LOVE this style, I have an older version of this sandal that fits amazing because of the adjustable straps for my narrow size 11 foot and comfortable and supportive footbed . . . I would love to get in other colors and am sad to see that it does not come in a size 11 ;-( . . . Merrell, please remember the hard to fit larger size ladies out there!

This is my second pair. My first were about 5 yrs old and my dog liked them. They adjust well to my narrow foot and are all day wearable, walkable and comfortable. They come in whole sizes and I usually wear a 71/2 - the 7 fits me well.

This sandal is attractive on my feet and fits nicely but there are 2 things that I did not like. One has been mentioned by other reviewers and that's the back strap which rides too low on the ankle and feels uncomfortable. The other is the toe-gripper ridge on the insole-- it is just too prominent and is especially uncomfortable when your feet are 2 different sizes and it hits one set of toes in a painful place. These ridges are supposed to help but I often find them really a nuisance. The sky-blue leather is a beautiful color and the cushion and fit are typical Merrell, supportive and practical. These sandals run quite large; I am between 8 1/2 and 9, and the size 8 fits very well.

Aluminum color is lighter than shown. I'll need to go up a half size if I reorder.

I read the reviews, who said they run small, and ordered a 7. I am between a 7 and 8. They are too narrow. Another thing - I have only worn Merrells for the past 15 years. The quality has gone WAY down on Merrells. These don't feel like expensive shoes anymore. The arch support is not as good anymore. They feel kind of cheap. One review said they had scratchiness around the footbed seam, and that's true! They look really cheap at that seam. Like sandals you would get for $20 at Target. see photo. I like the style, and I've been so happy with my Merrell sandals in the past - wish they wouldn't do away with styles that have become my comfortable favorites!!! STOP CHANGING!!!!

not enough velcro to make the tight enough over the midsole

There is a little ridge that goes under your toes. It hits my feet in different places because my feet are slightly different sizes. I love the color of the shoe, the fit of the shoe, and the good grip of the sole. But that ridge......I don't want it to be irritating like a pebble in my shoe. So I am returning it with great disappointment.

Great sandal- I wanted to love it- i have other Merrill styles and wear them religiously all year long. This style though, has a loop on the outside of the show that rubs and hurts. I can’t wear them more than a few hours.

Love, love, love my Merrell's and so glad I took my G'friend's advice and ordered a pair. Cute and comfy!

These look a lot better on than in the photo. Super comfortable. I was looking to replace my super old Tevas. These appear a bit dressier on your foot. They are nubuck and have a nice lining too. I would say these could easily work on a vacation where you are on your feet but don't want to wear tennis shoes. You could wear these with casual dresses or pants/shorts, unlike tennis shoes. While you could easily wear these camping, etc. I'm going to keep them for more street wear and will get some sportier Chacos to replace my almost-dead Tevas for camping/sporty use.

In this otherwise highly adjustable sandal, Merrell decided to leave the diagonal midfoot strap un-adjustable, thereby ruining the fit for my narrow feet. So disappointing. I wish manufacturers would make narrow width sandals.

The sandals were comfortable the first time I tried them. No break in necessary. I wore them on a trip the day after I got them and had no problems. I like the neutral color as it goes with taupe, tan, grey and black equally. It is less “clunky” in appearance than many hiking sandals. I wish there was a little more arch support. I have skinny feet (7N) and have trouble finding hiking/walking sandals so I am thrilled to find these.

Very happy, and Merrells are always worth the cost for me. This shoe is much prettier than what's shown in the pictures. I thought I would only use it for hiking, but I could definitely use it for casual work. My last Merrells are on year 4 and still comfy!

Bought these to wear at Universal Orlando on spring break. I wore them once before our trip. Super comfortable and no break in period! Just what I need!

adjustable straps make it a custom fit; really comfy

I love Merrell Jungle Mocs so I thought this sandal would be perfect but the footbed lacked sufficient padding and my heel came down too hard with each step. These were attractive, wide enough for my wide foot even though they were Mediums, and flexible. Also has many straps to adjust. Disappointed.

Like other reviewers have said the diagonal strap is too tight if your feet swell. Whey they arrived I tried them on and they were perfect. Then, I spent a day shopping and running around and came home to try them on again and the diagonal strap was too tight. My feet don't swell too much, but the little bit they did made this shoe uncomfortable. Pretty color, wish I could have kept them.

Do not get of your feet swell even a bit. Top thin strap very tight.

Unfortunately these sandals had wonderful potential. They are stylish and the sizing fit in a size 9 which is appropriate for a sandal when wearing a size 9 - 9 1/2 shoe size. They are also cut narrowly...again good for my foot. Where they went really wrong is the foot bed. It feels like a piece of cardboard was glued to the shoe leaving a scratchy all around seam. It feels like sandpaper on your foot. I never experienced or expected that from a Merrell Sandal....especially with the cost of over $80.00. They feel like cheap seconds! Bah humbug!

I wear a size 11 and found that to fit true in this style. I like that I can easily adjust both the toe area and at the ankle. For taking on and off, I have to open only the Velcro strap at the ankle. They are very comfortable which is my number one concern in any shoe as I have peripheral neuropathy and normally feel most comfortable with socks and closed shoes. The blue is very compatible with jeans. I would order again.
