I wasn't positive at first if I'd keep these. But I'm so glad I did. Very soft flexible leather. Not a narrow shoe, but that's what makes them so comfortable. Your foot has room to spread out in them. I got them on sale so even better! I may have to order another color I've been wearing them so much! It does have a removable in sole if you want to put a custom one in.

Oh, how I wanted to keep this shoe and purchase it in multiples, it's so stylin'! But, I have a narrow foot and it was a great fit in width (take note if you do NOT have a narrow foot), but the toe box was really tight, felt like it would push down on my big toenail, and it felt a half-size too short. So sad, but these are going back.

I love Melanie Slip-on so much that I have purchased it in 3 different colors: black, navy (actually a denim blue) and camel. I wanted to round it off by having a light-colored version for summer wear. Unfortunately, "cream" is not exactly "cream" -- it's more of a light tan. "White" which I think is more of a cream color is out of stock everywhere. Just so you know!

I love these so much! They feel like slippers and look so cool. Definitely for wearing without socks though; size one half size up if you plan to wear socks or tights with them.

I usually take an 8 1/2 -9 depending on the shoe. 8.5 were definitely tight on these. 9's a bit loose but I'm keeping them. the shoe comes to a very slight point so I think that's were the extra length comes in. The Shoe is wide so plenty of room for your foot to spread out. Leather is soft. The top edge near the heel area bug me a little but I'm pretty confident the will soften. Hoping they don't stretch too much. they do have a removable cushioned foot bed. no arch support

I didn't find them as comfortable as other Frye shoes I've owned. I was disappointed. My toes felt squished on the top. Returned them immediately.

I have had the cognac Melanie for about 2 years wear them everyday size is true to size. Recently purchased them in the gray and red. I love these shoes. The leather wears great.

Recent purchase and love love LOVE these sneaks! You can easily pair these with business casual attire or dress down. These shoes are truly versatile and extremely comfortable. I'm usually a 7.5 and I ordered an 8. Size 8 was the perfect fit in this pair for me. I'm 5.2 and have chubby wide feet.

I bought these in a mustard color several months ago and love them. They are incredibly comfortable. I was concerned they would stretch out too much, but they've maintained their shape. I have a slim foot so they are a tad wide on me; the length is perfect. I've been wearing them in casual settings but they look nice enough to wear to the office too (on a more casual day). I'm looking to buy another pair soon! I would like to see more colors -- there used to be a turquoise color, and the mustard I bought looks to no longer be available. Not as into the crazy patterns though.

I own three or four pair of the Melanie Slip on. They are one of my favorite shoes. So very comfortable. I am unable to wear summer shoes w/o a back, so these have been wonderful for me.

I've had these shoes in burnt red for about 18 months now and they are so comfortable and versatile. I wear them as my driving shoes for practical reasons. But I also wear them for doggy walks, and as a pop of color with all sorts of casual outfits while out running errands as well as going out for a casual meal. The leather holds its shape well. I've worn them with footies as well as with thicker socks, and though the leather loosened up a bit, it's still comfortable and fits my feet well. These shoes run true to size but started out a bit snug around the toe box then loosened up pretty quickly. The rubber/sneaker bottom is wearing well but won't last years as I really do wear these shoes almost daily. I will definitely buy another pair when the time comes.

I love these shoes and wanted to keep them desperately. Just couldn't - there was a gap in the width. Every step I took they would open on each side. They look great but must be a design flaw.

This is my summer everyday shoe and I have it in 3 colors. My foot runs on the narrow side of medium, but I have no trouble with the shoe slipping on my heel and it gives me ample room on hot days when my feet swell. True to any espedrille style, there is not a lot of arch support but the shoe is very comfortable with some padding in the insole. The leather is fairly soft, so no break-in time is needed. The "grey" color is a great mid-tone neutral that runs more to taupe than what I would call grey. Even though this is a plain style, I get many compliments and as well as questions from my friends who are interested in finding a similarly casual, comfortable and classy summer shoe.

these shoes are really comfortable and look to be a nice walking shoe - although take note- there is no real arch support. I love the color - haven't yet decided for sure if I'll keep it, because it's SO neutral, it almost disappears on my foot and I can't decide if I like that or not. I'm trying out this one and "moonlight" and deciding between them. I love how Zappos will send me multiple shoes/sizes and let me try them out!

I got these shoes in green two years ago and just got the sparkly silver/tan ones. Both pair fit exactly the same way: very comfortable as long as you are willing to break in and stretch the achilles tendon and pinky toe areas (of the shoe). The style is great and the shoes feel fine both barefoot and with light socks. If you wear them barefoot though, you will hear a squeak when you walk in quiet places. By the way, Zappos rules! I live in Vermont, and I ordered these shoes at 5:00 PM on Monday and got them by noon on Tuesday.

Reading all reviews I could find, I ordered a 9 and a 9.5 in SunRise yellow color. My usual size is an 8.5-9 and the 9 fit really well. With winter cold weather here, I may not wear them for awhile, but at this sale price I have a cute pair of Spring slip ons to look forward to wearing. Look good with casual wear and jeans and could see them with a sundress in warm weather too. Found the pale blue ones on sale as well, and hoping they fit just as well when they arrive as these!
