Great fitting jacket, durable, and light. I must have worn this jacket everyday this summer. I liked it so much, I bought another one in a different colour.

Purchased this as am jacket I could use when I'm out for a walk, or on my bike, when the weather changes, and it gets a little breezy, and it works perfectly. Really lightweight, and just the right length for me. Can be packed down to fit in a pocket, and has great features, such as the phone pocket. Another winner.

I bought it about a month ago. It's exactly what I was looking for. Light, wind breaker and packs le. The perfect companion for hikes and rides in cool weather. Strongly recommended.

I use this jacket cycling whenever it's a bit chilly out. The hood is great for when the temperatures drop, and I like how you can tuck it away. I often just wear my cycling bib with my nodin jacket as a top. If I get too hot I can unzip the front and then it breathes quite nicely. I'm never too hot or too cold with this jacket. You should to take the hood out when hang drying the jacket.

Recently bought this Nodin hoodie for my summer hike and bike to replace my Incendo hoodie which does not have hand pockets.
Incendo's small was good fit for my 172cm/64kg, but this Nodin runs a bit large. Also didnt get a bright colour and being visible while biking can be a life saver - same when hiking.
Stowable hood is a nice touch and hand pockets works great.

I can't believe how lightweight this jacket is. It takes up no space so you can pretty much take it anywhere with you to have as a backup in case you get caught under-dressed. I live near the ocean so it can get pretty cool when you move from inland to shore in a matter of 100 ft. Having this jacket on hand at all times is a lifesaver.

This is probably one of my favourite Arc'teryx jackets ever! It is so versatile and can be worn in almost any type of light weather. Wearing this in heavy rain is not recommended. I strongly recommended this jacket to anyone that needs a new light jacket.

I wear this jacket for about anything. Hiking, running, work. Just about everything. Fits great and keeps me "toasty".

Another beautifully designed and effective piece of clothing from Arc'teryx. Like reviewer Idyllbeast, I wondered how well the stowable hood would work, but it works very well: it's easy to stow without leaving lumps, and it gives the collar a little lift that is comfortable and helps keep the wind out. The cuffs seal without being a noticeable presence. I've found the jacket works well for biking on cool summer mornings (low/mid teen celsius). The long arms, drop back, close-but-not-too-close fit and quiet fabric make this a very practical and versatile jacket. Despite price sticker shock, I'm glad I bought it.

This is a very simple piece that has become a staple in the bottom of my pack for emergencies. As with so many Arc'teryx pieces it is very well constructed and almost laughably light. The latter comes at a cost of course, as this a basically a single thickness piece of nylon that will not survive major bushwhacking or a significant brush with Tahquitz granite. I have tested it enough to be confident that it is highly wind resistant, and certainly useful against light moisture. Several features have really impressed me. The hood that disappears into the collar is great, because I only use that on rare occasions, so not having it interfering with the pack or flapping around when not in use is a bonus, plus it makes the collar a bit higher and more rigid, and hence effective. Other windshirts I have used do not have hand pockets, and that is a great feature on the Nodin. The right hand pocket has an additional internal zip pocket for valuables, and easily accommodates a phone etc. At only 4x6 inches, this is the pocket the entire jacket stuffs into. Somehow these pockets don't add significantly to the weight of the jacket, and what little they do add, its well worth it. The hood lacks any adjustment cords and that concerned me initially, but it is very snug fitting, so weight and bulk has been saved and yet the hood still functions well (for me at least). Overall the feel of this jacket is reminiscent of the Black Diamond Alpine Start Hoody, but that lacks the stowing option for the hood and the hand pockets, but ends up a fraction heavier in part due to some bulky hood adjustments. I prefer the fit and features of the Nodin on balance. I found the Nodin ran a little larger than some other Trim fit pieces. That shape always works great for me in a Large, but the Nodin is especially long-armed. That's fine for me with a 6-plus-feet wingspan, and I ultimately stuck with the Large to be able to fit other layers underneath, but if you typically fall between two Arc sizes and plan to wear this just over a base layer (e.g., t-shirt only), you may want to go with the smaller of your two size options.

While I haven't been able to use this product in-depth, initial impressions is that the Nodin is a more city-friendly version of the Squamish. The Nodin has two side pockets, tuck-away hoody, is made of Tyono 20 rather than the napoleon pocket and Tyono 30 on the Squamish. Also, the label on the Nodin states its a Regular Fit - on the website it says Trim Fit. In any manner, it seems to fit a bit tighter than the regular fit on my old Squamish - so not sure if Arc'teryx changed the sizing of the fit or if it is simply a mistake on the website or label. Great product, looking forward to using it more as the weather warms up.
As with all Arc'teryx expensive, this is expensive, but I know this will provide good value in the long run based on $/wear and Arc'teryx's warranty

Bought a size that always fits a bit large for me. It arrived fast & I love it. Just one issue, the length of the jacket was about right, but when I raised my arms, the bottom of the jacket lifted above my belly button.

I've had this jacket for about 1.5yrs now and this is my feedback.
If you're looking for a Light jacket that offers breathability, comfort & minimal/light protection from the rain, then this is the jacket! Anything more then light rain, expect to get wet.
I recommend using this light jacket for a hike, run, biking or hitting the town on cool/cloudy day. If you plan on having a backpack or sling bag BEWARE! I used a small sling bag during my hikes and have noticed it's starting to pill across my chest & body where the crossbody strap would be.
I really like this jacket, but wished someone would of told me not to carry a backpack or sling bag.

I really like the trim fit and the option to stuff away the hood.
The only drawback is the elastic band on the cuffs that always sits weirdly after putting on the jacket.
