Bought wide shoe size but they do not fit. Toes are cramped and wearing shoes caused sores making shoes unwearable. Feet ;unable to breath so socks became wet from feet became wet from sweating.

I ordered wide. When I put the shoes on they were tight in the toes and hugely sloppy in the heel, slipping off my feetvfreely. Who in the world of wide feet has narrow toes and wide heels? I am still waiting for my refund.

The Moab is an excellent shoe, but this pair is not sized like the other pair I own, which fits me beautifully. With these shoes my feet were aching after wearing for about 1/2 day. They seemed 1/2 size too small, and not the wide width that I expected.

If you have wide feet, do not get. This is uncomfortable.

I wore these on a handful of hikes before the front of the shoe split apart from the sole today. Luckily it didn't split further or I would've been in big trouble on the last few miles of my hike. Merrells 60 day guarantee is not long enough considering these are supposed to be durable shoes.

I received this pair of shoes as a replacement from customer service for a Chameleon Limit 7 Waterproof pair that performed poorly (not waterproof, not water resistant either). I take walks, mostly on paved roads, usually for 1-2 hours at a time. From the first day, these shoes did not feel very comfortable, but after my bad experience with the Chameleon, I was willing to give them a try. After wearing them for a few weeks, my back started to hurt acutely and then my right knee followed. The shoe feels very stiff and lacks support. Exasperated with my Merrell experiences (this one and with the Chameleon shoes), I no longer want to support Merrell. I am not wearing the shoes anymore and am looking at alternative brands. I have been (along with my family), a Merrell shoe wearer and happy customer since 1999, wearing their clogs to hiking shoes, and have not had these issues before. I am very disappointed.

I bought these shoes a week ago. Usually right out of the box merrel shoes are great but these weren't they hurt my feet so bad I was limping. The inner soles rubbed against my soles causing blisters after a day, then ththe heel was so stiff it hurt me to stand after 10 mins. I cant wear these and I'm very upset.

I love the support I have with these shoes. I also love their low style -unlike most hiking shoes. However, the first criteria I had when selecting these shoes was they had to be waterproof. They are NOT waterproof - so disappointing. I bought them for walking on wet lawn (not puddles) and my toes get wet. The "Comfort" category received only two starts because wet feet are not comfortable. Very disappointed.

Sole started falling off my Moab shoe after 6 months of strictly indoor only use. Clean, level floors. Very disappointed. I would not recommend if you need something heavy duty for hiking. Also not super impressed with their warranty. Shoes were comfy though!

The first Merrill was too narrow. I ordered a wide but the inside soles are hard, shoes are clunky, uncomfortable. I don't understand all the positive reviews.

Wanted to love them but after a 7 mile hike the top of my foot (near the label on the tongue) was so painful I could hardly walk.

I can find a boot waterproof vegan hiking shoe in a wide width, why cant I find a shoe vegan hiker in a wide width. They're all leather. I have many friends who would appreciate a shoe style vegan hiker in wide.

Bought these shoes SPECIFICALLY b/c they were advertised as waterproof and needed something for walking in the dog in wet grass. These were waterproof for about a month and ever since then I have regretted paying so much for so little! I was told to buy Merrill and this was my first and last purchase. Get LL Bean duck boots instead and don't waste your money on these.

I love my Moab Ventilators so much that I bought a second pair after the first ones wore out. So, I was eager to try the waterproof version of my favorite shoe. I was extremely disappointed. Not only is the shoe not waterproof, there is a horizontal seam around the heel area that gave me blisters. I covered the seam with moleskin and just wear them as a general knocking-around shoe, not for hiking.
