Great pair! Break in period is needed but they are very stylish. Nicely designed and unique.

I've been using this style of fingertrap shoe since they first came out as Nike Free 5.0's. I've had them as 5.0's twice, as the Nike Air Fingertrap, and was very happy when I came across these on Zappos. I know Nike's run more narrow, but I have always been the same size in these shoes (10) so I knew I was safe to order a size 10. This Lunar version fits just like the others did, super comfortable and just right width for me. I've always used FingerTraps for CrossFit and these are absolutely perfect because they have enough stability for lifting yet are super light and comfortable for running. I would not use them for long distance running (over 2 miles) since they are not made for that, but for what I do 4-5 days/week, they are perfect. Since I know that these Lunars fit so well I am definitely ordering a second pair.

What a piece of garbage! I wore this thing for couple hours and my foot hurt so bad, blistered due to crappy stitching under the lace holes. I can't even return these due to wearing it! Complete BS! You think they slapped a NIKE logo on this shoe and sold this trash under NIKE brand. Nike you should be ashamed of this hot garbage shoe.

Great balls of fire I finally found a cross trainer that works. I’m a woman with chronic peroneal tendonosis which requires an extra-wide shoe so as not to put any pressure under the outside edge of my foot. Peroneal Tendonitis/tendonosis also requires a moderately high heel-toe drop/offset of 11-12mm, again to avoid putting pressure on the peroneal nerve. This shoe has an 11mm offset, according to the Nike website. Actually, according to the FIVE podiatrists I’ve seen, everyone should be wearing shoes with an 11-12 mm drop to avoid getting Peroneal Tendonitis in the first place. So the shoe companies are causing injuries with their zero-drop fads. Anyway, I normally wear a women’s 9.5 D Brooks Ghost and they work great, for everything except aerobics, strength training, or anything that requires any kind of lateral movement, which running shoes are just not made for and can cause injuries. Of course, shoe companies are apparently prejudiced against women who need wide shoes, because they refuse to make cross trainers in wide (let alone extra wide) for women. New Balance has exactly one that has a decent offset and it feels like it’s made of concrete. So I widened my search to men’s shoes and finally came across this one, which feels great! The toe are is a bit wider and deeper than I’d like but not dangerously so, and I’d expect that since it’s a men’s shoe anyway. They’re more masculine-looking than I’d like, but again, they’re men’s shoes so I’ll take what I can get. They’re not too bulky which is what I was after. Most of all, they’re comfortable. They fit my foot well with my orthotic inserts, they’re flexible, lightweight, and stable for forward and lateral movements. They seem well made and durable, but my Brooks Ghosts only last about 2-3 months of moderate use before the sole starts to separate, so if they wear better than that, I’ll be happy. The cushion feels great, there’s good give but it’s not a marshmallow, and it’s not all in the insole like many shoes. After removing the insole and putting my orthotics in, they still feel nice and cushiony. Also, the laces come up high enough to give good ankle support. Most cross trainers don’t have the extra top eyelet that runners do, and this one doesn’t either, but with the lacing loops, they come up high enough to get a decent heel lock. Bottom line, these are great trainers at a great price, and I’m so happy to have found them.

These are incredible shoes. I use them to participate in an athletic conditioning class twice a week. The class incorporates sprints, agility drills, and lots of jumping. I prefer some support in my shoes- Nike Zooms and Nike Free trainers don't have enough support for me and cause some knee pain. I typically wear Nike Air shoes as I find that they offer good support yet are lightweight. I have been wearing a pair of Nike Air Max Edge 10+ shoes (they were made in 2010/2011) that I was able to find on Ebay for this class. Over the past few years I have tried on many, many Nike trainers but have been unable to find a suitable replacement for my Nike Air Max Edge 10+ shoes. Enter the Lunar Fingertrap TR. These are great shoes. They are lightweight yet offer great support. Perfect for doing sprints, agility drills, and all types of jumping. The Lunar cushioning is ultra-comfortable. They have great traction on all surfaces. They look sharp too. Overall they are an upgrade from my old Nike Air Max Edge 10+. I'm thrilled that I found these shoes and will be buying multiple pairs. I normally wear a size 10 in Nike and my foot is a little wide. These shoes run long and I had to size down to a 9.5 (regular width) and they fit great. They were slightly tight when I first put them on but after ten minutes they felt broken-in and very comfortable. Great shoes overall.

Though I almost always wear extra-wide or 4E shoes with no problems, I barely fit into these 4Es and can only use my thinnest socks. If I had written this review the first day I wore the shoes, it would have been negative, as I was worried that the tight fit around forefoot and toes might cause corns. But after getting used to these, I realize that the plastic shell is very thin and stretchy and won't cause corns. I can't step into these Lunar Fingertraps but must loosen the laces, sit down, and pull them on like tight socks. Because these run narrow, lacing gusset is open very wide and laces are too short. Haven't gotten around to it yet, but intend to buy longer laces. I like the sturdy soles and cool styling. The thin stretchy plastic shell takes some getting used to, but works pretty well. I walk my dogs several times a day, mostly on dirt and grass. The plastic shell protects me from the wet grass and anything short of a heavy rainstorm. These shoes are good for dog walking.

I have wide feet and usually wear 8.5. Tried 4E (extra wide) of these and 8.5 are way too long. 7.5 fit fine length-wise but the rest feels uncomfortable. Seems like the proportion is off in design.

It is a little stiff at first like most shoes. But It fits and looks good.

I need lace up sneakers due to a high instep and usually try to get wide sizes to help with that. With being able to order 4E size on these shoes, it allowed them to fit and feel perfect!!! Could not be any better. I can find Nike shoes here that I can't manage to find in my local Academy store of any of the "Mall" stores and the shipping is unbelievable!!!

I have a high in-step which means lace-ups are about all I can wear without a lengthy break-in period. These fit great!! Only one day and they already feel broken in. I am sure glad I ordered these!! Thanks

I got these for my husband - he loves them! Super comfortable and easy to throw on. The only thing off is when you pull the laces tighter it moves the bands on the sides of the shoe so it can look funny.
