These things are great. My feet are flat and these make them feel good. I don't heat them up, just let them wear in. If you got a good pair of shoes/boots but need more support, try these. Better than anything, for basically the same price, at the drug store. I've used these for years, back when they were just Montrail. Just beware Columbia really, really, really likes sending emails. My only complaint.

These insoles relieved my plantar fasciitis. I have a pair in each of my running shoes and casual shoes. Simply astounding.

This is the best I've tried so far. I have plantar fasciitis. I needed it be be fairly firm, not too flexible. It is. Previous types were firm with no cushion or too soft with no firmness. This strikes a right balance for me with the right amount of arch support. I would definitely buy this again.

This has changed the way I feel about shoes, I walk over 5 miles daily at work, this insole makes all the difference in how my feet feel at the end of the day. LOVE THESE!!!

I love love love these insoles! I bought a pair for myself, and then bought a pair for my partner, who has a very physical job and walks at least 25,000 steps a day. He also loves them!

I was introduced to these footbeds when I had plantar fasciitis! I say had because now I'm pain free because of these footbeds. They have enough support to align my feet so the healing could begin. I have purchased six pair so I can have them in my golf shoes, barn boots and everyday shoes. I've washed them and the first pair I bought two years ago are still supporting me like the pair I bought this week. I am so grateful that Columbia builds such wonderful products . Thankful I can walk pain free again!

Plantar Fasciitis was the diagnosis....'stop running' was the recommended solution. After 25 years of running...I was desperate for another solution. My research lead me to these insoles...what a Life Saver! Pop them in the oven?? Could it BE that simple?? Yes!! In the oven for a few...then on your feet to conform to the most perfect support!! My plantar fasciitis literally disappeared!! And the only time it rears its ugly head is when its time to get new insoles (usually once a year for me). I tell every foot injury sufferer I know about these gems and will continue singing their praises as I run my way into my golden years!!

Great insoles that last!

These are the first Thermo Soles I've ever bought. I gave up on premium soles like superfeet years ago because they were overpriced and did not deliver enough performance or durability. Columbia makes top notch stuff so I was happy to give these and the yellow ones a shot. As others have mentioned they run a little small so order one size higher, maybe more and trim if you must since they shrink a little when you heat them. Yes, the edges wilt a little, but no real damage. The black ones offer a sleeker, less support design, while the yellows offer a thicker, extra support design at the arch and heel area. I like both. I'm always on my feet 11 hours or more daily and they are holding up nicely.

My husband loves wearing these insoles in his trail running shoes. Very easy to mold!

I have 9 pairs of shoes. The are all from Columbia and they all have the Montrail foot beds. That should tell you something.

I bought my first pair of Montrail insoles in 2008 when backpacking at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. They lasted for several years moving them day to day from hiking boot to work boot to running shoe to dress shoes to my dress cowboy boots. After three years I gave them to my oldest son, first we put them back in the oven 200 degrees for two min. (they get hot and soft) then he quickly put them in his boots and laced them up and stood flat footed on a hard floor motionless for a couple of minutes while they reshape to the exact shape of the bottom of his foot. Once they cool they are reformed for his feet. He used them for at least 4 more years. I have bought over 5 pair until Montrail went out of business. Then to my joy I found where Columbia bought them out. I bought three more one for me and my other sons. When ordering they will shrink slightly in the oven so if your foot is size 11.5 get the 12. When I am trying on a pair of shoes or boots to purchase I first pull out the cheap insoles they come with and put in my Columbia Montrails. Amazing! If you run or are on your feet a lot or have back problems you will love these.

These are very comfortable, and I am using them without heating to form.

I went thru trials with many other types of support in my shoes, that really didn't work? Then I found the Montrail insole!!! I have worn out Five of these foot beds now, and recommend them to anyone that will listen how great they are!

This is my third set of this moldable insole. It fits nicely in my shoes and can be molded to match the arch of my foot. It makes any shoes I use it in more comfortable and supportive. My only suggestion is to make clear that when ordering this comes in men's sizes. You have to adjust down for a woman's shoe size.

These insoles work great for me because they are moldable and most insoles cause me foot pain. I'm also dealing with plantar fasciitis at moment and these insoles have helped.

Excellent insole. 280 lbs. playing basketball, insoles make a huge difference.

Not quite the high quality I was expecting. Hopefully better over the long term.
