This shirt is so comfortable. It fits very well and I love the longer length and I also appreciate that the neckline is not cut too low like many women's tshirts seem to be these days.

Love LOVE these colors. I bought teal and it's a deep richly gorgeous shade. The shirt is loose for room to bend and twist. I use these shirts for everyday use and to exercise.

The fit is comfortable. The short sleeve base layer keeps me warm with out over heating. I can layer it or wear it with out a layer. It's great for our Michgan winters.

Depend on Smartwool socks to get me through the winter, and will surely buy more tees now that I know how nice they are. Light, soft, and machine washable. Absolutely no itch. Great Product.

This shirt is true to size. My favorite part is there's no shoulder seam, that feature makes the shirt very comfortable. I did wash the shirt by hand but because I wear it almost everyday during my cold morning walk I'm washing it in the washing machine now, gentle cycle, and it's laundering really well. I do air dry it. I would recommend this item.

I have used this under the long sleeve base layer shirt. I cannot wait to wear it in the summer on its own! It is really soft and fits perfectly.

Love this shirt. I ordered a size L but my normal size is M. I like a looser fit, as a mom of four. I'm 5'7" and 145#.

Use these as a layering piece/undershirt or stand alone tee. Soft, tight but not too tight fit. Sleeves are a bit short but the torso is on the longer side. Great cut for me. Durable and washes well. Will keep buying these as new colors come out. #SmartwoolLove

This is the most used piece in my entire wardrobe - it is great for walking the dog, doing groceries, long haul flights, and just about anything else you can think you'd wear a short sleeve for. It's comfortable and is incredibly breathable, ensuring I don't get gross and sweaty throughout the day. #SmartwoolLove

It was a slimmer fit than I expected, but it is a great feeling tee. How can a chunky sheep be spun into such an amazingly soft tee? Through #SmartwoolLove I guess.

Bought this for a multi-day backpacking trip - dries quickly and didn't smell after sweating in it for multiple days in a row.

I bought this for fastpacking (multi-day trips with ultralight gear running as much as possible). I wore it 3 days without showering on hot days at long mileage and it NEVER smelled or itched. I am 5'8 145 and am normally a medium in active wear, but bought a large this time and am glad I did for a little extra room and comfort. The only minor issue was some roughing of the fabric where my pack rubbed against it, but did not affect function. I am buying a second one for casual everyday wear. This shirt is exactly what I wanted.

This shirt was intending for hitting the trails but I'll be using it off the trails too -- it is cozy and comfy in a way I was not expecting. At first it looked large, but it fits great with a snug fit without being restrictive of uncomfortable.

I got a long sleeve Smartwool shirt a couple years ago, and it became my favorite winter baselayer. I find Merino wool to be the best material by far for temperature regulation in cold temps and sweatiness. So I thought I'd try a lighter weight short sleeve, for springs and summers in the outdoors. I've only had the 150 Base Layer s/s for a couple weeks, but so far I really like it. It's comfortable, lightweight, wicking, allows ease of movement. I will be taking this on all my backpacking trips and warm weather hikes. Sizing- I'm a 5'4" woman, 36" chest, the Medium fits great- form-fitting without being tight.

When I got this shirt I was skeptical of the claims that you can wear it, air it out in a sunny window and wear it again, days on end, so I decided to test it.
I wore the shirt for 10 days straight doing exactly that. I worked out in it, wore it on 12 hour shifts at my job which is fairly physical. Wore it around the house. I only spot cleaned it. It never had a funky scent! Asked my husband several times if he could smell the shirt and he said it smelled fine to him, even though he made a face at me when he asked me why I wanted him to sniff test it.
At the end of 10 days I hand washed it in cool water with a bit of soap, put it on a hanger and its as good as new. I'm a believer that Smartwool really is a miracle fabric and I can't wait to add another shirt to my wardrobe. I honestly believe I could take a trip with 2 of these shirts and be fine.

Nice basic t-shirt. I am 5'7" and about 150lbs and I ordered a large so it wouldn't be fitted. It doesn't appear to be see through and it is a true black (no heathering). I think this will become a stable in my wardrobe.

Fits very close to the body so went up to a large from my usual medium. Love smart wool base layer tops for running. Keep me warm in the winter and cool in summer. Wear this top all the time. Feel of the fabric if fabulous

I bought this shirt a few summers ago to hike in and loved it enough to take it with me on my thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. I wore this shirt every single day for almost 5 months and in total have hiked almost 3,000 miles in it (including the hikes before the AT). Afterward, there were a few holes from wear and tear, but that's to be expected after that kind of use and it was still completely functional.
It was comfortable as can be, form-flattering, it kept me dry, cool (even in the crazy southern heat), and smelling better than my fellow hikers. I'm buying the same shirt again for my next thru.

I thought I'd just use this shirt for hiking and backpacking, but I wear it all the time! It's soft and comfortable, and it's not too warm, even in a Western North Carolina summer. It's a great product, and if it wasn't QUITE so pricey, I'd own many.
