What a wonderful shoe! Lightweight, supportive, comfortable. I know it's supposed to be a water shoe, but for me it is the perfect summer shoe, airy and cool. It has plenty of room for my built up orthotics, and is wide enough at the ball for my little bunions while narrow enough at the heel not to slip. The sole is both supportive and flexible. Almost like walking barefoot. It felt broken in within a couple of hours. The color of the Canteen/Malachite is more like taupe than either the Zappos or Keen websites show, perfectly neutral, with light teal-ish details. Thanks to both Keen for this shoe and Zappos for their terrific customer service!

Love these. They are light, supportive, and just-right roomy everywhere. My feet are kinda difficult and I baby them. I work a desk job with intermittent long stretches of walking or driving so my feet have a tendency to swell. Furthermore, I took a tumble last fall and broke my ankle badly, and had a handful of titanium hardware installed to put it all back together, so that one is tender and frequently swells even more. These shoes don't rub, bind, press, or hurt anywhere. They are wide enough for my toes to not rub against each other and the support is sufficient for my needs, which include short (2-5 mile) trail hikes and regular day-to-day use. Nice and stable, good deep tread, and really cute. Maybe pushes my foot toward underpronating just a hair but I actually need that small correction, but if you are already an underpronator, beware.

Fantastic! I have a pair of old Keen McKenzies which are falling apart but I refused to get rid of them. I wanted to buy another pair but I think they were discontinued. And then I saw that Keen came out with the McKenzie II and I just had to try them! I was not disappointed. They have a removable footbed so I am able to insert my orthotic for a custom fit. I wear these shoes when Im at home and for running errands in. They are comfortable and long lasting. I wear them with jeans, and Im considering getting a second pair in a different color. Thanks Keen for bringing back the McKenzie in an updated style! And thanks Zappos for outstanding service, as always.

These are really great shoes. I have very hard to fit feet. Wide at the toes, and a high arch. Normally I have to order wides, but Keens usually work for me. I love that they're mesh, and I can wear them barefooted or with socks (they aren't visible from the outside of the shoe). I ordered my usual size 8, and I have to exchange them for size 7 1/2. They felt quite big. I hope the smaller size fits.

I normally need a wide width women's shoe, but took a chance on these because of earlier reviews. I'm glad I did. They feel like slippers on my Fred Flintstone feet. If you have a normal to narrower width foot, I don't think these will work for you.

This show is perfect for my trip to Africa. It’s very comfortable. I did have to insert an orthodic to give me the arch support I need (I have a high arch).

Bought these for a camping/hiking trip. They were light enough to keep my feet cool but sturdy enough to hiked over some rough terrain. I specifically bought these because other reviews said the toe box was wide. I really like that type of footwear . They worked great and I am very pleased with my purchase.

These are cute, could pass as summer sneakers if you wanted them too. They have some arch support, but not as much as Keen Tarheggee's that I LOVE. They are neutral and would go with anything. The toe box is large, but for me they'll have to go back, the side strap hits my "start of a bunion wrong" and would rub if I wore them all day. It's too bad, I really wish these would have worked.

I normally wear 6.5W to 7M, but I ordered in 6.5M since reviews stated these Keens run large and wide. This is true for me. These Keens are a light weight, mesh fabric and should be cool for walking around Washington, DC this summer. They have the same firm sole as my leather Keen hikers but with much less bulk and weight. The toe box is wide, and the extra length accommodates my longer right foot. I wouldn't call them stylish; they are a functional walking shoe, just what I need. I have only worn them here at home, and I do expect that they will perform well around town and in DC. They arrived on my porch just 30 hours after I ordered them. Great service and value!

These are actractive shoes for wide feet. They make my duck feet (wide in front, narrower heel) Very Happy!! And the heel doesn’t slip like many other wide width shoes. Another reviewer pointed out that they are really water shoes, but wears them as summer shoes and she was right. They are light weight and cool while providing enough support for all day wear. I may have to buy another color since I like them so much.

Really - you SHOULD get a whole size smaller. I usually am a 7.5 - Zappos recommended I go with a 6.5. I didn't listen - opted for the 7. WAY to big. Returning.

Could not have asked for a better hiking shoe! Light and airy, but still protective and supportive. I bought these for a trip to Sedona that my husband and I took in June. No breaking in needed! Felt great from day 1 on the airport and day 2 on our first hike of the trip. We hiked several trails in Sedona and then took a day trip to the Grand Canyon where we did another hike. Shoes held up great! No blisters, rubbing, etc. One thing I didn't try was how they felt in water. They have the water escape holes in the toe, but we were in AZ during the dry season, so there wasn't water to walk through. I'm sure I'll try it out soon now that we're back in Texas and I'm running around with the kiddos. I have never been disappointed by Keen!

Cute, lived the grey/maroon color. Going back. I get injections in ball if foot. These have no cushion, arch and too flexible. Run very big and wide

SO happy they brought this shoe back! I've worn my old ones to a frazzle. The upper in the tongue area is a little different I think and was harder to get my foot into but it might just be because they are new. Still excited to have this style back?

This is my third pair of Keens (different styles) and they are perfect for my trip to Spain. I wear dresses/skirts when I travel and these will be okay for my dress code. I need a sturdier shoe and opted for a "lace up". They aren't as clunky looking as I first thought and the gray color is a nice neutral. I will do a lot of walking and this shoe will definitely be kind to my feet. I am a true 9.5 and these 9.5 fit perfectly. My previous Keens walked through the Amalfi Coast and through out Greece. I appreciate Keens, and I also appreciate Zappos very generous mailing and return policy. Thank you Zappos!

Some have commented on the lack of padding on the new McKenzie. Its different, but does allow me to fold down the heel and use them like clogs when I want to do that. I'd actually like them to produce both versions!! The drawback I found was that the McKenszie II has a VERY long cord on it and the tongue moves around a lot. I'll make some adjustments and keep them though since they are comfortable

I am a Keen fan for sure. I was hoping these would be a little cuter than they are - the giant rubber toe cover is functional but a little unattractive. These felt true to size (Keens generally run wide which is perfect for me). Only other gripe is that the edge of the tongue cuts into the top of my foot a little bit but not enough to be a real problem.

I really liked these shoes but found that they pinched my toes ( unlike most keen's) so I am returning. I wear a 10 and have a C/D width but my little toes were uncomfortable after wearing around the house while trying to love them. I bought them for an upcoming vacation and I usually don't need to break in my Keen's. Style is cute, lightweight and very comfortable. Likely a better fit for someone with an average width foot?

Was hopeful they would work but the back comes up too high on the back of my foot and rubbed against my lower leg - and had I worn them around the house more than an hour I would have had a blister or worse.. Gonna have to return them.

I have worn Keens for years. I have wide feet and need the width and roomy toe box that the traditional Keen shoes have had. The McKenzie II has the same fit that I need.

I really wanted to enjoy these but my heel slipped all over the place. Also, when I tried to cinch in the shoe tighter, it rubbed along the bone on the out side of my ankle (lateral malleus). The toe box is wide, which I wanted, but the heel width just wouldn't work.
