Finally a good looking travel pants for the tall and thin! Ordered the 32 Long for my 6' 6" son. Light weight and fits great. Wish they made the ladies travel pants in women's.

Hubby was looking for a very lightweight pair of pants for a safari vacation and these are going to be perfect! They are very thin but feel rugged at the same time. I'm going to have to see if they have the same pants in women's! We ordered them on Saturday and got free delivery Monday! LOVE Zappos!

I wear my Sol Cool Nomad pants every day during the summer, and my jeans every day during the winter. Most comfortable pants you will ever own. They always look good.

I love these pants! They are fantastic pants for travel because they are lightweight, amazingly stain resistant, and have hidden pockets on each side for passport and money. I never had to wear my money belt when I wore these. I now have 2 pairs of the shorts and 2 pairs of the long pants.

My husband likes these pants so much that he bought two more pairs in different colors. They wear well and are easy to launder.

Nice pant with great features. Like how the zipper pockets are positioned discreetly into the side seams. However, the Sol Cool jade infused fabric really does keep you so cool, and it was the main selling feature for me.

Bought these for a trip to Europe and they worked fantastically. Now I wear them all the time.

I have always wore the original Nomad with stretch waist band and classic fit. The relaxed fit looks baggy. Please bring back the original.

I have worn 3 different versions of theses pants since 2009. Although the changes throughout the years have been somewhat downsizing in features category -the fabric used in these pants are still better then the rest of their competitors. Hopefully, they will make a compromise and bring back exterior pockets as well as the use of the thick strand of material rather then tread for the main button.

I purchased these for an upcoming trip, these fit great and wash up nicely ( hang to dry per wife) Like the side pockets ( they are disguised when not using them) Super comfortable! Sized abit large maybe an inch. Ie. I usually purchase 35 waist. I initially purchased the 36. They were huge. Purchased the 34 and they were perfect.

Different colors actually fit differently and all the same size!

I really like the quality, durability, and style of these pants. I wish you had retained the zipped back pocket of the previous Nomad. I have a problem with things slipping out of the pockets unless they're zipped or buttoned.

I have purchased and worn Nomad pants for well over 10 years. I still wear them all of the time. Good material, well made, good styling, etc. However, the LATEST STYLE CHANGE WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTING. The waist band has no elastic and is sloppy. The belt holes are not placed correctly. There is no real leg exterior pocket as before. The button is held by a thread. PLEAS BRING BACK THE PREVIOUS STYLE AND CHARGE MORE IF YOU NEED TO.

I bought these last month as I prepare for a summer backpacking trip in Western Europe. However, after trying them on I quickly repackaged and returned them. Though light and airy and likely fantastic for packing, these would not be a pant that I would be comfortable wearing as dress-casual for travel. They have a dumpy fit due to their paper thin fabric that looks great hanging up in a picture or laying flat on a surface, but look terrible when wearing. I'll continue my search elsewhere as it seems all their shirts and pants have a similar cut. I returned the shirt I tried as well, but I will say the boxer briefs are amazing. I gave this a three star because others might be fine with a baggy cut dress pant and the quality of the material and stitching were great.

I'm 6'2" and the pants are still dragging underneath my shoes. I typically think the pants are too short but these are starkly the opposite and too long. Make sure you're 6' 4" or taller if ordering these long versions.

Pants fit well but a bit more of the traditional style. No elastic waistband which made for a very comfortable fit on the previous pant. Also miss the zippered pockets both back and on the leg. The pants are comfortable and a good alternative in warm weather, but it seems to me the old style was more versatile.I hope the "powers that be" would strongly consider bringing them back

Belt loops are not in the best location when wearing a belt. In fact the picture showing the nomad pant is not the same as the one I received. My seamstress is modifying the pant for my belt need.

I've been wearing these pants for 5 months now and I really wanted to love them. I photograph destination weddings and I need a pair of pants that are cool in humid environments, and that can get wet and dry fast because I work on the beach and am in the water a lot taking photos. Also, a pair of pants that fits this description and doesn't have cargo pockets. But this waistband is made from a material that also slips down. It is too the point where I can't even wear these pants to leave the house for just a couple of hours. They are nice and light, and dry quick, but can not be worn without a belt which doesn't make sense for hiking pants.

Agree with others, "Nomad" has been my go-to warm weather outdoor pant, but not now. "modern" sleeker fit, but who'd wear hiking pants for a night out?!? Much more constrictive legs/crotch, not good for hiking, climbing, yard work, etc. But, waist actually kidna big and not elastic anymore. Less study stitching, no more double waist buttons, etc.

I've been wearing ExO pants pretty much exclusively for the past 15 years. These are the first I've had that have no elastic in the waist. Also, the interior waistband is lined with a soft material that is also quite slippery. So the pants slip down during ordinary wear, even when cinched tightly with a belt. Please bring back the elastic side panels! Also, the zippered pockets are on the inseam, below the main pockets. This is OK, but they are a little awkward to access. I miss the side zippered patch pocket on other designs. Because of these flaws, I won't be buying more of these.

I have owned many Nomad Pants over the years. The new style is aweful. No security pockets on the back and no elastic waistband for comfortable fit. What are you folks thinking? Guess I'll be finding a new brand.

I used to love the Nomad pants. The ones with pockets, pleats, button at the bottom of the pants leg. Why did they mess with a great thing. The pants they now sell are ugly, no pockets etc, etc!!

I have 3 pairs of Nomad pants and love them. I have a 33" waist and 30" inseam, and the Size 32-30 Nomad with the stretch waistband fits me perfectly. The Sol Cool Nomad does not have an elastic waistband, so the 32 is too tight, and the 34 is too baggy. I ended up buying another brand.
