True to form, Rocket Dog has done it again with these super-cute, not-your-everyday-run-of-the-mill rain boots! I purchased the olive pair and they look just like they appear in the picture. I'm a pretty consistent size 7 (occasional 7.5, rarely 6.5) and they fit just as a 7 should. My feet are also very narrow and often get lost in rubber boots, but not this pair. Like most of my other Rocket Dog shoes, there is little in the way of arch support and not much cushion between your foot and sole - nothing a cheap pair of Dr. Scholl's inserts couldn't fix! Adding the inserts turned these boots into one of my favorite and most comfortable pair of shoes (and I have a lot!). As always, Kudos to Zappos for your speedy delivery - got them just in time for Hurricane Matthew!

I love these so much - the look, the feel, the versatility. Sadly, I have to return them. The first time I put them on and pulled the laces to tie them, the eyelet ripped right off of the right boot, 3rd hole. I was stunned. Is it just this specific pair or a defect in the style? I can't take the chance and have this fall apart on me while walking around. This looked and felt like everything I wanted, but it has to go back.

These are awesome! Super cute and a great rain boot. I was worried the tongue area might not be sealed and would let water in - not an issue it is sealed. I've used them a couple of times and no complaints!

I wanted to love these rain boots but, like a number of other reviewers here, I couldn't even get them on my feet! I have a semi-wide toe box and high arches, but nothing that really prevents me from wearing most shoes. But I felt like the ugly stepsisters in Cinderella trying in vain to get my foot beyond the boot's shaft. The tongue is sealed at about the middle of the laces--which makes sense to keep water out--but that means there is no give. Couple that with the slight inward curve above the heel and these were a no-go. I'm really disappointed too because these are really cute shoes. The pattern is bold and true to the pictures.

LOVE these. Fit true to size. Easy on & off. Comfortable enough to wear all day. Great for our rainy winters !

Second time ordering the same pair because they are awesome. Always get compliments on how cute these boots are. I wear them to rainy school soccer games, in the snow, and for cold weather gardening -- that's why the first pair wore out. I learned they are a half size smaller than my usual so I just order one half size up.

Super cute and practical to boot! I bought these for my 15 year old and she loved them at first sight. The "converse" styling was a plus and the flower print was hip enough for high school. A win all the way around!

Once I got these on, the fit is great. Problem is, the tongue is not gusseted, and in order to keep the water out it is not open below the ankle area. So, "sliding" your foot in past the constriction is quite a challenge. I may end up extending the tongue slit ever so slightly so I don't have to actually sit down and wrestle with them in order to run out the door.

I needed something that would survive a music festival that was going to potentially be in a muddy location! Thank goodness for FAST shipping I was able to get these in time! I was looking for something simple that I could easily hose off after a few days. I added an extra cushion to the bottom as I knew I'd be standing for 8+ hours for 3 days in a row. While my feet were definitely tired at the end of each day, I think that would have happened in any shoes. One bummer, when I was lacing them up the first time one of the eyelets came out. The boots were not terribly expensive so I couldn't be upset about it and I think a few others have had the same issue. I went up a half size based on other reviews.

So many reviews said these fit small, so I got my normal size (8.5) and 9. The 9 were way too big, and the 8.5 were even still a tiny bit too big, so I ordered a size 8-a half size smaller than normal for me-they are a tiny bit snug with thick socks, but I actually went with those because they're not uncomfortable and I'd rather them not be too large. So at least for me they definitely did not "fit small". I'd say order your normal size. The toe box is very roomy, but cute still. They do indeed have a tight opening-you have to angle your foot and tug the boot to get them on, so maybe that's why so many people said they fit small? I also read the eyelets were popping out-the shoelace on mine got caught in my bike chain and did pull one of the top eyelets out so I guess you have to be careful with them. Anyway they look fabulous and I still love them. They make rainy days a little less gloomy :-)

Awesome boots and a great price! As other comments mention, the tongue is attached all the way up until the two hooks at the top. This keeps water from getting in. It’s also a little tricky slipping your feet in, but it’s no problem. These might be problematic if you have wide feet. The soles were very stiff for about one mile. After that, they were all broken in and super comfortable. I live in San Diego and when it rains, the sidewalks and cross walks can flood in 5 minutes. I needed water proof boots that are comfortable enough to give my dog a good walk in, and these fit the bill. I can easily go 4 miles in dry comfort. So much easier to walk in than the clunky, knee high boots that are so popular. Aside from being practical, they look great. I’ve worn these even when it’s not going to rain. Fit was true to size. If you’re in a cold climate and wear thick socks, I’d recommend sizing up.

Bought these to take to Europe in the spring. Since they are smaller than a tall rain boot, they were much better suited for my suitcase. They were perfect for the rainy days; my feet stayed dry and I wasn’t worried about my shoes being soaked or muddy. I walked at least 15,000 steps a day in these and my feet felt great. I’m so glad I had these. I wear an 11 and the shoes seemed true to size; the toe box is a little bit wider than the rest of the shoe.

I bought these for my teenage daughter. She love them. Says they keep her feet watermelon too. Another great product from Rocket Dog!

I normally wear a 10 1/2 W so I ordered an 11. They are a little big but not so that I can’t wear them. They are very hard to get into. The tongue isn’t slit far enough down as you would expect with the laces. I will probably take a razor blade to make the opening larger. They are very cute though.

I wrote a review saying how much I loved these, but I had to return them shortly after purchasing because they leaked water. They were super cute and I got tons of compliments! However, I only wore them a few times and then my foot started getting wet. I couldn't find where the leak was, but I sent them back immediately. So sad because they were so cute! I wouldn't purchase again.

Great fit. A tad oversized, enough for socks of medium thickness. Super comfortable, wore them all day right out of the box. Great in wet grass and on concrete floors. I even received a compliment. Highly recommend.

A little big. Great with some thicker socks. I bought them for walking the dog on wet days. I’ve only worn them once, but I’m happy overall. Great boot for the price.

These shoes are adorable and for the most part very comfortable. I would recommend wearing crew length socks those. I wore these all day walking around town on vacation and had only worn ankle length socks. My calf got super irritated by the end of the day on the front where the tongue is and only on 1 leg. But wearing long enough socks completely mitigates that. Other than that the shoes were super comfortable.

I wear these boots working at music festivals and they are by far my most comfortable rain boot! I do wear an orthotic in them but not sure if I need one. They are truly a great buy! My feet do not rub and the toe box is so roomy. I never write reviews but felt on this one I would!

Shoes are true to size. I wear 8.5/9 and I ordered a 9. They are a tinsy, tiny bit small for a 9, but I wore them all day and felt fine. Not a lot of support, but throw some insoles in there and you're good to go. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM. I can't wait to wear them again! Super cute!
