I got these shoes for the summer- for dog walks and river activities both! I’ve always loved Keens, and I loved the way they fit. They kept my feet protected and cool (cooler than sneakers) and did dry really well and quickly during canoeing. HOWEVER... the sole is not durable at all! The light gray part of the sole was wearing down really quickly, until the other day I discovered a hole in the bottom! I bought these in May, and it’s August now. For the amount of money I paid for these shoes, I would have thought they’d get me through a summer. And I exclusively wore these on dog walks and water activities only, not as all-day everyday shoes. I’m really sad these didn’t make it. I guess they couldn’t stand the south Texas heat! My suggestion- buy these for light water activities, not for summer sandals if you want them to last....

I have a very, very hard time finding shoes that don't hurt my toes. These don't hurt, cover my ugly toes, and still look like a sandal. I was able to be on my feet all day standing and walking in the women's March in Austin, and never felt even a twinge of pain. Please consider more color choices for this style. And thank you, thank you!!

I looked high and low for a sport sandal that didn't look too bulky and frumpy. I tried the Keen Whisper and Newport Eco. Both too bulky and unattractive (in my opinion). I loved the Keen Bali Strap -- I liked that the straps were nylon on the Bali Strap (instead of a faux leather on the Rose). Nylon would be better for getting wet. But the Rose has much better treads on the bottom than the Bali strap. Also, my foot slid around a little more in the Bali Strap vs. the Rose. Basically, I preferred the look and nylon straps of the Bali Strap but needed the treads and a sturdier fit, so the Rose was the winner. This is the cutest show ever. So lightweight and comfortable right out of the box. Highly recommend. Great travel shoe.

I tried these at the urging of a friend. I wear a 7.5EE, have a high instep, and assume that nothing not explicitly marked that will fit. These are _great_. I wear them 5-6 days a week, all day, and throw them in the washing machine when they get funky. I want more of these!

WOW! These are probably the most comfortable shoes/sandals I've ever owned. I was a bit nervous about purchasing these without trying them on as I know some people have had issues with their baby toes sticking out, but because Zappos return/exchange policy is so awesome, I gave them a shot. I am not disappointed. These were comfortable right out of the box and I didn't have to break them in at all - no blisters, nothing. I love that you can adjust both straps on these. Perfection! I have told so many people to buy these. I am on my feet most of the day and my feet don't even get remotely sore. I initially bought these for a trip to Colorado but these have become my everyday sandals. I love them so much!

This is my second pair!!! Super comfy right outta the box. There needs to be more ankle velcro, or shift the placement as I'm almost out of room due to my high arch. I like being able to adjust behind the ankle. I just recently tossed my other pair in the washer as the footbed gets kinda clogged with dirt, and they came out great (air dried).

I ordered these sandals earlier this year to use them only for kayaking. However, I went on vacation last week and I ended up wearing them every single day. I was on my feet for 8-10 hours for several days in a row and my feet did not hurt one bit. They are super light. They were rubbing a bit in the back at first but I adjusted the straps and took care of the problem. I love the mixed use, being able to go into water with them and then back on dry land. I have only one problem: after returning from vacation and telling my mother how comfortable they were, she put them on and liked them so much that I had to gift them to her and now I have to buy another pair :-) My mother is a 75 years old with extremely sensitive feet, who is very picky about shoes.

Nice hybrid sandal. Sole is durable but still lightweight. Fits a wider foot without feeling tight. A little more arch support would move it to 5 stars.

I'm a big fan of Keen Bali (the original)- have 3 pairs. Needed something with straps for street wear and occasional kayaking and the other sandals (Venice, Whisper, Newport) were too covered up. This Bali strap version fits the bill perfectly, covering up my toes and bunions yet managing to look cute and not too clunky. Taking off 1 star because arch support is minimal; practically non-existent. The original Bali (no strap) seem to have more arch support than these.

I ordered 2 pair (The Keen Rose Sandal and this one, the Keen Bali Strap) and almost thought I might keep both but the Bali arch seemed less, the heel strap stuck out on the outside and my feet looked askew in them, so they are going back

Bought these for a destination wedding to Costa Rica. Ordered my usual 9.5 and they were true to size and comfortable right out of the box. Walked around all day without any irritation. Two adjustable straps make for a personalize fit. Ordered a second pair in another color.

Supper cute, seem comfortable but I haven't walked a distance in them yet. I'm replacing an old pair of Chaco sandals with these. I love the color! There is fabric across the toes which I think ads to the style. It doesn't get in the way for me, they're easy to put on and my toes don't poke out when I walk.

I have been wearing Keen Rose Sandals for years but this is the first pair of Keen Bali Straps and they are simply wonderful. They fit like a glove - I can wear them all day. They're also less sporty looking then the Rose sandals and go well with summer skirts and dresses. I hope they make them in more colors.

Little or no arch support, very uncomfortable insole with lots of bumps and pokey places. Thought this was a good choice, not so.

I simply love this style sandal! It protects my toes and is really cute. Of all the Keens I own this is definitely my favorite. It is slightly larger on me than the Keen Whisper in the same size and slightly wider, but I love them. The neutral Gray/Black is great for every outfit. I hope that Keen will make this sandal in a neutral Gray/dark Blue in the near future. I would surely buy them. They are great for traveling, and feel good right out of the box.

I love these new Bali Strap Keens! I needed to replace my old H2O/Newport style Keens and I saw these. I realized I never actually wore my Keens to do anything other than beach/canoeing/paddle boarding...lake type vacation stuff. These Balis looked appealing because I could wear them with sundresses, beach dresses, in and around the water, or even to work. So I ordered them, and they are SO comfortable!!! I was shocked at how much so! Very lightweight, soft straps but firm sole. Not sure I would hike in these too far (as I had in the old pair) as the sole seems thinner and more lightweight than the other styles. But these are definitely going to be a Keen I can wear more often, and with regular clothes. They would look appropriate and professional at my job (teacher) with a summer dress or bermudas when it's hot, but comfy to stand in all day as well. My ONLY suggestion would be Keen offer more of the neutral colors; the colors they offer are definitely fun! However, What stopped me from purchasing a second pair was that I already purchased black as the color to go with anything. The other colors, bright coral, red, turquoise, etc are just fun colors that maybe you would wear to the beach with your bathing suit or hiking or something like that. They wouldn't go with my outfits to wear around town or to work. If they offered colors such as navy, taupe, or an olive, I would definitely purchase a second pair as a practical shoe for everyday!

I bought these for my daughter. She's 7 and needed a good summer shoe that would let her run around and still have toes protected. She has worn these to school, climbing rocks and to church. This is a great style for an every day summer shoe!

These sandals are comfortable right out of the box and they look great! If you have worn Keen's before, they are true to size for Keen's. Love these sandals!

Loose in the toes but tight around ankles. Cute shoe but the black toe cap was symmetrical, leaving the polish from my pinking & text toe only showing which looked odd to me.. Very comfortable and seemed well made.

I absolutely love the Bali sandal line. Both of the shoes fit my foot perfectly. I wore the first pair of Bali Strap sandals I purchased a week later for five days at Disneyworld. The color (Radiance/Algiers) is vibrant and gorgeous. I've bought 8 different colors over the past few years. I have almost as many Bali Sandals (no strap). I bought this color twice. I wouldn't want to be without it. Oddly the Rose sandal line doesn't fit my foot well. It must be an either/or choice. I had people stop me during my last vacation to ask where they could get the Bali Strap sandal. How fun!

Absolutely order at least a half size smaller as this model runs large. That point aside, these are very comfortable and have excellent anti-slip soles.

This is my second pair of the Keen Bali in the same color. I ordered a half size down from my usual size and the fit is perfect. I also ordered the solid black but sent them back as the strap material on them is thicker and made them feel too narrow for me.

I purchased the Keen Bali Strap sandal in two colors in one size down from my usual 11M. I did so because several reviewers commented that they felt they ran a full size larger. I have had this same sandal in my usual size 11M for a year. Comparing those to the ones I just bought in 10M, I think they only run a half size too large.

Great sandal. Very comfy on first wear. Straps do not rub. Very happy with purchase.
