They had me at RED! I love red foot coverings, boots, pumps, sneakers, slippers all of them. I also love Sorel boots. I am sitting at my desk writing this review wearing my new RED Joan Rain Wedge. Rain is forecast for Wednesday I can't wait. One more excellent thing about these boots: I have large feet for my height; this wedge style makes my feet appear shorter.

BUY THESE! I have several pairs of Sorel wedge boots and they are all the MOST comfortable boots ever. They're very warm and waterproof with great traction. Great for mucky Michigan weather. I am typically an 8 but after reading the reviews I ordered a 7.5. They are fine but if I wanted to wear a thick sock an * would have worked, as well. I'd say they run very slightly small.

Most comfortable pair of boots I own. Warm enough for snow.

These shoes were a great fit, and so comfortable! It's been great to have them during this rainy weather.

These boots are THE BEST. I ordered these for the rainy season here in the South and I didn't want the same Bean boots as everyone else. These arrived this week and have far exceeded my expectations! The first thing about these that you should know is that they are very comfortable. Even with the wedge & rubber material, they don't pinch and are easy to walk in. The second thing is that the construction is so nice. The inside is lined with a padded mesh so you don't get the friction sore spots from your typical rainboots. They are also quite a bit warmer. Finally, I have gotten a million compliments on these (I have them in red and they stick out)! Everyone has said something nice, even men, and a few people have even asked to touch them. All in all, I highly recommend these to anyone. I was skeptical of a rain wedge (sounded like an oxymoron) but I have even done a 2 mile walking tour in the rain without an issue.

At first i was skeptical but after i paired them with an outfit i was in love! They are adorable and practical, very comfortable except the inside lining is kind of scratchy and i had pretty thick socks on. I had them on for about 3 hours running errands in a snow storm. Very sturdy and I didn’t slip or feel unsuported once. I ordered an 8 1/2 (my true size is a 9) based on other reviews and they fit perfect. I will definitely be buying another SOREL wedge in the near future!

I really wanted the green so I ignored my fellow reviewers and did not go down a half size. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE, FRIENDS! Had to send back the green/nori in exchange for the black but I am still happy because they are great boots. I think regular rain boots are hideous especially on giant feet like mine so these fit the bill perfectly for me!

I wear a size 7.5 or 8, but I typically lean toward 8 in closed-toe shoes and boots. I purchased the 8, and they are a half size too large. They are so comfortable and great quality that I considered keeping them, but my heel lifts slightly when I walk. My correct size is no longer available, so I am sad to say that I will have to return them.

I love these boots, they run large but I ordered a size smaller per the reviews. They are the cutest rainboots and very comfy. They are heavy but they are super soft and I feel like I'm walking on a cloud even after many hours on my feet. They can be squeaky when tied tight (rubber tongue rubbing on the boot shaft) but a small piece of fabric tape boot cured the squeak.

Still deciding! Definitely order a half size SMALLER than your usual. I will still need thicker socks for full comfort. I think it is a very army green. Almost too much military for me. I love sorel boots, I wear them to death. There were just way too chunky looking for my taste. Between the wedge, the wide throat at the bottom of your leg and the giant detailing, these looked enormous on my feet. Have to return them, going with the Joan of arc instead.

I love the style of most of the Sorel Joan boots so there is nothing but love for the way these boots look. I have wide feet and am usually a 9 in regular shoes but 8 or 8.5 in Sorel because they fit wide and run big. An 8.5 in these were still very roomy so I would definitely size down for these. I found them to be quite loose and a bit stiff around the ankle. The fact that the laces didn't stay tied very well also made them feel even looser. I probably could have gotten a smaller size but i found the inside mesh a bit chafing so I didn't want to try anything smaller. Overall with the right socks these booties are great. I love the way they look. They feel pretty comfortable for a heel. The wedge is narrow but solid enough to feel stable on even surface. I would still wear other boots for real mucking in the mud/ rain.
