These are absolutely the BEST exercise shoes I have ever worn in my life! The souls have so much support I feel like I'm walking on a cloud even after going several miles. I plan to get another pair soon, just so I don't have to go without them. These are a real winner if you walk or run long distances. I got them for an upcoming half marathon, and I'm gonna kick butt this year!!!

I have worn a 92E in this shoe for years. This version is shorter than the previous versions, as other reviewers indicated. I found the 9.52E to be too long and the shoe slipped up and down when I walked. (The shoelaces provided with the shoes are too short to do the usual fixes for slipping shoes.) Anyway, I returned these and bought New Balance 990s instead.

I've been wearing Brooks for years. Sadly this pair didn't work. I have a narrow foot and high arches. The heel box on this shoe sat low and even laced tight my heel slipped when I walked. I think they were the right size they just weren't configured quite right for my foot. I had to return them.

I purchased the GTS17s and I could not be happier. For me, they ran true to size with plenty of room. For a time, I had switched from Brooks to New Balance..but no, no, no. There is no comparison so I switched back to Brooks. I also purchased the Brooks Ghost9's and those are also awesome tennis shoes. Yes, they are pricey but for comfort and support, they are WELL worth the money. Either the GTS17's or the Ghost9's are amazing shoes. Go for it!

I just received 2 pairs of Brooks. I ordered the GTS17 and the Ghost9. They are both a superb tennis shoe, equal in comfort and support. I am keeping both, but if I had to pick the Ghost9 has a slight advantage in that it is a little cushier and supportive, but in all honesty they rank very close. I am so glad I spent the extra money for my Brooks. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Oooh I just love these shoes, in fact I am so obsessed I may get a second pair. I chose the New York Times print version because I prefer elegant neutral colours (the lack of which is the bane of my life with Brooks) and these look really neatwith the signature flat laces. Never mind the looks though: this is the most comfortable, plush shoe I have ever found, especially for running (not that I do much running). The fit and foot feel of the GTS 17 is very similar to the Glycerin 13 (my favourite til now, albeit not as pretty) - like a big friendly cuddle for your hard-working trotters! - so if you liked that shoe you may also like this one. I bought the Neuro (pink) at the same time and like those a lot less (plastic-y feel, marshmallow sole makes my small feet look huge, etc etc). Am very frustrated with Brooks for not offering that shoe in black & white for women, as they do for men, who - for that matter - may well be interested in the neon pink!

Ordered these for my daughter who over pronates pretty severely. These shoes are comfortable for her and look good. This generation seems to fit better than the previous one.

I have been wearing New Balance for a while but am unhappy with recent changes in the sneaker i usually wear. So being flat-footed I returned to Brooks (used to wear them a while back). I originally ordered the Ariel. While it's an incredibly comfortable sneaker, I didn't like the 1 color it comes in, and for that price, I have to like the color too. The Adrenaline fit the bill with comfort, style and color. The Ariel is probably better if you are flat footed, but these seem to be just as good. I have to go a 1/2 size up since I wear orthotics. I love these sneakers!

Very comfortable shoes. I used to where a 9.5 but now I need a 10. Sizing may have changed a little. This is one brand that doesn't bother my feet, which have issues.

I have worn Adrenaline by Brooks for several years because of an achilles injury. I have not had any issues with newer versions of the shoe..they have all been great. The 17's are my favorites so far..they are so light weight and very comfortable!

I won't wear any walking/running shoe but the Brooks GTS model. I discovered them after a broken ankle and surgery ended my running days and left me with an ankle that has to be pushed into alignment with a great support shoe and orthotics. I was use to wearing lightweight and cushy running shoes so what I love best is that these give you a similar feel but with great arch support. If you're on the fence debating what color to get, I recommend the grey/silver/black. Very cool newsprint looking design! Size wise, recommend sizing up half size.

I am late getting to this review, first lets say my shoes are the #15 not the #17. My first pair lasted 1.5 years, medium use and wear before they started breaking down in support, so I bought another two pairs having found them for $79 and trying to save money. I had been wearing the Addiction for 10+ years as a working shoe with an average price of $150 each. The Addiction was a life saver when I hurt my foot, the only way I was able to stay on my feet 16 hrs/day. My second pair of Adrenalines broke down in support in under two months, the sole came apart in under one month with the edges flapping, the back of the heel broke down despite my regular use of a shoe horn to prevent this, the entire foot box stretched out, sole support flattened,no pronation prevention, felt like I was walking right on the hard floors as if barefoot. I tossed them and pulled out the second pair which also lost support within two months. Used for light walking 14hrs 3x/week, only 336 hours on this shoe before it is worthless compared to 21,000 hours on the Addiction. I contacted the supplier who was willing to take them back but I chose not to stick the problems with this poorly made Brooks version on him. I can't imagine running in these things. I pushed wearing the second pair until today, my feet just can't take it. I am getting another pair of Addictions. Be warying. Send them back asap if you have problems.

The 16s of this model came out the box practically molded to my feet-- not so with the 17. Too narrow and long. News flash Brooks, when we're ordering an extra-wide shoe we need a serious toe box. I thought I found a fun, cool-looking alternative to New Balance but I guess not. Sigh

Great balance of stability ,and control! Very solid and extremely comfortable with a wide toe box ! Good traction, gives a smooth transition and excellent support ! in being an over pronator with flat wide feet ! I did jump from e width to Double wide so I have plenty of room to wear with cushion Thor lo socks ! Feels a bit stiff but doesn't interfere with comfort as I love the control and support!

Others reviewers are right. I only wear Brooks Adrenaline GTS, but the 2017 model is the best ever. I feel like I stepped onto a cloud--superior cushioning, super support, and a slightly larger toe box. There is no comparison to the 2016's. They lacked primarily the superb cushioning. I am going to order another color immediately-just need to decide on the color. Super comfortable right out of the box. Go Brooks for an improved Adrenaline GTS 2017! Brooks have always run 1/2 size smaller than a regular shoe. However, I usually wear a 1/2 larger in a running shoe anyway. It's also great that they offer half sizes in the larger sizes. I normally wear a 10M and in this shoe and all of Brooks Adrenalines I wear a 10.5.

It looks like Brooks finally addressed the sizing issues and I can wear the same size now that I wore before the 15. That is the only good thing I can say. The base of this shoe feels cheap and is nothing like the old Adrenaline we all loved. With 14 and under versions, the second I put it on, I knew I had a very special shoe. The foot bed / base of the shoe was luxurious - firm yet forgiving like no other shoe. It was the element that made the Adrenaline different than any other shoe I have tried and the only shoe I wore after finding it. As I said, there is nothing special about the base of the 17 and I can get the same cheap feel for a lot less money. Unfortunately, as with the 15s and 16s I tried, the 17s I ordered will be heading back to Brooks and I remain on the hunt for a good shoe. SUGGESTION FOR BROOKS - Stop playing around with the shoe and go back to what worked! Pull out the specifications for any OLD Adrenaline (14 or lower) and just start building that shoe again!! Those were the winners. 15 on up appear to simply be an attempt to cut costs and cheapen what was previously a fabulous shoe! We, your customers notice!

I like my Brooks Ariel better but I will keep these since they will be fine for hot days with light walking. For workout I prefer my stable shoe.

I have worn these only a handful of times and the rubber on the bottom is lifting off in a couple spots. I have not even run in them yet. Also I ordered up a half size as recommended and they feel too big. I am not happy. I have worn them outside of my house so I probably can't even return them now. I am calling Monday to find out.

I am so happy with these shoes. They are exactly what I wanted. I pronate heavily in my left foot and the architecture in these Brooks Adrenalines corrects it. They are comfortable, sleek, roomy in the toes. Never bought Brooks before but will again. I highly recommend these.

It's a gorgeous shoe (love, love, love the color) and very stabilizing, but as soon as I put it on I felt that the sides are too narrow and rubbed on my slight bunion.

These just might be the most comfortable running shoes I've ever owned. Perfect combination of style, support, weight and size. They hug my feet without being constricting ... I've had issues with my last few pairs of Saucony Kinvaras stretching out, so this is a big plus. I have hip and back issues, and these are light enough for me to put some miles in without feeling weighed down. And they are so cool-looking!
