Great boot in black! I wear an 8.5 B and ordered 9 B and they are a tad tight but with thinner socks they fit fine. Once broken in they should work with a thicker sock. I've been wearing sport shoes since I have a hard time finding my size and I think my foot is not used to the last. Great look also. I've also wanted a pair of these.

I ordered a pair of these in walnut / brown, and love them... I've worn them about 5 times so far, and they broke in quickly and are super comfortable. These are already my favorite shoes to wear to the office and out. I hope that they are durable enough to last so that I can wear them for years to come.

These boots are extremely well made and after a few days they fit like a glove. A must is using cedar shoe trees to keep the shape. If you want an excellent boot made in America - these are your boots

These shoes fit comfortably, can be worn in the rain and look good too.

Great shoes. I wear a pair every day. I have approximately 25 pairs of Allen Edmond shoes. They are built and crafted to give a comfortable fit. I recently assisted a co-worker as he ordered the Christmas jingle mocks for his dad.

Out of box fitment and comfort were fantastic for my 9.5E feet. Walked a few miles in them without any discomfort. Dress or casual boot.

Some boots are too high on the ankle. These are perfect. Great fit but consider an E size as the vamp can be a little cramping. I normally wear a D and went to the E. Also, there is a subtle seam across the top, but I think it gives the shoe a unique look. I have walnut and its bold. I wear with suits and looks great. Several compliments.

I have been looking at various Allen Edmonds Boots. I have tried the First Avenue and now the Liverpool. I am very impressed with this boot. The color and the quality is outstanding and that is saying something with someone who has over 35 Allen Edmonds shoes!

4.5 stars in all honesty. I live in the Liverpool since returning to the office after the pandemic. The original V-Tread sole was ok, but i just had them recrafted with the Dainite sole and they went from being a great dress boot to being BAD A$$!!! The sole is more durable, sleek enough to not destroy its great look, and more comfortable when walking and standing in my opinion. I no longer wear dress shoes, just the Liverpool. Once you find your size, you won't regret buying them and, when a new sole is needed, i recommend the Dainite.

I have 3 pair of these now - Black/Olive/Chili. The Chili I got this season. It's a good-looking boot that works as casual or dress. However, compared to my AE dress shoes, casual shoes, and lace-up boots, and most other shoes, they run small. I usually wear a 10.5B and in these I needed an 11B - the 10.5B was too tight and uncomfortable after a while. Some say get your size and break them in. They are not hard leather or thick and I don't think putting up with a tight shoe and hoping for the best is good approach. Get a size that is comfortable and stick with that - if you are lucky enough to be near a store, get fitted there. Fitted properly, they won't need breaking in to feel great.

This morning I received my second pair of AE Liverpool Chelsea Dress Boots (first pair is Walnut in color). These boots are well crafted, not too heavy for wearing, and looks great in dress slacks down to nice pair of slim dark denim jeans. I would highly recommend these boots for the stylish enthusiast. This was another great AE buy for me.

This is my first pair of AE shoes. The quality of the shoes is what I would expect for the price point. The Chelsea boot is tight right now and I hope the break in period will loosen them up a bit. I have worn them 4 days a week for a month. I bought 2 pairs. One black and one brown. The black ones are noticeably tighter than the brown pair and it takes some strength to get them off. I have resorted to using the thinnest socks with the black pair. I would have ordered a 1/2 size larger knowing what I know now.

Beautiful shoe. Smell great. Good quality. I usually wear a 10. Got a 10. However, we're a bit narrow. Tight even. Have no idea if they were going to loosen with wear. So had to return and get a wider fit. Which is a first. I thought I had narrow feet. Anyhow, the exchange was easy. Helpful staff. The new shoes fit better. Maybe even a little loose. Will see how these work out. The look of the narrow were sharper. I chose comfort though. Hope I've made the right decision. That's why I gave 4 stars. In an ideal world I would go to the store. Try on 5 different brands and choose the best shape. I've always wanted Allon Edmonds. Heard lots of good things. Hoping I don't catch sight of a cooler pair.

Purchased these in walnut, could not be more pleased with the fit and look. I would have gone without the toppy for the sole, but over time I will see about a change in the sole. Overall, very stylish and I have received many compliments.

Love the look and comfort of this boot so much that I have purchased three pairs over the last ~4 years. Year-round this has been my go-to footwear for dressy and casual occasions. Unfortunately, each pair has met a similar fate with delaminating soles after 6-9 months. I love this boot based on comfort and looks alone, but unfortunately the build quality does not live up to the price tag.

This boot is well built and I've found no flaws with the craftmanship, which is why I kept them. However, the leather had scar lines running vertically through the upper which was disappointing. The boot was clearly a factory second sold at a premium.

I have a pretty standard D width foot and I had to use some leather conditioner and endure a couple of uncomfortable days of wear for these to feel ok. Probably should have simply exchanged them, but the lesson is: order a size wider than you normally wear.

Comfortable stylish boots, but they are already starting to come apart! I own several pairs of shoes from Allen Edmonds, but the quality of these boots don't compare.

Took a long time to break in and then started coming apart within five months. The heel is cracking and the leather seems to be separating from the shoe. I have two pairs of these and it's only happening on one pair. I had another pair that I bought and returned because it didn't fit right at all -- even though it would have been the third pair of what should be exactly the same shoes. Shoes at this price shouldn't come apart so easily.

The right boot has what feels like knots on the edge of the insole. Very uncomfortable. I don't really know what to do about it. I always enjoyed the allen Edmonds brand but I didn't have luck with this pair.

Difficult to put on and the fit was too tight around the toes, sent back a few days ago
