Excellent shoe,light and supportive

Highly water resistant as advertised. Does not breath as well consequently. Conversely in extreme cold keeps feet warmer than other running shoes. Relatively wide for Nike running shoes. Buy up one half size.

Bought these days before a 15K run with a forecast of rain. The shoes lived up to the expectation of having dry socks/feet by the finish line. Comfortable and cool design. Would recommend!

Very good shoe for my high school runner. He loves hiw the wayer beads off during those wet work outs.

Great shoes. Fit as expected, appear to be well put together and look good too. I read previous reviews stating that they feel snug on width and I agree that they do. I usually go for a wider shoe or boot if available. With that said this is something I've felt with a lot of different running shoes as you cannot always find wider running shoes, and I've never had an issue as they tend to fit better over time, so I wouldn't let this concern you. I do a lot of trail running and am excited to have something more weather proof for the fall and winter that feel the same as every other running shoe I've worn.

These shoes are phenomenal. They look great and feel great. A bit snug on the width, but I like the supported feel. Probably not advisable with thicker socks. I am certain these will get great use at the gym and about town.

I have been running in Nike Pegasus for 8+ years, and this year I decided to add a pair of running shoes that could withstand some rain for Fall/Winter running. I was surprised and pleased to learn that there was a Pegasus version with water repellent coating. These Pegasus Shields do not disappoint. Not only do they fit exactly as my previous Pegasus versions, they have done a great job of keeping my feet dry on the wet Fall running season roads. I have not tried them in heavy rain (I suspect I would have wet feet), but in light rain and wet roads where your feet would certainly be wet in any normal running shoe, these keep the elements out! The design is great as well, with colors appropriate for running in gross fall conditions (wont look dirty very quickly), but with plenty of reflective properties for added safety. In short, I love these shoes and would recommend them to anyone who loves the Pegasus and who wishes for some shielding from the weather. Happy running!

We bought these shoes at my son's normal size and he couldn't get his feet into them. Then we bought a full size larger, and it felt really tight and uncomfortable. He doesn't have particularly wide feet, so I'm not sure what the problem is. We'll have to return and buy a completely different shoe.

I've been wearing the Lunar series of running shoes for a while, so this was a change to me. They're less cushy than the Lunar series so at first try on that took some getting used to. After a day it felt like they were softer, or broken in almost, so the change to less softness was fine. The grip is solid and firm. The colors are super vivid what you see in the pic is just a little less vivid than what you get in life. I'm still waiting to see if they're slash resistant, but they feel like the material is make that work well.
