The Honor is so close to being a shoe that worked for me. I've been looking for a lightweight walking shoe with good arch support. I found the arch support only moderate and would need to use my inserts, and if that were all I would have kept the shoe, but the LACING "system"... stupid! They are hard to use and when they are secured the lace loops up and needs to be tucked into the shoe. Too much work! If they had had regular laces I would have kept them.

would have been a good shoe for warmer weather due to mesh. However with a high instep it was difficult to get the shoe on. With the toggle lacing system, it restricts the ability to open the tongue of the shoe. Also the toe box seemed shallow so do not think it would have been the right shoe for me.

These are great shoes. I bought them for a trip where I would be doing LOTS of walking over various terrain: cobbled streets, park paths, rough walkways, airport terminals, etc. They never failed me. They offered moderate arch support, easy on and off for airport security and look nice. I think too much is being made about the toggle closure. To me it is a quick and easy way to tighten and it NEVER needs to be tied during the day.
The shoe looks great and people are always asking me what brand they are. There is no huge logo on them (which I like) and they look like they're made for adults as opposed to some trendy logo shoe. I wear a size 10 and my foot actually looks smaller which is an added feature. When I arrive home from a trip I wash them on cold in the washer with a load of towels. I then let them air dry and they're ready for the next trip. They've now been to Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Vietnam, Kenya, Egypt & Jordan. And, I'm ready for another pair!

These are great walking shoes. I took them to Italy a few months ago, and unfortunately I broke a toe (walking around barefoot in our hotel room), but these shoes saved my trip. They were the only ones I could comfortably wear and walk in, so much so that we could even walk the streets of Positano. This is my second pair.

Wow. For over $100 and such a reputable brand you'd think these shoes would have excellent arch support. They are very cute, but as soon as I put the left one on, my plantar fasciitis in that foot FLARED up. These shoes are doing the opposite of what they're supposed to.

Excellent shoe. I have issues with my arches, so I always buy shoes carefully. The removable foot bed allows me to use my own orthodics. What is truly outstanding about this shoe is how stylish it is, while still providing good support. It's actually has a streamline look. I got the black, and the silver "struts" on the side add a touch of design in an understated way. I love everything about this shoe.

This is a very trim shoe, which surprises me. In my previous experience with Dansko, their shoes have seemed large to me. But this doesn't fit as I expect Danskos to fit.
It is a trim shoe that seems well enough made. What it lacks in style, it makes up for in appearance, IMO. I don't think this would stand up to vigorous walking or hikes over rough terrain. I do think you could wear this every day and it would do quite well.
I could have done with a bit more toe room. That's why I did not choose to keep it.

I love this shoe! Took me nonstop through southern Italy for six weeks this spring. Just bought another color to take me on my China trip.

This shoe runs about one size smaller than what my daughter normally wears, The 42 fits find.
This is our second pair of this shoe. We love it because it has a toggle lace. My daughter is a special needs child and can handle this shoe without assistance from anyone else.
This is our second shoe we started with black, now grey, and I just order the blue.
Thanks you Dansko for making a really good shoe that holds up well. And this one doesn't look chunky.

Bought these after undergoing a hip replacement earlier this year. I needed secure shoes that I did not have to bend over to tie so that I could participate in rehab personal training following the completion of my physical therapy.
I have a wide foot with bunions, hammertoes, and a high arch. Dansko shoes have worked for me in the past, and these did not disappoint. They are exactly what I needed and was hoping to find. While the arch support isn't as substantial as other shoes, it is adequate for the short time (30-45 minutes) while I am working with the personal trainer. And the Wide width availability was a real plus, considering that many Dansko shoes do not offer that option.
One other important point. I was also looking for shoes that were not hot, which is a failing of athletic shoes in general. That's why I opted for a brand that wasn't traditionally known for athletic shoes. I wore the Dansko Honor with low-cut SmartWool socks for about 8 hours and they never made my feet swell. That was one of the reasons I decided to keep them.

I like these so well that I am planning to order another pair in a different color. Order a European size bigger than your usual. E.g., if you usually wear a size 40, order the 41. These shoes are great if you have Hallix limitus and need more room in the toe area. The shoes fit well in the ankle and mid-foot area and have extra room in the toe box. They are very comfortable for walking and look cute with jeans. The pull-string lacing system is very convenient and easy, although it's a bit too long so you have to tuck the extra up and under the other laces. Not a big deal. I highly recommend these shoes if you need a bigger/longer toebox!

Very cute shoe, but much more narrow than the Danskos I usually wear...and I wear a lot. I wear a 10/10.5 or 41. The length was good. I think the straps on the sides prevent the shoe from stretching at all. These rubbed on my foot and will need to go back:( Thanks to Zappos for making this such an easy process!

I received Dansko Honor today. Very comfortable with great support and lightweight. I've been looking for a sneaker type shoe that is not clunky looking. This shoe fits the bill. I bought it for an upcoming trip to Europe. This is my first time to buy Dansko. My foot is medium to narrow. In the past, I could never wear Dansko clogs, as they were too wide. I usually wear a 9 1/2 M or N. In athletic shoes, I buy a size 10. The Dansko size 40 fits perfectly.

I usually wear a size 38 in Dansko and a 7 1/2 in most other shoe lines (Thierry Rabotin, Beautifeel) and an 8 in a tennis shoe (Vince, Asics). I cannot wear Keen’s, Sketchers or Crocs as they are too wide, but I never wear a narrow size. This shoe is perfect for me - I have a bit of a narrow heel and need the bungee lace to keep my heels from slipping in most shoes. I need an average size toe box and have flat feet. This shoe is low cut around the ankle which is super important as my ankles swell. It’s very lightweight. I have 2 colors and have worn them on trips where I did quite a lot of walking. My feet never hurt at the end of the day.

Love, love, love. I wore these shoes on a 2 week trip to Italy that included a lot of walking (5 to 10 miles a day) over uneven surfaces and up and down hills. These shoes were ideal. The sole is a lot firmer than the pictures might indicate, which is a plus for me. It makes them less sneaker-like and more sturdy (and dressier). I’m contemplating getting a second pair for the summer! The cords worked really well for me - I have very narrow heels but need a wide toe box, and the cords allowed me to adjust the size easily and precisely.

The Dansko honor is a good looking shoe. iwish it wpuld have worked. I bought a 9 1/2 wide. It is not wide in the toebox. My feet are wide in the toes, they are not thick. I think a lot of companies add extra fabric on top but it doesn’t help with toe space when does sole is still narrow.
These are going back.

Bought these for travel and work days when I’ll be on my feet. I’m usually a 7.5, but after reading the reviews, I sized up from a 37 to a 38. They are roomy enough for good socks, but not too big. Excellent support. I wore them for a quick work trip that involved walking through two airports. Good looks meant I could wear them with nice jeans for dinner. I’d love to have another pair.

The comfort of the footbed felt amazing, however they were very tight. I purchased wide width and adjusted the laces as much as possible, but my feet felt like they were being strangled. Had to return them.

I have very hard to fit feet. These are definitely narrow, and that is why I decided to try them. On top of having long narrow feet, I also have mismatched feet as a result of a heel fracture 6 years ago. Left foot now has a thicker heel and less arch. These shoes fit my narrow feet and very few shoes do. I am only wearing a thin sock. I like how I can loosen and tighten these easily as my foot swells during the day. I added gel heel pads in the heel because the top edge of the shoe was hitting my heel bone. For someone who has problem feet, these are worth a try as long as your feet run to the narrow side.

Very comfortable and good looking shoe. They are not slip ons but it only takes a little work to get them on, and they slip off easily. The outer design is mesh but the shoe is suede so will do in wet weather. The width is perfect and I have yet to feel the need for any extra arch support (I normally wear inserts for arch support)

These sneakers feel terrific. I bought them to have a pair of sneaks that look classier than my running sneakers for walking around the city. These fit the bill. They fit well, give me the support I expect, and I feel secure in them. The laces do not bother me - I'm glad not to have a bow hanging out on the sides. I just tuck the extra lacing under the front laces. Additionally, when I walk uphill and downhill, I do not find my feet sliding or my toes jamming uncomfortably.

Wanted a light weight non-sneaker like shoe. Cannot fit my orthotic in it but surprise! I do not need it! The shoe is very comfortable worn with very light-weight sock BUT I doubt I could walk 5 mi. or a long sightseeing day in these. Stylish and cute when one wants another look besides same old sneakers with orthotics. I have flat feet but still comfortable but again these are not long distance walking shoes!

36W Blue Suede: Right out of the box these were perfect on my foot and use on my vacation. Walking miles and standing hours at a time was hardly noticed in these beauties! Lightweight enough for my carry on, these shoes are now my must-have pair for any travelling or events. Wide width is perfect from toe to heel and all 3 arches are supported and comfortable. The shoe is stylish yet subtle. Another Dansko fave for me!
