I loved my Stan Smiths back in the 80's. I don't know what the arch support was like back then because I didn't need to know. Now I do! There is no arch support. Zippo. And you can't remove the pad in the shoe to insert your own (I use Sole brand inserts). I had to send them back and now I feel really old.

Please be aware: the description needs correction. This is not the Adidas Original Stan Smith with white leather upper (model B24105). It is a fully reflective, white synthetic material (model BB5153) which, according to the Adidas website, appears to only be available in the UK. I was able to order the correct model (B24105) in a subsequent order.

The sizing on these is way wrong. I've had to order 3x. Before you put them in the cart, head over to the Adidas site to cross check your EU size. I'm normally an 8.5 women's, but I'm ordering these in a 7.

Not the Stan Smith of old. No support. Just flat shoes. El cheapo.

Check the Adidas website for sizing before ordering these! I normally wear a women's 8 but went with a 6.5 (per what their website said) and they fit perfectly.

I love them. I bought a half size larger than I ususally wear. I need more arch support than is in the shoe and purchased an arch support insert at a local bootery that specializes in inserts. I was able to pull out the insert in the shoe and replace it with the insert easily. I walked in them for hours the past several weeks and found them to be just perfect!

These might be the most stylish leather sneakers on the entire planet. They complement ANY outfit — whether it's a dressy outfit or a casual outfit. They elevate the style of ANY outfit, and you will get tons of compliments on your shoes like I do. HOWEVER — AND THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT — THESE SHOES RUN A FULL SIZE BIG! If you are a man, know that every single person I have ever spoken to about these Adidas Stan Smith shoes has said that they run a full size big. And yes, in my own experience, I concur. I mistakenly bought these shoes in my normal size first (and I wore them, so they were non-returnable), then I repurchased them a half-size smaller (and I wore them, so they were non-returnable), then I FINALLY got it right by buying them a full size smaller. So I bought these shoes 3 times. I wasted my money 3 times to get the perfect fit. Don't make the same mistake that I did! BUY THESE SHOES A FULL SIZE SMALLER, AND YOU WILL BE IN LOVE WITH THESE AMAZING SHOES! Once you get them in the right size, they are perfectly comfortable and have a great grip and everything about them is top-notch.

The fabric of the Green is different than the rest of the Adidas, it does not feel like the regular leather and it doesn't get as clean when wiped.The Green 1 is the regular one...

I've had these shoes for about a year, and honestly these are probably some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I've worn them through rain and mud, played basketball in them, and have banged them countless times and yet they're still pretty close to their original color with little to no scratches on them. I would definitely buy these again!

I concur with those who say these run a bit large. I am usually a 12 in Adidas Originals, and 11.5’s have always been uncomfortably short, but with these, the 11.5 fits perfectly. If you haven’t bought a pair of Stan Smiths in the past 8 or 9 years, be forewarned, while they still look great, the leather upper has been cheapened and is now a very stiff and plasticky white leather. This very stiff upper combined with the inward slant of the high riding heel tab can lead to some severe ankle blisters if you don’t break them in slowly.

Love the white and gold color. I’m a true size 8 with wide feet. I ordered a size 8 knowing they would be a 1/2 size larger because I put inserts in my sneakers. For reference the size 8 fits more like an 8.5. I would most definitely go a half size down your regular shoe size if you don’t plan on using shoe inserts.

I read reviews carefully and went to the Adidas website to make sure of the size. I matched my usual EU size 39 to 7.5 and they fit perfectly. A little toe room and fine in the heel. The leather is soft compared to Nikes leather and I love them in white and metallic gold.

I absolutely LOVED my Stan Smith's in the 80's and these did not disappoint!! So happy with these. As other reviewers stated they run 1/2 size too big, so size down. Other than that perfection!! Comfortable and I get so many compliments on these. Very happy with my purchase.

My husband has been wearing this same sneaker for at least 40 years. Always size 11. This size 11 was too narrow. Oddly, the labeling has changed so that what is now a size 11 in the US is a 9.5 in the UK. The old labeling was size 11 US is a 10.5 UK. Beware. There was no warning on the website. I don't know if this was a mistake in labeling or if sizing has somehow changed.

Classic and versatile - in style now but never really goes out of style. I went down a 1/2 size from my usual and the length and width fit great.

I like these shoes a lot. A definite favorite. I wear these almost everyday and they are so comfortable!

Love the shoes. They're really comfortable and look great. Maybe because of the style's roomy width, I did think they felt about a half size too big (I wear a very consistent 6.5). Unfortunately, there wasn't a 6 in stock for me to exchange them out and since it's only a half size, I don't mind it.

I wanted a pair of this since the 80's. I miss the 80's. And while I'll never can go back, I can at least get a little of that nostalgia with these. I love them! They are comfortable and clean. They are definitely a full size too big. I wear a 7 in sneakers and these fit in a 6. Otherwise they are great!

I don't think you can go wrong with these, classic styling that can be worn from the tennis courts to work. These shoes feel like a million dollars on your feet. I ordered other stylish white sneakers like Sperry, Dolce Vita and Same Edelman, but it comes down to fit, which this has in spades. Sneakers have extra cache these days with the trend of wearing them with a dress or skirt. I love them!

This is one of the fancier sneakers I own and they did not disappoint. I like how easy you can clean spills/stains on the leather. You can wear them on rainy days(though I prefer not because the stains are harder to come off the shoe laces) and wipe away the dirt splatters. I decided to get them because they look very nice with my outfits and I'm glad they're comfortable to walk around in. I've waited a long time to get them but these shoes are worth every penny!

Love these! I ordered them in white. They fit great and make my legs look longer which is definitely a bonus!
