The shoe fit as soon as I slipped them on. I have a very difficult wide foot to fit, so I was quite surprised when they did feel that good. I would generally buy new balance because of the 4e offered by them, but this 4e was and is great. Thank you for handling this shoe Zappos.

I size 11.5 and medium width, and the 11.5's CHOKE your feet. Can't walk without excruciating pain on outer edge of foot!! Ordered a size up and they still choke you, but now there's slippage in the toebox. Worst pair of shoes I have ever owned.

I bought these for my husband who wears a size 14 so it is difficult to find him shoes. He absolutely loves them. Very comfortable and great.

I purchased these shoes for my husband strictly based on the reviews. He has worn the same NB white sneaker for years so this was a stretch. Surprisingly enough, he is very happy with them. The wide width is wide enough and after a day of walking he said his feet felt great. It's a very stylish shoe with a handsome profile - highly recommended!

Teen liked, Mother Approved. Teen- into color neon (volt=neon yellow), Nike brand, and 10.5 regular width fits him fine. Mom (me)- into durability look of black, sturdy support structure, and very thankful that teen likes (went to 3 retail stores before Zappos saved us)!

The Nike Downshifters are my very athletic teen son's favorite go-to sneakers -- every time his foot grows I purchase him the newest incarnation of the Downshifter. They don't slip in his heel, they provide good traction, and they are pretty subtle for an athletic shoe -- I mean the soles aren't HUGE and / or filled with colored bubbles (you know what I mean). He always gets the gray color.

I purchased these for my husband. He needed a pair of basic shoes for the gym. He likes the light weight feel of the shoe and he says they are comfortable and gets him through his workouts. He definitely recommends them.

Super comfortable. I can't find them on the site anymore so I'm not sure why I've been sent two emails prompting me to review these shoes, but regardless of whether or not anyone can purchase these shoes ever again, they are great.

I purchased these for my husband who has difficulty finding stylish shoes in a wide with. These are perfect; stylish, sleek, and a great fit all around. We will be looking for similar styles in the future.
