I love this shirt! Bought it for an upcoming trek, but it's such a nice shirt, I'm pretty sure I will wear it out an about long after the trek is completed. It is especially nice in black.

I have been wearing Smartwool short- and long-sleeved shirts for at least 8 years now, for travel, hiking, and more recently at the gym when I follow a cardio class with yoga. I delayed reviewing this shirt until I was able to compare it to the Micro shirts on a number of variables.
I like the styling on this new shirt better, since the edging sits smoother than the earlier shirts, and the slightly longer sleeve gives more coverage. I was concerned that the nylon core might up the stink factor, but I tested it against my older tees and found it performed as well. I can get through cardio and yoga without getting soggy or stinky. When I use the shirt casually I can get the same 3 days of wear without getting stinky. I washed both styles and compared their hang drying time, and find the new version dries slightly faster.
My only complaint is the muted colors. I really like the bright blue color that has been featured in the men's shirts for the last couple of seasons, and wish that it would be offered in women's styles.

I got this in the light aqua color. I do use it a lot. It is the lighter weight fabric, so it can ride up. The fit is perfect and I like the length.

Great base layer, beautiful light blue color, and true to its word, it kept me very warm on a day where it turned out I didn't need as much layering as I thought, but the sweat wicked right through! If there was any shortcoming, it's that it is a tad itchy and the tags are really annoying, but those issues are easily solved (I hope) with washing it a few times and removing the tags. I bought a large to have a little room in the 40DD area, and I love the fit!

Soft and easy to move in. I wear this as a base layer on hikes when the outside temps are in the 30's. Other wool t's can chafe. This one is super soft. The color is deep and vivid.

These shirts are very thin, so I think they are best for layering under thicker shirts. Very soft and comfortable. Wicking works well. #sweepstakes

I use this product when I am washing dishes as it is short sleeved. I also use it as an undergarment under the 150 base layer product of the same color. I really like the peacock color. Smartwool is just a little itchy, as I have sensitive skin, but the scratchiness is bearable for me as it is just a light annoyance. I crave the warmth of wool in the fall and winter and spring, and this is the only wool that I can tolerate. I only like the 100% merino wool items because I have all over the body neuropathy and nylon, polyester and spandex irritate my nerves and start of the burning pain of neuropathy. Smartwool products are less apt to start up the pain my neuropathy.

Basic baselayer shirt will be useful for outdoor activities. Material is thin, and I found it ran a bit large.

This was a soft and comfy tee shirt with the feel of soft cotton without the annoying sweat factor. I sized up just for a roomier fit. The purple tie dye wasn't my style but there are plenty of other color options that fit my taste. I wore it hiking a few times and felt cool and comfortable and stink free. Sill looks new after multiple washes. #SmartwoolLove

Love this top, but giving it 4 stars because hems at bottom and sleeves wrinkle after washing. Dusk marble wash is very pretty. Fit is more form fitting than merino sport 150. Fabric stays very soft after washing. Love how merino controls odor while regulating temperature!

Fit is more form fitting than sport 150. Dusk marble wash is very cute. Fabric is very soft even after washing, but hems at bottom and sleeve ends wrinkled after washing, which is why I am only giving it 4 stars. Love how merino wool insulates and self regulates temperature and nothing beats it to prevent odor!

First thing I thought upon opening the packaging was 'wow! This is soft'. Next to skin feel is great and the lightness of the 150 weight makes it perfect for doing anything active in. I love the idea of the plant based tie dyed look and think the could have taken it even farther with the darker tones. One note is that sweat spots do show up if working out in but that is to be expected with any shirt of a lighter tone. Overall very pleased with this shirt. #SmartwoolLove

Pros: super comfortable , Soft,
Long enough for this long torso gal!
Not tight (which is hard to find in the merino world), just all around comfy. I wore it for 4 days straight(I haven't washed it yet )
Very warm I almost don't want to wear a jacket but I need to keep the arms warm. Overall Really like this top, bought 3
I am 5"9 175 and I really like the fit of the XL it's loose but I like loose. I could of got a L if I was truly wanting this for a base layer but I want to just wear this as an everyday t-shirt
Cons: lighter gray color is a bit more shear then the peacock and forest green color and it also feels different, I don't know why the grey is different but it's almost a tad scratchy and not as soft.
Another huge down to this top which is why I can only give it 4 stars is the tag placement.. it's just in a very strange spot. It sits in between the hip and stomach and it's just VERY annoying.

Bought this shirt for comfort during aerobic outdoor exercise. The bright habanero color is good for additional visibility while riding my bike. Today was warm and rainy and I wore this shirt in comfort while bike-riding through the rain, then kept it on and worked at the barn and rode two horses wearing the same shirt as the day cooled. This shirt kept me comfortable the whole time. Four stars not five is because the shirt is cut slightly too narrow through the hip, but the short sleeve is the perfect length, not too short like some women's shirts. Four and a half stars!

At first I was skeptical about using a short sleeve shirt as a base layer but it was perfect during cold weather and under other layers.

Seems nice enough, but not unusual in any way. Mostly I use short-sleeved base layers, but I've worn this under my bike jersey on cold, but not too cold, rides.

Haven't worn outside yet, but it's super soft and comfy. Fits very well. It'd work well even as a regular shirt.

I would have giving this a five star. The sizing chart indicates that I am a medium. But small fits me perfectly and medium makes me look grumpy. I am not happy with the look. I would have warn this everyday if it was a small. I was able to wear this from Vancouver (9) to Los Angeles (19) and feel just right. I usually feel cold on the plane but this kept me comfortable (with a jacket). When I get hot flashes, this is more tolerable.
