It’s tight across the top of my foot. Uncomfortably so. But I loved the look enough to want to wear them around the house and see if they’d stretch. They did—a bit. I have to wear super thin socks or no socks, which works because the lining feels like my Uggs. But even then, my nerves are pressed and toes tingle a bit if I’m sitting a lot. So if you have a high arch, these probably won’t work for you. I have four other pair of Docs and this is the only pair that is uncomfortable. No laces mean no wiggle room. Literally. I’m keeping them but don’t wear every day.

I am an 8.5 and the 8's were snug, 9's are great. Great looking boot, super cozy, great value.

I'm finding that sizing across Doc Martens is unreliable. I have an old pair of steel toe boots in 5/7 that have been fabulously reliable. I just bought four different pairs. One pair of 5/7 shoes fit like a lovely, comfy glove. One pair of 5/7 shoes were uncomfortably tight along the side and over the toe. This pair of 5/7 Leonore boots felt slightly short in the toe; same style in 6/8 is ever so slightly larger than I'd like but I'm going to keep them. One ironic reason why: they are way more comfortable with socks than barefoot. The shearling does not cover every part of the inside of the boot, so it's nice, but it is NOT like an UGG -- the shearling does NOT envelope the foot. But I'm pleased with the purchase. I needed a pair of boots I could wear with a suit in a formal setting in the dead of winter. These are funkier than what many women might feel comfortable wearing in similar circumstances, but the smooth, handsome look of the boot "suits" me just fine.

If you love DMs and love a good Chelsea boot then these are the boots for you! I'm on my feet all day and have both the brown and black in this boot. I'm a U.S. Women's 8 so ordered the U.K. Women's 6. Perfect.

I really like these boots. The slip in style was what I really wanted and they are super easy on and off. The faux fur is warm and cozy. You don’t have to wear a bulky sock to keep warm. Very happy with purchase.

I had a hard time figuring out what size to get after reading the reviews. I wear a size 9W in the 1460 pascals but I got a size 10W in these bc I have wide feet and a big arch, and I wanted to be able to wear thick socks. They fit perfectly. I do think they fit more on the narrow side than other docs. Love the style and they're so easy to put on and take off!

When I first put them on, I noticed how hard and stiff they were, especially around the ankles. When my foot was fully in them, I had to take them off to make sure they really were Dr. Martens with the AirWair tab on the back.. there it is. I have flip flops that have more cushion in the sole than these. I have Dr. Martens from 30 years ago and the AirWair soles still feel BOUNCY. When I unboxed these Lenore they *looked* really promising. I think cardboard boxes have more give then these boots. I walked around my house for 3 days, did squats in them (that was the worst), there's just no give/flexibility in these shoes. Even the potential promise of cool shoe isn't enough to add a star.

I ordered both the 7 and 8 to see which size would work best (I'm usually a 7, but go up a half size in boots). The 8 was the better choice! These boots are very well made and I expect them to be quite comfortable once broken in. The best feature is that they feel nice and warm!

I love these Dr. Martens! They required no break in time and keep my feet warm and cozy. I receive a ton of compliments when I wear them and I find them much more comfortable than the original style Dr. Martens boots. I am normally an 8.5 and ordered a size 9 and they fit great even with thick socks.

These were so cute and comfortable. However there is no arch support to these - and putting an insole in would mean taking out the furry insole!

Get compliments on these every time I wear them. No socks necessary! Love them!!! Have stood up to rain and snow well.

These fit great but take forever to break in. Be prepared for weeks of blisters.

I was excited to get these after finally pulling the trigger. Unfortunately, they turned out to be much clunkier and bulkier than they looked on the site. They made my feet look simply gigantic. They were very comfortable and if I was looking for something purely warm for the winter, I'd be happy.

I love the look and feel of this boot, unfortunately there was no support so did not work for me.

Really tight and pinchy toe box. Literally felt a full size too small. EXCRUCIATING fit. Not sure going up even a size and a half larger would help this. Bummer because these felt like they’d be tough enough to withstand the winter slush and cozy with the fur lining. I have heard of the dreaded doc martins break in period and expected it but these were incredibly inconsistent with the size chart.

Fit is what I would expect in the size I ordered, though maybe a tad snug with athletic crew socks. But I wanted something rugged but stylish and easy to pull on for slushy, wet weather and these are perfect. I will treat them with a water repellent spray as a final touch, though I am not sure that will be necessary. Well constructed, so I think these will last a long time.

These boots are ADORABLE! I'm so glad I took the chance and bought them. Very stylish, and best yet - they keep my feet warm in this frigid winter we've been having in the northeast! I'm a solid 7.5, but these only came in whole sizes. Zappos guided me to purchase .5 size up, and I got the 8's. I must say, they're ever so slightly too big - but still so cute, I'll just be able to wear some nice thick socks with them. Also, I took away one star for comfort because I do feel like they lack arch support. Overall, I'm really pleased with them!

Usually wear a 9 1/2 to 10. Size 9 fit is perfect. These seem to be a little more narrow than the same style without the faux fur. Fit is still fine. Just seems a little less chunky.

Tried these boots and also same style without the faux fur. These were a good fit. I’m usually size 9 1/2 to 10. Size 9 was perfect. Felt true to medium width. Boots without fur seemed a little wide. Maybe the fur takes up a little space, but these also just look less wide than plain boots. Love the style in either option. Kept this option.

I wear 71/2 or 8, 8 fits perfect! The black leather is both stylish and durable. Comfort is exactly why I bought these and they do not disappoint!

I should have listened to the reviews. I’m a size 7 and should have ordered a size 8 right from the start. Now that I have the right size, I can tell you how warm and comfortable these boots are. The support around the ankles help pull it all together. These will be my new go to in the winter!

I love these Dr. Martens! I wore them for the weekend in Denver, right out of the box! they were warm and comfortable. I will be getting another color for next winter

I wear size 8 in shoes, and that is what I ordered with Dr. Martens Leonore. They feel true to size with regular socks on, if you would like to wear them with thick winter socks, you should order one size up. They look just like in the picture. I hope they will keep me nice and warm in low temperatures of Chicago weather.
