’re just sensitive to a glue smell”. I stand corrected! I have no clue what snake died for the sake of these shoes, but that poor soul rotted before they glued him to the shoe. Haha! I actually kept the shoes believe it or not. They’re comfortable for heels & they’re beautifully styled. I sprayed some perfume down by my ankles & prayed no one could smell them during the outdoor event I had. My closet stinks though. I may have to bag them. Just keep all this in mind with a “Buyer Beware” mentality.

Love the look of these shoes! They have good arch support but they could use a little more padding under the balls of feet area. But the smell!! It is absolutely horrible and even after weeks of them sitting out to air out, you still smell them even if your a few feet away! I'm still keeping them though cause they're so cute!

I just received mine and they are beautiful, but I'm disappointed I will have to send all of them back for a 1/2 size larger. I bought the Carmel in black and snake,(and the Noble Tansy in saddle) in my usual size 8 like all my other Vionic sandals. I have skinny ankles and borderline narrow feet, longish toes. These all run a little short in the length so my toes are a little close to the edge and I think with walking around a while they might start to hang over a little. Overall, I love Vionics for my cranky feet. They are buttery soft and seem very well made. It's nice to have some cute heels to dress up with since I can't wear just any high heels like I used to. These will be good for church, date nights etc., wouldn't do a ton of walking in them though. I hope the 1/2 size larger will be good. I like Zappos' exchange feature but they limit exchanges to $250 and I bought 3 pairs.

These sandals were really cute. The only problem was that the strap around the ankle was way too wide and extremely loose. (I may just have small ankles). Needless to say, I had to return them.

These shoes are gorgeous and I wish wish I could wear them more often... The problem, for me, is the complete lack of cushioning in the foot pad. The arch support is sufficient and I love the heel height and style but the lack of cushioning in the foot pad is a killer. These only come out on special occasions... And I pay the price the next day.

The shoe is beautiful and comfortable. However, the snake version of the shoe is not a leather shoe and what’s worse, it off-gasses a horrendous chemical smell. I can’t believe a company would sell this product.

Beautiful shoe but it runs very small. I have a double-a width foot and this shoe was too narrow. The strap around the ankle was uncomfortably tight as well. My ankles are 8 1/2 inches and even on the last hole the strap cut into them.

This shoe fits beautifully except for the ankle strap. You would think that if a woman need a size 11, the strap would be ample. Instead its cut for a woman with a size 7 or 8. Hate this because I love the shoe. Vionic and ALL shoe companies need to remedy this problem.

Te worst smell there is - absolutely toxic - got rid of the box and put the shoes out on the balcony and sprayed perfume - the smell remains... I think it would have been cute but cannot get over the toxic smell
