Bought these for a hiking/walking trip where I knew I might get muddy going on trails and around waterfalls and beaches. I only packed a backpack for a week long trip so it was important to find a pair of shoes that would look good with jeans, athletic wear, and skirts in a pinch. I really like the lower cut style and flexible back of the shoe; there was little to no break in required. Very lightweight, excellent traction on rocks and in rain. If they get wet, it's no problem because they are mesh and dry out fast. I love the look of them. Used them at the gym several times, but they aren't really made for that as much as they are for walking on trails. I am excited to throw them in the washing machine when I remember to and am taking them on my future trips.

If I designed hiking shoes, I would design ones like these. They are lightweight, cool mesh, have rubber bumpers on toes (my toenails tend to pop through mesh uppers) and the traction is awesome. My feet are narrow, so mediums are really too big. Much too big in these shoes. But since the insole is flat anyway, I put my regular (expensive) insoles inside and voile--they are perfect! Not too tight, but still roomy (especially in the toe box)--just right. I imagine a true medium would find these just right even with an insole if more support is needed. I take a 9 1/2 in a dress shoe or flat and 10 in athletic shoes or boots. I ordered 10 in these and they are wonderful--my toe is NOT up against the toe of the shoe, but still not too long. I have only worn them inside my house, but forgot I had them on--the true test of a well-fitting shoe. They look nice on, too. I thought they might look very long in size 10, but they are, as the box says, "sleek." I am thrilled with this shoe and also the service from Zappos. Great price, very fast shipping. I will be back.

These are very attractive shoes. There is no arch support and because they're also very light and the soles are thin, they almost feel like I'm walking around in socks. It took some getting used to. I ordered my regular size 7 1/2 and also size 7 and although the half size down felt somewhat tight at first, it eventually stretched out and now it even feels a bit large. So glad I kept the smaller size!

I am a personal shopper, so I am on my feet and running around quite a bit. I decided to give these a try, because they match my shirt that I need to wear on the job. What started out as a strictly aesthetic purchase turned into a super smart and functional one. Very comfortable from the first wear. Very lightweight, breathable, and almost feels like you're wearing nothing.

This is a very lightweight and breathable shoe. Exactly what I wanted for a spring/ summer weekend shoe. They are super comfortable! I might not do rigorous hiking but perfect for light hikes or walks. They do seem to be a little long and narrow. I have extra toe room but it doesn't bother me. I'm keeping them. They don't seem super durable so I am curious to see how long they last. Good price and overall comfort.

I read the reviews and initially order a 1/2 size smaller as others said these run large. Well that was a little small for me so returned them for my actual size. They do run a little big - for me mostly in the width, but I'd rather have them run large than small especially for a walking/hiking shoe. They are very cute and stylish and did the trick for me on a rigorous hike out in Colorado or just walks in my neighborhood. I recommend - especially if you're someone like me who is more a casual hiker who wants to be stylish!

Run very large. Exchanged for a full size down but even the smaller size wasn't quite right for me. No arch support & the outside edges of my feet felt worn out after wearing briefly.

As the name suggests, these do look sleek on my feet and run just a tad on the narrow side. I love the lightness of the shoe and the soft back that doesn't dig into my low heel. The sole feels grippy on smooth floors, so as another reviewer mentioned, it may work better for light hikes than the gym. The deal breaker, unfortunately, was the extremely slippery interior—I wouldn't want to go downhill in these shoes, especially since the cap of the toe is made with a much stiffer material and is uncomfortable to ram your toes into. Perhaps these are meant to be worn with orthotics or without socks??

I tried to like these shoe, In two different colors. Ultimately, they were both returned, mostly because of the fit. Pointy and long, they made my feet look huge. Pros: they are comfortable and cool.

Loved color and wanted to like these. These are super lightweight and similar to Natives. I'm usually a 10. Ordered a 9.5. The heel and over my foot felt ok. The toe box is comically huge. Returned.
