The shoe felt awkwardly tight and strange for the first couple days. I decided to give myself a few more days and I’m glad I did. The shoe broke in and once my feet adjusted, these became one of my favorite pairs of shoes. They’re extremely light and breathe very well. They have great arch support without being over the top. I don’t know how I hadn’t discovered this brand sooner.

I like these. They look good, seem well constructed, and fit the contour of my foot well. Adequate padding, seemingly solid construction.

Very comfortable shoes. I have a hard time finding wide shoes that still look good as a woman with 4E extra wide feet. These are wide enough in the toe box and look pretty stylish (unlike clunky women's 4E tennis shoes). The support type feels neutral and there isn't much too much arch support (as in most athletic shoes) but they are well cushioned. There is room to remove the insert and put in a custom orthotic, but it's a tight fit to lace them up. However, I find these very comfortable as is and am definitely happy with them! Had these for about 2 weeks now, but I will try to update with how well they hold up. (As an aside, I've been disappointed lately with how narrow most of the New Balance shoes have gotten, but Asics seems to be consistently wider if you need a very wide shoe.)

Nice "looking" sneaker and I wanted them to be good, but something happened to Asics over the past years. They used to carry great sneakers. I used to ONLY buy ASICS. They seem to have cheapened the product. I tried on the Contend 4 and it felt like they had really thin and cheap soles. It is not just with these ASICS, but ASICS in general. That is why I switched over to Saucony. I love the ASICS appearance though, as opposed to the boring looking Saucony Omni Walker. The fit and durability of Saucony Omni Walker can't be matched however. My old beat up pair had better soles than these ASICS. I had to mail these ASICS back. I hope one day ASICS goes back to what they were.

I like everything about the Asics GEL-Contend 4, from the price all the way to the fit and comfort. Your service is FIVE STARS as well. I received my shoes on Monday via US Mail. The way I feel now, I wouldn't buy shoes from anyone else. Mahalo!! Jack

ASICS are my favorite sneaker. I buy men's size because women's do not come in my size. They are light weight but give great support. So glad I found this style!

These have more cushion than some of the other Asics I've owned. It's a very good looking sneaker. The colors are pronounced and the detail shows up nicely.

Overall a comfortable shoe ESPECIALLY after I broke them in.

I saw these on sale with a further discount. I like Asics. Just looking for sneakers for everyday wear, so I was ok with them not being a "top of the line" running shoe. I just got and have not decided if I will keep. They fit great. But, it just feels like there is almost no cushion.

In my two decades of being a loyal ASICS customer, this is the first pair that disappointed me. Why? For starters, the arch support was terrible. Secondly, the whole shoe just felt flimsy, like it would wear out in six months of daily wear. It did not feel rugged, making it different from every other pair of ASICS that I have owned. If I did not know they were ASICS, I would have guessed that they came from Walmart. Not recommended.

I've been bouncing between a size 12 and size 13 for 20 years. 12's are too tight, and I'd have to go extra tight on the laces on13's to keep my foot from moving around. Just right!

The size and width was what I normally wear. I like the looks and they are a joy to walk in.

I have one big toe and both heels have issues. These shoes fit well, a tad tight in width but they should break in nicely. My feet feel so much better since wearing these shoes, with no pain at the end of my day. Great purchase, and acceptable delivery time.

These shoes are super light. They do run narrow but that works for me. I wear women's 12.5 AA. Hard size to find so I love it when I can find something in men's that work.

This is also my second pair of this shoe, soft comfortable foot support, helps ease the pain from overpronation, Overall satisfied for the price.
