THESE BOOTS ARE GORGEOUS, however the sizing on these boots is not even close. I ordered an 8.5, my normal size and a 9 based on the comments. The 8.5 was at least a half size too small, while the 9 felt more like a 10. Interesting there are NO MARKINGS anywhere in the boot stating the size, so no way to verify what the box said was even accurate. I had to compare the sole lengths to see which was which when putting back in box for returns. Quality control at Zappos/Amazon is not good. Spending almost $350 for a pair of boots arriving like another customer threw them back in the box with wrapping all askew and leather pulls missing from one boot. This was the condition of BOTH Pairs. Unacceptable in my opinion. I have 2 other pairs of Bedstu boots, have never seen such a problem before.

This boot is ridiculously off size. I only wear Bed Stu and have grown accustomed to the inconsistent sizing, but for the most part I'm at least in the ball park when I order. These boots must be one full size too small. Maybe more. I love their boots but really hope they start getting a handle on their consistency issues. The leather is beautiful but I couldn't even zipper up around the foot because the size was just so wrong.

I am very disappointed with these boots. I love the style of this boot and was very excited to order them. Huge mistake. Super narrow in the foot and I could not even get the zipper up with my foot in. I own several other pairs of Bed Stu and they fit perfect. It would be great if these boots fit like the Manchester boots. I wish these fit, but sadly they will be going back.

I deliberated over these for a while because many reviews say the sizing is off. Turns out my usual size 7 was a perfect fit, and I wore them all day out of the box with just tights and had no issues at all. They are very comfortable. I picked these because of my relatively small calves (5'2", 105 lbs) and the fact that most tall boots have extra space--these have back laces. The laces do help tighten up the boots, but even on the first day they're as tight as they'll go, so I imagine with wear they will bag out. I think I'll still like them even if that happens, but I might reserve them for jeans. They do go up to nearly the center of my knee.

This would have been my second pair of Bed Stu boots. I ordered two pairs one in an 8.5 (which are the size of my other Bed Stu boots) and another pair in size 9. The only reason I attempted to size up was to get some sort of manageable width in these boots--NOPE. They are absolutely horrible which is too bad bc I get so many complements on my original pair of Manchester boots

I agree that these boots definitely run on the small side. I was so disappointed especially as I have several pairs of Bed Stu shoes and boots in 7.5. I usually wear a 7 in shoes and I get a 7.5 for boots as I tend to wear heavier socks with boots. These were really tight. I did send them back and ordered size 8.

I ordered a half size up based on everyone's reviews. That was still not enough, so I returned and for a full size larger. I still had trouble getting my foot in and would need to unlace these every time I put them on or off. They are great looking boots, but I don't have time for that kind of work getting dressed in the morning. Thanks to Zappos for the great return policy!
