This is so sad. This shoe is really cute and the colors are great -- I ordered both the olive/sage and red brown/powder, and I loved them both. The shoe fits the way I expected -- I have wide feet and Keens Medium width is usually fine. It's basically flat and easy to walk in. I loved it. EXCEPT... There is something weird with the footbed. Along the edge behind the big toe, there are ridges cut into the footbed and my feet rub on them with every step. The edge of the ball of my big toes turned red. OW. If you have a narrow foot, you might not ever feel it. There's also something funny about the workmanship or the quality control on these shoes because the perforated part wasn't sewn evenly on some of the shoes, and one pair gapped across the instep on one foot.

I love these shoes. I bought them for travel. I walked all day (8-12 miles per day) in Spain, Portugal and Morocco where it was pretty hot. They very comfortable, kept my feet reasonably cool but also protected my feet from dust and rocks on all the cobblestone. They did get a bit smelly but when I got home I took the insert out and washed it and they are again fine! I'm buying another pair in a different color. Great travel shoes!

These are odd little shoes. I love KEEN shoes and wear my Presidio daily. I also have the Kaci. Both of those styles are very supportive and sturdy. Unfortunately I missed out on the Presidio Maryjanes before they were discontinued. I think the support on those would have been awesome. That being said, since I was looking for something of a "dressier" nature, I chose these. They definitely are dressier but lack support or sturdiness. Those of us with bad feet or bad backs still need the support even in dressier shoes. I'm keeping these because they're comfortable enough (and actually quite cute) for the occasions when I will need them but I could never walk further than from the car or across a room. They fit quite "spaciously" across the middle of the foot but the elastic straps are enough to compensate them falling off or gaping any further than they do. The outsoles squeak horribly when walking across a non-carpeted surface; like wet soles on linoleum or tile. But again, they will serve their purpose when I need them. They are absolutely the best of what's out there for an alternative. I would also like to add that I wear custom orthotics in all my shoes. They do fit well in these but don't add much overall support to the shoe itself. They do, however, allow me to be more supported and comfortable when I wear these shoes.

I absolutely love keens and these are my favorites! The look neat but I can wear them all day long and my knees and hips don't hurt.

Wish I could say I love these,but I can't.First time I wore them which was all day,I got a blister and my feet hurt. Wanted to like them so I gave them another chance,this time I only wore them a half day,seems okay.I found that if I only wear the East Side for no more than four hours they are wearable,beyond that I have issues.Wish I had returned them.

I love these shoes. They have a very nice support. I am just waiting for the elastic in right foot to stretch a little more. I have a wider foot and my right foot seems to give me problems. Keen shoes tend to be a little wider so they work great for me.

These are definitely cute. They are very easy to slip on and go. They go with pretty much everything. These e leather is really soft which is a down side because there is nearly nothing to hold your feet in. The soles are very thin and it feels like you are walking right on the pavement. The insoles are removable but my superfeet were too tall for the sides of the shoes and poked out big time.

I am a loyal Keen brand customer, so when I ordered two pairs of these I did it with confidence they would fit and be comfortable. Everything Keen makes fits and is comfortable. Good quality shoes. But these are terrible! The material squeaks when I walk on the hardwood floors. Really, really noisy! And there is absolutely no arch support. I don't have bad arches. But you need to have shoes designed for feet - which have arches, generally. There is none with this design and the bottom of the shoe is very thin. Keen, how could you allow such a shoddy product get through to the sales floor?! So disappointed.

This is a great comfortable shoe that can easily be dressed up or down. I have a wide foot and high arch and these are perfect!

These shoes are cute and comfortable! I originally ordered them in a size 9, the normal size I wear in Keen shoes. They were too large, so I exchanged them for an 8 1/2. They fit perfectly. I haven't worn them yet, but hope to get a lot of use out them this summer.

Love the style and color. I have owned many pairs of Keen shoes over the years however, these fit my narrow feet like they were a wide shoe. Would have kept them if it were not for that.

I am a huge Keens fan and wear Newport’s all summer and Kaci in the winter. I bought these to wear to work. I’m on my feet most of the time but still need a closed toe and business casual look. I really love how they fit. I have a long narrow foot and even though I have long toes, there is no toe cleavage. However, they don’t offer much support and after a few hours on my feet, the rubber end started feeling like it was pressing my toes too much. (Kind of like Keds always did when I was a kid). I felt like wearing these all day was kind of like wearing my Converse. They look great and are comfortable enough at first, but not an 8 hours on your feet kind of shoe. I will keep them but I won’t be wearing them to do a ton of walking in.

I really wanted to love these shoes! Very cute, seemed to fit. But they just were not comfortable to wear. There is something odd with the liner - it has an weird texture that does not feel good to my foot. Plus, I think they are too small, even though I usually wear a smaller size in Keen (thinking of my beloved Saratoga II's!), I think I would have done better with a half size larger. Then I would have been able to put a smooth inner sole in so my foot didn't contact that odd liner. Please Keen - make more Mary Janes but make them more generous in the toe box again, and more comfortable!

These shoes are extremely comfortable and are very easy to wear with just about anything. My only complaint is that they smell terrible after just a month of wearing them.

Love, love these shoes! The photos really don’t do them justice. I got them in brown, and the colors are rich and mellow. I thought the leather colors might be too contrasting, but they are quite complimentary. Last, but not least, the leather is soft and supple.

This is one of the cutest and most comfortable shoes I own. I purchased them in black and liked them so much, I bought them in reddish brown as well. Although I am not on my feet all day, I do wear them to work and my feet are comfy all day. They are nice and wide through the toe and flexible enough to conform to your feet. Love them.

This was my second pair of Keen red/brown Lower East Side shoes. I never wear them without getting compliments.

I love these shoes! I travel a lot and was looking for a shoe that is comfortable, stays on my feet while running through the airport, and doesn't look like an old ladies shoe (although I am one!) I can wear this shoe all day with casual jeans or slightly dressier ones. If you are looking for one travel shoe that you can wear many places, this is it.

Super comfortable shoes

These shoes are so soft and so comfortable! I have wide feet and they fit just fine in my normal size. I'm so glad I tried them.

I love these shoes so far! No trouble wearing them throughout the day. My foot tends to be narrow so they feel a little floppier they would on most humans but they're super comfy. Little bit of arch support and they don't seem stinky at all. Bonus!

Could this be love? I got these in Zappos’ usual record time. I need a pair like this to deal with my sensitive, aging feet. Although i find that Keens run large and they’re um, often plain, these are cute and comfy. I’ll put a liner in them because they are a bit too roomy, but i have happy feet in a nice, well cushioned shoe.

Exactly what I was looking for! I needed a comfortable shoe to wear to work. I was looking for something that could be worn with skirts, dresses or capris. These were so comfortable right out of the box, and cute too. They do squeak a little when you walk on wood floors, but I’m hoping that will stop over time!

I loved this shoe but it didn't work for me -- not enough support and just not the right fit. I am SO sad. They are very cute and would be comfortable if they were a better fit. A little short and a little wide
