Have plantar fasciitis and lower back pain. This shoe is great for both. I wear mainly on street but have gone for short hikes too. Very pleased with the style and price too!

I bought this shoe for a recent trip to Zion national park. Overall, it was very comfortable and held up well against some challenging trails. Provided good support during off trail rock scrambling. My arch was slightly sore after the long hikes. Better arch support in the shoe may have helped, but again, after a 7 mile hike I expect my feet will be sore and tired. As far as looks go, after 3 days of solid hiking, the shoe looks like new and is very stylish. I would recommend.

I've had these shoes for a weekend and spent all day yesterday breaking them in. These have great tread and will be just what I need for trails, hiking, activities like that. However, they definitely need some breaking in. So if you plan on buying these for a specific trip with miles of walking/hiking, spend a few days breaking them in first. Looking forward to seeing how long these last.

I was looking for a shoe that is good for walking on uneven, rocky surfaces. These shoes have excellent ankle support and the sole is thick and rigid enough on stand up to rocky conditions. The only draw back is that they do not have much padding in the heel. They are great for my 2-mile walk everyday, but wouldn't want to wear them all day long.

I bought these for light to moderate hiking in Maine. They were perfect for the terrain. I have very wobbly ankles and was debating between low shoes and boots. I'm glad I opted for these. They were comfortable right out of the box, stood up to mud and puddles perfectly, and got me up and over all kinds of rocks, roots and hills without twisting my ankle once.
The only thing I would consider tweaking is the arch support. While comfortable, I could see needing an insert for longer hikes (<4 miles or so).

When I initially tried the shoes on they felt very comfortable but after wearing them for a full day my feet were very tired and the shoe around the ankle was very stiff and hard which rubbed against my ankle bone. I put an insole to see if this would solve the issue but it didn’t, it was a stiff shoe and had a very wide toe box but did not rub on my toes. So the bottom of the shoe was uncomfortable but top comfortable

I write an initial review loving this shoe but after wearing it all day long, it made the bottom of my feet very tired, not enough cushion and the sides of the shoes rubbed against the sides of
my ankles. The top portion was very comfortable and did not run on any superior aspect of my foot. The cloth was pliable.

Great hiking shoe that’s super comfortable and lightweight. Runs about a half size big.

These are not your typical running shoe. They are more substantial and supportive. Great for the trail but I would not wear them for running. I am also using them as my golf shoes since it gets pretty wet in the winter here in Oregon.

These were a little larger than my normal size but that is how Adidas shoes typically run for me. I put in a pair of insoles and they fit perfect. The shoes are comfortable and look relatively nice. They are waterproof and did well in the snow and slush! Highly recommend

I ordered this climaproof version, a goretex version (newer) and the regular non water proof version in all kinds of sizes.
I'm normally womens size 10 or sometimes a size 9.5
First of all, this Adidas Terrex A2 shoe is really big in the toe box. If you have a skinny foot this is probably not the model for you.
This Climaproof version is a whole size too big! The 9 worked best for me.
The regular non-waterproof version size 9.5 worked (9 was too small).
The goretex version I sent back (didn't like the color as well). The size 9.5 seemed best there.
Also, the padding of the climaproof shoe is MUCH thicker and more comfortable. This goes for the sole too.
The regular non-waterproof version, is MUCH thinner and not as comfortable. The sole seems flimsier too.
I kept the CP size 9 and the regular size 9.5 and will be using these for hiking and back packing.

Absolutely lo ed theses shoes! I bought 10 pairs of different brand hiking shoes and these were perfect, comfortable, soft, lightweight and cute. The top is water resistant but not waterproof but it makes it a softer shoe on top and my little toes is a little curved which makes it rub ond blister on stiff shoes. I would have never guess that adidas would be a good hiking shoe and it looks like a sneaker instead of a clunky hiking shoe

I usually wear a 8.5 women's shoes but having bought Adidas before, I knew to order 1 size smaller. I bought a 7.5 and they fit perfectly. I'm a nurse and on my feet all day so I need a firmer support than the usual running shoe. These feel good right out of the box. They are a little wide but comfortable.

I ordered this shoes for a hiking trip in Southwest Utah. I can't say enough good about this shoes. They needed no breaking in. I climbed and hiked everyday for a week and my feet never hurt at all. They were very comfortable and most important they gripped the rocks etc..... amazingly well. They are also lightweight.

A comfortable, lightweight shoe that's halfway between a sneaker and a low-rise hiking shoe. My Adidas sneakers and Merrell low-rise hiking shoes wore out at the same time. I replaced them with this hybrid-like shoe -- which was more comfortable out of the box than either pair of the old shoes! The toe box is roomy and there is also room for my custom orthotics. I will now be buying another pair in a different color.

Cute and comfortable. Ordered my regular size and returned for a 1/2 size smaller. Probably could have gone a full size smaller.

Runs true to size. I was looking for a better pair of hiking shoes that I could also wear around town running errands. These shoes give awesome ankle support. Super sturdy but flexible for rock scrambles and such.

These shoes were comfortable an attractive. I returned them because I meant to order the waterproof version (and couldn't reorder because they were out of my size in that style). If I had kept them I probably would have replaces the shoe laces because they didn't seem very strong. Also these shoes run big, although I didn't mind because I have wide feet.

SO COMFORTABLE. But, a full size too big. I’m usually a 6.5, I ordered a 6. Should have gotten a 5.5.

I love the way these shoes look and feel, but ultimately I didn't feel like they had enough arch support. I ended up going with the Lowa Maddox instead. If I could buy two pairs though I would have definitely bought these too along with some insoles.

Fits perfectly...I'm always a 6 1/2 Adidas. I always wear adidas...fit my feet well. Good support. I like the significant sole for walking, light hiking.
Looks really cool!

Very comfortable! Ordered a 10 & 1/2 (which is usually my size) & ended up getting a 9 & 1/2. The 9's are perfect. Love the color. Colorado here we come !!!
