This week I found out the hard and painful way that Brooks changed the Adrenaline shoes I loved last year to something that I can't wear after only 20 minutes/1 mile(thanks Zappos for being incredible)so this was my first foray into Mizuno. I really wanted to love these shoes, but ultimately there's something about them I can't put my finger on that precludes me from keeping them. I ordered both the 10s and the 10.5s because while I've traditionally worn 10.5s in running shoes, with the decreased padding in the uppers sometimes I've gone to 10s. In these, I went with the 10.5s to get the support system in the right place. It also took me about an hour to get these laced up so they felt right on my feet. After walking around my house for an hour or so in them, something on the inside of the side of the shoes (presumably part of the support system?) on both colors was cutting into my foot. Now, maybe this would go away or it wouldn't be an issue for someone who actually has an arch but I have 100% flat feet. I also have a narrow foot and found the width to be good without the need to cinch the shoe too much, so wide footed people might be out of luck here. The colors were exactly as presented on screen-bright vibrant blue and green as well as nice subtle teal and pink. All in all, if you're looking for a stability shoe you should give this a try. I happen to have pretty finicky feet and after having a failed running shoe once already this week, I'm finding I'm second guessing myself a lot more than normal. For the average person, this is a well made shoe that will support and is really good looking.

If you have been disappointed with the newer versions of the Mizuno Wave Inspire this is the shoe for you! It fits perfectly and is the most similar to the older Inspire that I loved. Very light with a slightly wider toe. You will not be disappointed!

Mizuno as a brand runs about a size smaller (sometimes more) than your true shoe size. They are very comfortable and well made and a handsome shoe. Just be aware that it is necessary to get a larger than normal size, by at least a full size.

This shoe is great. Both lightweight and supportive. Lasts well over 400 miles and comfortable for long runs (15+ miles). I've bought several pairs of the Wave Catalyst 2.

I have found Mizuno running shoes to be the most comfortable and best fitting running shoes for me, and have worn this brand exclusively for the last 10+ years. I had never had this model before, but figured they would fit in my usual Mizuno size. They are the best fitting pair I have had yet. I have flat, narrow feet. Comfortable right out of the box as usual! Glad I took the chance and bought 2 pair since they were on sale. I got the paradise pink, and I love the color.

Love the fit of Mizuno shoes. They are perfect for my wide feet and are comfortable the first time I wear them. In other shoe brands, I wear a size 7- 7 1/2, but in Mizuno shoes, I wear a size 8. I prefer the more muted colors, however, the newer shoe colors tend to be a little "wild." I am a walker so my shoes tend to last me a long time versus a runner who may need to replace shoes more often. Even with the wilder colors, I still love Mizuno shoes.

This is a great shoe for me. I have a 8.5B foot with semi-high arches and fine bones, somewhat wider forefoot. 9M in these fit just right. I loved them right away. I run 5K daily on hilly roads and prioritize cushioning, balance and stability. All are very good. They are light-weight and give good forward propulsion making me faster. They hold my foot with no restriction and no fighting reinforcing a straight gait. Quality looks very good. Most comfortable runners I've ever had (compared to Brooks, Saucony, Asics and Nike).

Size: 8 fit perfectly. I wear a size 7.5-8 but when running my feet swell slightly. This shoe is absolutely made to help you with your mechanics. I even have a bunion and this shoes fits nice on it, not tight.

I love my new shoes!! They are comfortable, stylish, super light, my feet don't get tired, and don't hurt my feet. I have some 5k's coming up soon and can't wait! I would buy another pair just to have two of them!!

These are awesome! Fun colors and price was great for a stability shoe. Did a short road run this morning and no complaints - typically wear a 9 in running shoes but given Mizunos can run even smaller, the 9.5 worked out fine!

I have flat feet and overpronate when running, Mizuno and this style in particular provide the best support and comfort during vigorous exercise.
