Super lightweight, minimus, low profile on the ankle (shorter on the ankle than most athletic shoes), no arch support. Comfortable sides/top/back. Double wide (2EE) was more like 1.5EE, so we had to send it back for a longer length in order to get (hopefully) a bit more width..
I'd also recommend:

I normally wear Nike's in size 10 and most other brands in 9.5 but I do have wide feet. I ordered these in 9.5 wide and they feel perfect with socks on. Super light shoes as others have written. I haven't walked 100 miles on the fist day with these yet but they are very very comfortable.

I've got feet that measure at 9 1/2 and 10 1/2 (always a challenge to find shoes that work well) and I got 11 1/2 (my arches indicate this should be my size and my NB running shoes are that size) and they fit well for the purpose of cross training activities (definitely NOT for running). My foot is a bit wider and they do pinch a bit but with time becoming more comfortable - get wider if you need it. Really like the tongue as well.

These are my 3rd pair of New Balance Minimus and I'm not sure if it has something to do with the style, but previous 2 pairs were a 9.5, but I had to swap these out for a 10. I love that they arent super rounded off on the toe side of the shoe also.

I've had a New Balance 2E that was just slightly uncomfortable before - these pinched and started hurting within 10 seconds of lacing them up.

I love these. I got them for working out at the gym and for power lifts you need a flat bottom and these are perfect. Flat with just a little more support than Chucky Taylors or Vans. Also good for running.

Excellent running/training shoe. I have EE size feet and these were true to size. It's difficult to find a bigger shoe that is comfortable but these were great!

I love these. This is my 3rd pair of New Balance minimalist shoes over the past few years and so far these seem like the best ones yet. I went up half a size which now fits perfect and they're super comfortable. Walked around in them for hours and my feet still felt great. I really like the way the tongue wraps around the top of your foot and doesn't slide off to the side like most sneakers.

Wanted this to fit to replace my NB shoes but they are too narrow for my orthodics.

The shoe runs half a size small. I wear a 10.5 with enough room where my toes do not touch the front of the shoe, but with this one my toes touched the front. So my recommendation is to go up half size.

First of all: when they say "minimal", they MEAN minimal. These are the lightest weight athletic shoes I have ever worn. While the Vibram sole is extremely thin and the material is minimal, the shoes provide a surprisingly high level of support. I am a group fitness instructor and have been using these both for weight training and cardio, including a lot of jumping around and lateral movement. They feel just as supportive, if not more so, than my previous pair of shoes, which were much bulkier Reebok Crossfit trainers. I also like that the material of the shoe dries out quickly, as I often have multiple classes in 24 hour periods, so having shoes which aren't constantly wet with sweat is also a nice plus. I have only had these for a few weeks, so I can't speak to their durability over the long haul, but if these survive six months, I will be happy. Finally, these really look sharp. The "burrito tongue" took some getting used to, but now I love it.

Overall I am happy with the shoes. They are a little big but I compare sizes based on Nike.

I really love new balance minimus shoes but they have changed them a lot. The shape of the shoe is different and I don't like the attached tongue. I don't find it more comfortable. I really wanted to like but had to return. They should go back to old style.

Very good looking minimalist shoe. Unfortunately the shoe fit much tighter than I expected.

Positives: The shoes are extremely light and have a thin sole (which I prefer). The tongue design is great - it doesn't move and is very comfortable. Negatives: I'm a little bit bow-legged (supination) and there is support/padding on the outside of the shoe that is uncomfortable. I'm going to give them a chance to see if my gait adjusts or the padding softens but it can be painful after wearing them for a while. When standing in front of a mirror, there is a visible difference in the way my feet and knees rest. It looks like my feet are rolled inward and my knees are caving in.

SO NARROW! I ordered the 2E, and the shoe was still less than 2 inches wide at the arch. If you have very narrow feet, and very high arches, this might be the shoe for you, but not anyone else.

First off I wanted to love these shoes but I had to return them. Here are the good and bad for me. Positives: - Full length sticky Vibram sole - Low profile and flexible - Zero drop - Lightweight - Nice looking Negatives: - Toe box is too narrow - I tried both the medium and wide versions, they are actually the same width in the sole, the only difference I noticed was the wide has a more voluminous upper, I guess so the foot can spread out - Very narrow mid foot compounded by the bumps in the sole and mid-sole - This was the deal breaker for me, the “bumps” in the mid-sole on both the inside and outside of the shoe were very uncomfortable and dug into the bottom of my foot Ultimately, I decided to return this shoe due to the width issues. As a side note, I have a pair of the Minimus 10v1 trail shoes and they fit very well. I wish New Balance would use the same last for the next version of the MX20.

For at least the last five years I have only worn sets of New Balance Minimus 10v1s for running, hiking, and exercising which speaks to my love of minimalist footwear. For whatever reason the MX20v6 has a lot more padding around the heel and significantly more arch support - both of which I don't want or need. This may be the right design for some people but for those accustomed to the 10v1 it'll probably feel too clunky. I was attracted to the bright color scheme of this shoe but overall it feels completely different than the 10v1. I returned them and am buying another set of the 10v1s.

Not very good for X-training, just casual walking maybe? Feels big in size than my normal, but very light weight.

My last pair of MX20v4 is showing age; I need a new shoes. I wear 9.5 EE or wider when available. I got MX20v6. They are visibly narrower and shorter than v4. They feel narrower but somewhat manageable without socks. But then there is burrito tongue. Somebody has to be fired for this invention because tongue edge cuts into feet easily and it became quite painful experience after just a couple minutes walking stairs. Returning these and I feel very disappointed.

Literally the worst shoes I’ve ever owned. No arch support whatsoever, the heels are so flimsy and weak that they can’t even hold up to my running. I’m a pretty large guy (6’5, 230) but still, I’ve never had this much dissatisfaction in my life from a pair of shoes. I kept them at first because I thought “oh, I just need to break them in”. Now, 2 months in, I don’t think I can get a return and they’re still not comfortable. So displeased that this will be my last pair of New Balances ever. Sorry guys, you just lost a lifelong customer with these pathetic piles of synthetic materials.

I tried these because I was looking for an alternative to my old Vapor Gloves, but after wearing them for 1 minute had to take them off due to the foot I had one of these shoes on screaming bloody murder - I couldn't really wiggle my toes without feeling the stiff material of the upper area, something dug into the middle area of my flat feet the way no shoe has done before... Honestly, I've never worn a more painful shoe in my life?? You might have better luck with these than I did if you prefer stiffer shoes and have more need for extreme arch support, but otherwise... My advice is to avoid these like the plague!??
