I bought these boots for hiking. I wasn't expecting them to be as comfortable as they are right out of the box. I'd recommend them highly.

This boot runs small. Will not keep them because of the fit so cannot rate them in other respects.

First time I wore these I climbed the top of Camel's Hump in Vermont. It was muddy, steep, and long and these boots kept my feet dry and comfortable throughout the whole hike. I have plantar fasciitis and my feet weren't even sore when I got back down to the bottom. Would buy them again over and over.

I absolutely LOVE these boots! They fit perfectly and they are SO comfortable! I wore them on a short hike this morning to "break them in," but I felt like I could've walked in them all day. I hiked through a wooded area over a rocky ridge and the grip of the Vibram soles on the rocks was amazing! I highly recommend these boots!

These boots fit me great! I have wide feet and many hiking boot styles are so uncomfortable! Not these! They are very comfortable and solid. I can't wait to spend a whole day in them. They look great on my feet. I feel that I will get a lot of use from them!

as someone who works outside all day, I have been a fan of Merrill boots for years, but these boots have surpassed all of my previous pairs; Waterproof technology has made these superior, such a relief to have dry socks at the end of the day, wore them right out of the box for 9 hours, comfortable ,lightweight, will order new ones again and again.

Having a wider foot, finding comfortable hiking boots has always been a challenge for me. Enter the Moab 2 wide width! After multiple hikes, I'm pleased to say that my feet are finally happy at the end of the trail. The footbed provides both cushioning and support. The fit is true to size. Thank you Merrell!

I got the boots for my wife and she loves them. She has a hard time getting boots to fit and the wide fit was the right choice. It had all the support that she needed for the last couple of hikes.

I bought these for work but not the style in the picture they are showing. I got the low shoe that was not waterproof. I walk on concrete most of the day. They have held up well and not wearing out after about 7 months of using them. I gave a 4 star because they are sort of heavy and make my feet look huge, not all shoes do that even though my feet are a size 11. That size fit perfect.

I was shocked when I got these. They fit me perfectly and it was super light and comfortable to hike up the mountain on.

I almost gave up on these. The material where the tongue meets at top near the ankle was folded in and was extremely uncomfortable but I trained it to fold out. It took awhile to figure out how to tie them in a way they were comfortable at the ankle. They have a tendency to tighten up after a few steps. I think another speed hook (or two) would be helpful. After walking approximately 12 miles or so on the treadmill (you can't return them if they're dirty) I decided they will work great for my hike in Maine later this year and took them out to a changeling trail near home and they were amazing! Wiggle room for my toes without my feet sliding around, great arch support and my feet were happy. So, I'm very glad I didn't give up on them!!

I tried a couple other brands, but came back to Merrell even though this was not exactly like my previous pair. My feet are getting bigger with age so my last 7.5 began pinching my toes, esp. on the downhill. I went with the 8 and they are a bit bigger than I like, but with heavier socks and tightening the laces I have enjoyed walking my dog in them. Have held up to step-offs in the snow (feet stayed dry). Good traction and like the support they give.

Fits a wee bit small and could have a bit more ankle support but great value.
