I'm a great fan of the Original Sambas, and have been wearing them for years. These shoes are even better. Laces are shorter, and the tongue is fixed. No more of the long tongue sliding to the side and laces rubbing on the top of your foot. The sole seems more sturdy, but I've only been wearing them a couple weeks now. Heel pocket is more secure too.

I read reviews and it misled me while choosing the size. After reading reviews I ordered half size smaller one, but it did not fit. So I had to return the item and order the right size instead and it fitted well. The design of this model of Adidas is great, goes with averting. Overall It is a great sneakers.

The shoes length are true to size. The width feels slightly tighter due to the nature of how they built the tongue, it wraps around your foot so that it doesn't slide to either side, it's a cool feature that keeps the tongue dead center however it makes the shoes feel a little tighter than they are. Overall I always love sambas, and I really love these ADVs.

It’s a firm sole with stiff leather sides. My feet are a little wide but they constantly feel pinched in these shoes. Other “skateboarding” shoes don’t seem to have this same issue. I’ve worn shoes by Diesel, Vans, etc... and haven’t ever felt like the sides of my feet were being squeezed. And the tongue of the shoe is sewn into the sides of the shoe and / or glued under the insole so there’s little that can be done to help the shoe provide a bit more give. They look great, are well put together, but hurt the whole time they’re on.

A bit narrow.

Love the new version of these shoes with the fixed tongue and improved heel cap. However if you are converting from Men's to Women's sizes you may want to go up a half size. I usually wear a 9 and bought the 7 in Mens, they fit but its a bit tight with athletic style socks.

I wear a 10 1/2 and the 10 1/2 fit perfectly. Very comfortable shoes and kudos to Adidas for reconfiguring the tongue of the shoe. Same classic design on the tongue but designed in a way that it doesn’t slip down into your show. I’ve worn them for a couple days now all day long and had no issues with the tongue sliding down. Great shoe.

I Love these shoes. You simply can’t go wrong with adidas.

My husband likes them and he’s really picky about shoes.

I have a love/hate relationship with these shoes. The bad thing is that they're too big, I'm a size 13 and I guess Adidas didn't make a 12.5 which is annoying. I was able to deal with the extra room in the Busenitz, but there was too much room in the toe to where it affected my flick for my tricks. There's a lot of complaints on how there's no leather under the T toe, which is true. However, I just dabbed some super glue on the stitching and have had no problem with the seams ripping and I use mob grip. The laces rip really easily, not too big of a deal, but gets annoying after a while. The good part of this shoe is the boardfeel and support. The heel is stiff which helped my heelflips a ton! The sole is cut very deep so the tread didn't blow out. The tongue is very nice, the mesh gives great ventilation. The flick is great, probably better if you get the right size. Overall, great shoes, close to perfect.

Too narrow for comfort. Too bad, I liked these.

Not as supportive or as comfortable as the canvas street sambas. Not as classy as OG sambas. Fits too big by one size - I wear a 13 in both the sambas mentioned above - these fit more like 14s. The tongue is nice though - maybe a better option to the leather samba tongue if you want your shoe to breath.
