If you have a high arch you will find it difficult to get these on.

I love these boots!! I bought them mostly to use as an everyday rain boot (I commute to work on foot and bus), but last week I attended a conference and threw them in my bag at the last minute, "just in case." Well, we got 10 inches of snow and I ended up wearing them every day with ankle length trousers, and I got several compliments on my outfit! They have a pretty slim profile and small ankle opening, so they more or less blended in with my business-casual outfit, which was an unexpected bonus. With mid-weight wool socks they kept my feet warm and dry as I slogged through slushy sidewalks. They were also extremely comfortable AFTER I took the insoles out and flipped them upside down (so that the shiny silver part faces up). Before that, the insoles were sliding everywhere and it was terrible. Pretty strange design flaw but easy to fix. I look forward to wearing these in the spring as rain boots -- they seem like they will hold up well.

Very comfortable and cheerful -- I've only worn them a few times but have gotten compliments. I have narrow feet and tried to buy Kamiks but they were too wide on the sides and top. These fit and the insole is comfortable. I walk a lot and these are quite comfortable for rain boots.

I love these boots! I can never wear tall rain boots and these are the best solution! they look a lot like Chelsea boots on, which is great. I wear them sometimes when it's not raining! The structure is really sharp and the shoe has clean lines. I took off one star for style because the toe is a little too round. Also one off for comfort because while the footbed is EXTREMELY cushion-y and is like walking on a cloud (really-- or like a tempurpedic mattress) the ankle has these elastic things that are normal in these types of shoes but it pinches my ankle for some reason, but only on one foot so it might just be me. These are great boots buy them!!!

Wish I had seen the other reviewer before purchasing these! The padded liner is not attached and slides all the way up the back of my heal. Very frustrating feeling when you’re commuting in heavy rains.

I found these boots comfortable the first time I put them one. They have a nice, simple, classic feel; well formed and functional. They were a bit snug getting on around my ankle these first few times I've worn them, but perfectly comfortable once on and I walked numerous miles in them already. I generally take a size 8.5 shoe, and somewhat uncharacteristically round down to a size 8 here, but they still fit over my socks well. These should serve very well as Fall and early Winter ankle boots for heavy dew, rain, or light snow. (Still have higher boots for deeper Winter and multiple inches or more of snow.)

Sweet mother of a perfect-fitting, ankle, Wellington boot! I like the minimalist style, and of course, the quality construction. Using as a go-to boot for the sloppy winters.

I ordered a size up based on reviews so that I could wear warm socks and put in an insole (sore feet from running). I'm happy I did. I have normal to narrow-ish feet, but big feet (size 10, ordered size 11) and I like these because they are streamlined with a good silhouette, not wide in the foot or with a big hole to put your foot into, so they don't make my feet look huge compared to rubber boots I've had before. It takes a second to get them on and off, but I can do so without problem, lots of stretch to open the top and get your foot in, then they pull right back to have a nice fit around your ankle. I have been wearing them to walk my dogs in wet fields, but they look nice enough that I think they will look good with more "sidewalk" friendly clothes on a rainy day! I haven't worn them in cold weather yet, but I don't think they'll be that warm, which makes me glad I got a size up for extra thick socks once the weather turns for the worse. If I didn't think I needed thick socks or extra cushioning, my normal size probably would have been fine.

One of the best shoe purchases I've ever made. These are so comfortable, never needed breaking in. Totally waterproof and sturdy but look great with regular clothes.

Overall great boot. Definitely more comfortable than other similar boots. I bought an 11 because I’m a 10.5 and wanted to be able to wear thick socks with these. Definitely need two hands to put these on because the elastic around the ankle is tight (but doesn’t feel tight around the ankle once the boot is on). These look a little less sleek than other boots so maybe a little more “manly” (which happens when I size up to an 11 with most shoes anyway), but my husband and I think they look great when they are on. Wore them with tights and a dress for a nice dinner in Boston during a snowstorm, then out to a club (bachelorette party weekend) after the dinner and felt chic enough. Tretorn makes quality stuff and I feel as though these boots will last for years and years! (Foot bed comfy even with my plantar fasciitis!)

Is it just me? No one else talked about the squeaking. Tried these on and walked on my wood floors and sounded like a duck. On the sidewalk it's fine but on indoor surfaces there is noticeable noise. Other than that, they're fine. Fit my normal 8M and not that difficult to put on. Felt comfortable walking. I wouldn't say they are chic. I could imagine wearing them all day with pants but can't really imagine them with a dress.

I bought these as a last minute purchase when I realized my NYC trip weekend trip was going to be shared with a nor'easter. I only wanted to take one pair of shoes, and was attending an event at Lincoln Center, so I picked these since they were more stylish than most rain boots. In spite of the weather, I walked 10+ miles in them over the next 36 hours. They kept my feet dry. The insoles were nice and soft but about 5 miles in, they started creeping up the back. They were difficult to get off and on, so adjusting the insole was a pain. One side of the shaft of one boot dug into my leg, to the point where I made a patchwork of bandaids on my leg to cushion the area for the second day. Had I bought these boots for errands around town and only wore them for an afternoon at a time, this would be a 5 star review. No blisters, they didn't rub my feet anywhere. They are the most stylish, comfiest rain boots I've ever had. But they aren't perfect.

I really liked these but they rubbed my ankle bone.

We bought these for our 18 year old daughter who wanted the equivalent in the Hunter Boot but Zappos didn’t have it. These are less expensive and just as good quality. She loved them. Can be dressed up with leggings and sweater or worn with jeans, etc. Very stylish and comfortable. She said they did not dig in at all and were very easy to pull on.

This is my second pair of Tretorn’s, and so far I love them just as much as the first! They accommodate my wide feet without looking clunky and the insole is super soft.

Really comfortable and cute! Wear them to walk my dog in the rain and muck. Live in southeastern North Carolina where we get lots of rain and the winters are mild. Super stylish without too much bulk. Usually wear a 7.5 but sized up to an 8 and it fits great! Plenty of room in the toe box without feeling floppy. I have very little ankles and the boot fits perfectly without being too loose or too tight. Great choice!

If you’re looking for simple, comfy rain boots, these are great! The bottoms are squishy, and they don’t cause blisters as other rain boots often do for me.

These booties fit perfectly - true to size! Love, love, love them.

Very comfortable. Glad I purchased. The real test is coming up when I take them to England and experience the ubiquitous rain puddles.

Love these boots! Minimal but the shape is right on trend. They are comfortable and stylish enough to wear all day as part of your outfit.

This shoe is stylish enough and comfortable enough for me to keep, and I am pretty critical of those things! It is a rubber rain boot but I like the fit and soft footbed.

These are just size. If you are size 7 and you want to wear these with thick socks, order 7.5 or 8. I wanted rain shoes that I can also wear for up to 5 inches of snow. I love them, but I'll order a half size larger (at least) for next time.

Great rain boots! Really comfortable and fit a lot nicer than calf height rain boots in my opinion. They seem to be very well made and the black pair is pretty inconspicuous if that's what you're going for.

Comfortable out of the box, these boots are awesome. Fun and stylish yellow galoshes for dreary rainy days. The padded sole makes them easy to walk in all day. I used a white pencil eraser to easily remove scuffs so they stay nice and bright.
