I have a particular foot issue that was caused by a doctor thinking every case of plantar fasciitis is caused by over=pronation. So after orthotics with extreme arch support that were made to correct over-pronation, I ended up with a new issue. Turns out I do not over-pronate, quite the opposite. So my search began for a shoe with very little heel-to-toe differential, only mild to moderate arch support that was wide enough to accommodate my now messed up 5th metatarsal. I had worn the Keen Voyageur for years so when I saw this shoe I rolled the dice on it. After receiving it the next day (love you Zappos) and slipping my foot into it, I immediately ordered another color as well as the Elsa lace-up model. I cannot tell you how wonderful this shoe feels. My big toes, which were both broken years ago, do not hurt at the joint, my os peroneum and peroneal tendonitis disappeared after 5 days of wearing these exclusively and I wake up in the morning, put my bare feet on the floor and feel zero pain or discomfort. The lace up model needed stretching at the ball of the foot area due to my arthritis there, but as long as I don't lace them tightly they are fine. I find the slip-on model to feel more cushy and supportive for some reason. The removable footbeds are the same, so it must be in the actual structure of the shoe that makes them feel a bit different. Take a chance on this shoe ladies.

I can't say enough about how comfortable these shoes are. I have arthritic feet and a great shoe is hard to find but keen has done it again. The other reviews about the back being stiff are correct but I just have bent it in a few times and it is getting better already. I will probably be buying more colors as I love how great these are!!!

Love, love, love these sneakers! They fit so nicely my duck feet. I have wide feet and I know Keen is great with my feet. Usually I need to order 8.5 if the shoe doesn't have W but with Keen I can order 8. The back is a bit stiff, so I will add the soft heel pads. The insole is removable and I could put in my orthotics but I don't need to do that... these insoles are nice and thick. Super comfy! The only downside is the white strip on top of your toes. If it would have been flat it would have make them perfect. But it has some kind of ridges and my husband said it looks like the shoes have teeth. Now when I look down all I see is teeth. If you can get over the teeth, then definitely get these shoes. I will, because the comfort is the most important feature for me.

I love these shoes. They are so darn cute! I have wide feet, bunions, and ordered a size 8, I usually get a 7.5. The fit is perfect, no heal slipping at all. I have a Morton's neuroma on left foot, I feel I need more cushion and support in that foot. Might not be too comfortable for all-day walking for me. But I will look for a solution. Giving a 4 for comfort due to this. I highly recommend these adorable shoes!

I love these shoes and have ordered them in several colors. I normally wear 10 but in these I ordered my first pair in 10.5 and they fit great. The second pair (different color) in 10.5 were too long so I ordered a 10 and they fit. Really cushy, nice wide toe box, very cute toe design.

They felt heavier to my liking but so cute in style!! They're quite comfortable, and I've been wearing them whole summer with no problem. Last week, walked a little too much in them and hurt the nerve of my heels (the back strips of the shoes are pretty hard). My heels aren't healed yet, and Now I'm scared to wear them. :-((

I'm bummed that this shoe is too wide for my foot because it's a beautiful pink color (brighter than I thought it would be, in a good way) and the insole is obviously very cushioned and supportive. They feel both wide and too long for my regular size. I have a very slightly narrowish foot that usually fits width M, but not in this case. They seem really well-made and are cute! They also have a nice rounded toe box that would be good for bunions. But back they go.

I like the sneakers- they fit fine and the price was good - I have-nerve pain in my feet from chemo - so finding shoes that do not hurt or press down on the top of my feet is a plus!

Based on other reviews and recommendations I bought up one half size. Big mistake. They were too long and too wide. I am returning for my correct size.

I got the Brindle color and it is a great Kakki color but no, green hue. It is very neutral, darker than a tan. It's great with any color jeans or shorts. Extremely comfortable. The heel slips up and down and if you have a narrow foot, might go down a size. The rubber Keen toe is always a plus for me and even though it is a size 10, it has a very small profile and makes my foot look smaller than it is. It does run slightly larger that my other Keen's. I'm not sure the 9 1/2 would have fit as well. If I get a 2nd pair, I'll try the 9 1/2 . There are other colors than are being offered through Zappo's. I'll be looking to see if Zappo's gets the other colors. It is a classy deck show and look very nice. I'm very happy with my Brindle, Keen Elsa Slip-On.

Love this Keen Elsa slip-on. I ordered an 8 1/2 and a 9. I kept the 8 1/2. I have bunions and heel problems. The toe box is nice and wide the heel is a little stiff, but not so much as to cause a problem These are very comfortable.

I love everything about these puppies! They are cute, but lots of shoes are cute and that's never been enough for me. I want comfortable AND cute, and these deliver on both. The toe box is roomy without being sloshy, there's enough support for a kick-around-town shoe, and I like that they come in a variety of colors. They did scrape a little at the heel for the first few wearings, so I added heel cushions (cheap and awesome!) and the shoes quickly became my everyday favorites. I hope Keen dosen't change them because they're just right.

Love them! 48 yo and think they look great with jeans. No arch support, but enough padding to make up the difference. Very comfortable.

I bought these shoes to wear on a trip abroad next month and I'm loving them so much I'm back for another pair. I'm a die-hard Keen wearer, but was a little nervous about the white bit on the toe. It turns out to be really cute and adds to the sporty look. For most things these are totally comfy without socks, but I went on a long walk in hot weather to simulate our trip plans and when my feet got sweaty I felt like I could get blisters on the soles of my feet. I'm buying some no-show socks, which should take care of that.

These shoes were huge. I normally am between an 8 and an 8.5, so I ordered both sizes. The 8 was large in every way, really wide and much too long.

these are cute shoes but I wear an 11 and these shoes were prob one full size too large. So I guess you could say they run large.

I had to get this one size down as no 12s available. I had read it ran large. It probably does. 11 is a bit snug on me, but I have faith they may stretch just a bit. Regardless, they are still incredibly comfortable and cute shoes! I love them and wear them all the time (and don't experience too snug shoe issues...even without socks!). I also love Keens for how they wear. Old shoes still look like they have very little wear. Hoping that craftsmanship applies here too and they wear well a long time. I'll be able to get years of use from them! (Unlike my previous Skechers go walks that fell apart after about a year.)

I was looking for a casual, flat black shoe and was very excited to find Keen had one! I LOVE Keen shoes because of my long feet, high arches, and a need for a wide toe box. These shoes are very comfortable to wear around town on my daily errands or chase the kids around the park.

Very cute and comfortable. They are not the most stylish but they look cuter on than in the photo. Definitely size up 1/2 size. The shoes are very comfy moderate support insole and a good sole. The heel is a touch wide for my narrow heel. The toe box is roomy in width and height. They are a little roomy on the sides of my feet. In the end I had to send them back because if I size up, my narrow heel won't stay in when I'm chasing down my two 2 old. I'm getting lace up shoes instead. Keens have always seemed to run a 1/2 size short for me. wish I didn't have to let them go!

These shoes are so cute! They do run small so I ordered up a half a size. So glad that I did. They fit perfectly. I have plantar fascists so I put my own insoles in the shoes.

These felt more narrow than what I’m used to with my other keen shoes. Not the most comfortable but they are cute. They may need a longer break-in period .. hopefully using an insole will increase comfort. Not good for being on your feet all day but maybe that will change with more wear. Otherwise, I like the shoe.

I love a canvas shoe for summer. These are comfortable and the length was right for my normal size, but because they are kind of boxy and my foot is kind of narrow, when I walked my heel went up and down in the shoe like a flip flop. I tried an insole and a little stick-on heel thing that I got at cvs, but it didn't solve the problem, so I had to return them.

I've worn a lot of Keen shoes with great success. I bought my regular size and a half size larger figuring I might wear one pair barefoot and one with socks..........but here are the problems I had with both of these sizes. The toe box is rigid since it is encased in the heavy white rubber so if your toes fit in there it should be OK but for me, there wasn't quite enough room and my toes got smushed. There is no breaking in a toe box like this - it is fixed. The other issue is that since the entire shoe is rigid, it doesn't bend as you walk and they tend to slip off the heels with each step. I tried to remedy this situation with several weights of socks to test but nothing worked and besides the heavier sock I used, the tighter the room in the toe box became. I really loved the look of these shoes but the just didn't "work" for me.

I did not have luck with theses they hurt my feet from the start - but I thought I could break them in - that did not happen! So I am stuck with shoes I wore that Icant wear any longer because of how much they hurt my feet!
