This is a nice boot and it fits well. I like the wider calf size as many has said, it fits an athletic calf partly because it is a 10 in. Boot with a 14.5 in calf circumference. One disappointing thing is the boot is much darker than pictured in the Ariat or Zappos website. It is a much darker brown. Pretty bit different than what I was thinking it would be. Still keeping but wanted to note the difference. This is woodsmoke one person.

I love these boots! And finally a style I can get my high arches into! Woo hoo! They are super comfy right out of the box, could wear them bare foot even! Just like all Ariat, well made for the money. They are true to size and width. Order your shoe size, unless you need to accommodate something else like inserts or bunions. They also fit my “athletic” calves so if you have skinny calves these may be too big around for you. The only thing I don’t love is the airbrushed bronze paint on the heel, but love them, don’t care, it’ll wear off!

I have a pair of these exact boots that have been used, used and used. Held up extremely well, but are pretty beat up, so I replaced for the ‘fancier’ uses. Wear them riding, working on the property, in the workshop- and they still look good with jeans or a skirt to run to town in or for lots of walking/ standing at music festival's. Great quality for the money. Shafts are wide, I am thin with smaller calves, so they look a bit big with a dress.

This is my third pair of Ariat boots! I have the Gold Rush and the Dahlia too. My first pair was the Gold Rush - I have a wider foot - I purchased the Gold Rush in M 9 1/2 up a half size for width. They were a bit tight at first, but still comfortable right out of the box and I loved them! It took only 3-4 all day wearing to get them to a perfect fit. My second pair was the Dahlia in a 9 W - perfection right out of the box! I wore them all day the first day. The Autry was the same size wise, 9 W and perfection and comfort all day. I was blessed with wide feet and thick calves too - don't be concerned about the fit of the shaft. Both the Dahlia and the Autry are comfortable fit around the calves as well. The Ariat Cushioned foot bed with ATS® Technology really does set them apart. Also, all of the boots have exposed stitching on the front of the sole of the boot with beautiful fringe on the Gold Rush and accents on the shafts for compliments all day! If you're on the fence about buying a pair of Ariat boots - don't be! They are worth every dime in comfort and quality! It's a bonus to look so great too! Buy the boots!

I LOVE these boots! They are so comfortable! I wear them for 3 hours of line dancing and my feet don’t hurt.

These boots were so incredibly comfortable on their first wear. I bought them for a special event and was on my feet for over six hours with no problems at all!

These boots are amazing! My foot is short and wide... I wish the boots weren’t as narrow, but they’re definitely more forgiving than my Frye boots. As with most shoes, I ordered a half size up to make up for the width being a bit narrow. I wear an 8 in everything (7.5 fits but I get an 8 to give me more width), and the 8 in these fits great. They look sort of long at first, but the more I wear them, the more I love them. Also, I’m an ex-soccer player so my calves are large... my calves fit just fine into these boots with room leftover. I can easily wear with skinny jeans, if I want. Love the style too; they’re super cute! Some color but not too much. Just perfect.

these boots are incredible! fit like a glove (absolutely true to size), looked amazing, SO comfortable. I am IN LOVE with these. i can't say enough. worth the $$$!

I liked the shoe and you cant beat next day shipping. I am usually a 7 in Nike so I ordered a 6 1/2 in Ariat after reading the reviews. This is my 1st Ariat boot. I really liked the design but I have to return. There is so much room in the toe area it makes this boot seem very long and it is hard to walk in. Kind of disappointed.
