I was so happy to see a replacement for the Coronado! These shoes are super cute (love the textured fabric) but unfortunately, they don't fit as wide as the Coronado - I have arthritis in my big toe joint and this new style is not as roomy at the toe as the Coronado was. Ouch! So sad to have to send these back! Keen was the only stylish non-athletic shoe sneaker that fit my wonky foot.

I have tried many sneakers of this style and only Keen gave me the width through the toes that I need. The insert provides a lot of cushion, so I was loathe to take it out and insert my custom orthotics. If you don't need extra arch support the Keen insole is great. Love the look and the two choices of shoelace color. I went with the darker and they look great. I realize I now own Keen hiking boots, casual sandals, sport/water sandals and now sneakers. I guess I'm keen on Keen.

Love these shoes! Typically I can not wear this style of shoe...I either find them too narrow, too clunky, no support, look huge on, or just no cushion. These were perfect. Nothing rubbed, the toe box felt wide enough, they look super cute and are very comfortably cushioned. If you haven't bought Keens before you do need to know to order 1/2 size up from your usual size.

I love these sneakers! They run true to size (I wear a 10.5), and are roomy enough for my toes to move. I got these for a trip to Colorado, and may end up getting the white as well!

i liked this shoe a lot! i've worn my keen coronados do death and i totally regretted not buying them in black and was soooo stoked that they made this shoe. not quite as broad at the toes as the coronado, but for this wide-footed lady they are still great. totally recommend them!

These shoes are VERY cute! I have wide feet and they are not too tight. I will need to supplement the arch support. These are keepers??

Finally! A loafer/sneaker with a wide enough toe box. Cute and comfortable. Very grateful for my Keens.

I bought these 'sneaks' in Black and they are great. Fit is terrific, good toe room, nice arch support, wide enough for my W width feet, and the black and white sets of shoe strings is a plus. I wear a 6.5B in an opened style shoe (sandals, or open-toe flats), but need a 6.5W when the shoe is closed. I read some of the reviews and tried the 1/2size up suggestion from many and very glad I did. If I were not going to wear socks with these shoes my 6.5W would have been just fine but I wanted to wear socks, thus a 1/2size up was perfect! Thank you again Zappos. You always take care of your customers.

I love these cute, casual shoes! Can't wait to order in more colors! The wide toe box is great for wider feet. My toes can actually move in there!

I have really enjoyed these shoes so far! Very cute and much more comfortable than converse. I need a wide toe box so I typically buy a half size bigger in Keene to give my toes more room.

I have never bought and worn a pair of Keen’s that did not feel comfortable right out the box. I purchased these to take on vacation where I wanted style, comfort and support. These are adorable for sure however, the fabric and lace grommets rubbed my bone on big toe causing bruising and blisters within an hour. So sad because I love the brand in general. Vionics were a better fit for comfort but not as sporty~~`

So, these looked cute in the Zappos video and Keens usually work for me and I was getting desperate in my search for a casual sneaker BUT they went back. These look super wide on because the side flaps that hold the laces don't come up very high. The toe cap on these looked like clown shoes to me. And the KEEN logo on the tongue was a little much.

I LOVED the Coronado and was very disappointed that I could not buy another pair. (I wore my first pair for...six years or more and until they absolutely could not be worn any longer.) The "Elsa" looked like it would be very comparable. But the fit is not the same; it is narrower than the Coronado and despite buying the shoe in the same size as my Coronados, this shoe does not fit the same. (Yet my other pair of Keens, a half size larger, is much too big.) It'd be great if the sizing were consistent across styles. My heel rubs against the shoe; I cannot lace them up so that the sides of the shoe are not so far apart (this is not so much a commentary on my foot as the design of how far apart the tops of the shoe are made to be). I'm disappointed and want another pair of Coronados! If your feet are wide, these won't work. The Coronados did work with wide feet. I'm also suspicious that they wouldn't work with skinny feet either. If you have mythical "perfect" feet and don't mind how far apart the sides are when you lace them up, they're for you.

I bought these Keen’s in white for an 8 day trip to Europe after reading the many positive reviews about how comfortable they are. I was not disappointed! I wore them almost everyday, walking 15-26k steps per day. They are so comfortable and cute, too. I ended-up giving my almost new converse away because they are too painful to wear for any amount of reasonable walking. Blisters galore! I’m so happy with Keen and will be getting other colors, too. If you’re looking for a cute and very comfortable replacement to chucks, Keen is the way to go. Also, mine fit very true to size. I’m an average width size 8 and they fit great! Highly recommend!

This shoe is very cute and comfortable. However, I have plantar fasciitis and was hoping (based on reviews that I had read) that they would be supportive enough for me to wear as-is. I did not find this to be true. For me, these shoes would require a different insole with more support. The insole that comes with the shoes is certainly more supportive than - for example - the insoles inside of Converse (which is basically no support at all). And for someone with no feet issues, these shoes would likely be very comfortable. However, if you require extra arch support because of plantar fasciitis the way I do, these shoes may not be for you, unless you plan to remove the insole and use an orthotic or other insert. I will be returning these.

I really like lace-up sneakers in this style instead of the more athletic-looking kind. I like Converse, but they are very flat and I suffer at times from plantar fasciitis and usually wear some sort of orthotic. These are fairly supportive shoes and for me, the orthotic that only takes up half the shoe works best. These are comfortable and springy shoes, great for summertime and the green color is a great option.

Immediately comfortable out of the box. No break-in needed. So glad to get these since my Coronados were pretty worn out after wearing them constantly for a few years. These seem the same. Toe box is roomy. A great cool looking comfy sneak - and it came with black AND white laces! I might have to buy a second pair in another color.

Loved the look and the footbed of the sneaker. The back of the shoe rubs my achilles raw. I thought that I would be able to "break" them in, but now, six months later with a lot of wear (because they are super cute) I still have to wear a tough bandaid on my ankles to tolerate the shoe. They sewed a little tab on the back of the shoe and the stich squared off the back side so it doesn't wrap around the back of the foot. This is the only pair of Keens that I have disliked. I am trying to crunch the back to soften it, just wish they would have put the padding on the inside and not the outside.

I really like these but they will take some breaking in. The heal rubs so I will have to wear short amounts of time at first. I have wide feet and these work for that. I bought a half size bigger to account for wide feet but they were too big, so I returned and got my regular size.

I really like this shoe for several reasons. It is super cute with enough cushion to keep the soles of my feet (padless) from hurting without being clunky. Wide enough toe box as is with most Keen shoes. The volume of the toe box however is not great but thankfully I don't have have volume toes. Think of Allegria that kind of pushes on your toes from the top. There is a little bit of arch support but I will probably have to add my own. There is a little rubbing on the back of the heel that will need breaking in to soften and avoid getting a blister. These "converse style" sneakers are much better than any others that I have tried including Taos and the first pair I have been able to keep. I typically wear a very cushioned athletic shoe like Brooks or Hoka because most shoes hurt my feet. I am very happy with my purchase.

Was thrilled to find these cute sneakers that fit well, too. And the materials and construction are high quality. Pretty sure they'll last awhile. Glad the insoles are removable so I can use my orthotics. These are roomy, especially in the toe box. If your feet are medium width and you prefer cushioned socks like I do, they're perfect, but if you have narrow feet or wear thin socks or go barefoot in your sneaks, they might be too roomy. I like that they came with two choices of laces: white and black.

replace meant for the old coronado. I have 2 pair - one white, one black. the white doesn't rub the heel, but the black ones do. zero arch support, so replace with a good insole. still the best option for this type of sneaker for those of us that need a little extra width in the toe box

I wanted to love these as much as the Keen Elsa slip-ons, but the lace-up version isn't nearly as comfy as the slip-on version. They are super cute and unlike Chucks, they don't make my feet look huge (and they don't kill my feet the way the Converse ones do). I think these would feel fine if I wore them with socks, but then they'd lose the cute factor.

I generally love Keen brand shoes. However, this sneaker feels like it may have been manufactured by a third party company. The fit was fine- the usual roomy toe box is great, but the fabric 9including the inside sole) is stiff and inflexible, and slightly bumpy. This is mainly a problem if you're not wearing socks. I ended up going for the black Teva 'Freewheel', one half size up from my usual size. The fabric is comfy and flexible, the arch support better than in the Keene (which might take a little getting used to). I love them right out of the box and have worn them constantly for the two days since they arrived.

Super cute for summer! Like most Keen shoes, arch support is middle of the road. Comfortable enough for a few hours wear but definitely not all day.
