These are a taupe nubuck boot. The top of the boot seems far narrower and stiffer than the 1448 black leather I've had for over a year. FAR Narrower. It took at least 15 minutes of persistence to get each boot on. But they fit well once I got my foot in. And getting them off....well, I had a couple of people here so I didn't panic thinking I'd have to sleep in them but finally got them off. I will be buying shoe horn and boot jack. Because other than the difficulty getting them on and off, they're great...you probably think I'm weird, but I'm serious.

Ended up getting a whole size up, STILL very difficult to get on and off because the opening is so narrow. Suffering through because once they’re on they fit well and are so cute. Love that they are lighter weight and slightly more feminine than other blundstones.

I am a consistent size 8.5. According to the size chart on Blundstone USA I would wear a size 5.5 so I ordered that size from them and...it was too small. I sent that pair back and ordered the size 6 from Zappos (faster shipping). The 6 is a perfect fit. I recommend the Blundstone Comfort Arch Footbed as Blundstones don't provide much arch support. A boot shoe horn is helpful for getting these on easily. I recommend wearing them in the house for a few days with knee socks to prevent chafing around the ankles. The shaft is fairly close fitting and will rub against your ankles until it softens a bit. Mine were fine after 2 days. My last pair of Blundstones lasted 9 years with daily wear and shameful abuse. I love these boots!

I own multiple pairs of Blundstones. The standard, heeled, & now this one. Now, if you know these shoes & their sizing, you'll know that it is different than how things are done in the states. I ordered my original lower boot pair in size 4, & had to put in an additional insert in them. But when ordering for the high top version, I ordered a a 4.5. After reading reviews & the company's website, realized similarly to their heeled shoe, these are in fact quite a bit tighter than the normal ones, due to their additional length up the leg. (I'm a 7-7.5 in us shoe sizes) Yes, that opening is TIGHT. I had so much difficultly putting them on & taking them off at first. But it's been a month now, I've worn them hiking, in the elements to get them to loosen up. They're the best now! Not as loose as my black pair, but they're great. Similarly to their heeled boot, I can't wear thicker socks with them. I'd say go a half size up than your normal blunnie size. They're my favorite pair now.

I love these boots. I read the reviews and saw that people were complaining about them being hard to get on, and that they were very narrow. And I agree I need to sit down to put on and take off the shoe but other than that I am super happy with them. I have a pretty narrow foot and I tried the Blundstone 510 as well, and I didn't like the color, and I thought it was too loose so I sent those back. I have basically worn these shoes every day since I got them and I plan to continue throughout the winter... I think I might need the black high tops too...

Definitely order up one half size. Also, with this model, you might very well buy a boot jack. At least until the opening relaxes a bit. I think I pulled my right hip out of the socket trying to get these off the first time. That said, love my new Blunnies. Took a break for a couple decades, happy to be back in them!

Blundstones are definitely trending in my town, so after some research and shopping, decided to give them a try to see what all the hype is about. I wanted something that will stand the test of time. I hate throwing old, broken shoes in the landfill! I picked these boots for their timeless style/durability/practicality. They are hard to get on, which is why they get 4 stars for comfort, but once you get them on they fit like a glove. I’m keeping them in hopes that over time they break in a little and become easier to get on/off. I plan to wear them for casual everyday and hiking on trails.

I just got these, & they are INSANELY tight and narrow in the ankle shaft. It's crazy. I almost could not get them on, and then—even scarier—almost couldn't pull them back off. It hurt and twisted my ankle, and took several minutes to work them back off. I don't have a particularly wide foot, so heed this warning. Am returning them now.

Extremely difficult to get on my feet. Once it was one, the footbed was very comfortable. But when I took it off, it was nearly impossible. It kinda scared me, it was so difficult. Afraid I'd need to cut it off. I see in some pictures that someone did resort to cutting the side to get it off, I presume. I tried 2 sizes and had the problem with both my regular size and the half size up. I am sending back. They are cute, but non functional because of this problem. I hope they change the stretchy side material to something that will stretch enough to get the shoe on and off. The material they have used now doesn't budge.

i love these boots! they are so comfortable. however i would say they run a half size too small. i ordered the 8.5 first because i am ALWAYS an 8.5, and it was just a tiny bit too small and my toes hit the edge, so I had to get the 9 which is much better.

I love these Blundstone high top womens boots. I will admit it took several order and returns to Zappos, and thankful we are able to do this. I started with the unisex boots in this brand. They make many different styles and finishes. I went to Blundstone website and became familiar with the options. The unisex Chelsea boots looked too big on my feet even though the size worked. The high tops are slimmer looking and fit nicely on my ankle, plenty room in the toe box. They are difficult to put on and remove and probably will be for a while. I can accomplish this alone, but nice to have assistance when available.once I get them on I am good to go all day. They look very well made and I love the Rustic Brown vs. the shinier finishes in their other boots. I normally wear a size 10, the size in these are 10-10/12 and are perfect.

I ordered these shoes first in an 8.5 based on reviews saying they ran small. I got them on fine, but they were indeed a little big in the toe area. Zappos is so great about returns, I sent that pair back and immediately ordered the 8. They fit perfectly! I agree, they are a little tough to get on and off but nothing that can't stop me from keeping them. I think they'll break in over time. They are a classic boot that can be dressed up or down. For reference, I wear an 8.5 in running sneaker but most other shoes I'm an 8. If you're on the fence, go for it, you won't regret!

I ordered a couple of different sizes because I was afraid after reading multiple reviews about how these boots are not their actual size, however, I believe they are. I am a solid 8 - 1/2 and that size fit me the best. It's important to remember that you don't want them too big before wearing since they will stretch out. The 8 - 1/2 fits perfectly out of the box. Go with true size

LOVE these!! I am a 8.5 in women’s so I got 5.5 . I really like that this style is higher up in the ankle. It hugs it nicely. Super cute and functional!

I read reviews that these ran pretty large, so I bought a womens US 8 (I'm usually an 8.5 or so). They were definitely too small, so I exchanged for a size up, 8.5. When they arrived I first thought they were still too small, but decided to wear them for a day and they have already stretched out a bit. I think they're definitely the right size, but they were tight when I first tried on!

I read the reviews which describe the narrow shaft and indeed they were difficult to get on. Had I not read the other reviews I might not have tried hard enough, but because I was expecting it I was not afraid to really push and pull and sure enough they did pop on. And they feel good! Plenty of room in the toe box which is usually an issue for me. I do feel a little rubbing on my inside ankle bone where the stitching and goring is. I’ll have to try these on a few more times to be sure that won’t be a problem, but I think a little breaking in will solve it. I did need a hand getting them off. So far though I really like them!! My son has a pair with the same finish and they have worn really beautifully. I like the arch support and I love the height of the shaft. I’ve tried 2 other blundstone styles that were not as comfortable on. I normally wear a 9.5/10 and I followed the fit guide to size up to a 10.5. I think these are it!

As much as I wanted to love these boots they did not work for my foot shape. I must have bony ankles because the way they pressed on the side of the boot hurt after walking for maybe 30 minutes in them, and actually left a bruise. I tried these multiple times hoping they would break in but it never happened. I ended up selling them. I did notice the elastic on these is a different shape than the original Blundstones. It looks like the elastic area is more narrow. I am going to try them next because otherwise this is a great, stylish, well made boot. But if you have bony ankles beware! For reference I am almost always a 7.5 and I got an australian size 4 in these, which they say is a US size 7.

I couldn't comment on the fit because there was no way my ankle would bend enough to get the boot on! I can't imagine how anyone could get this boot on.

Having just tried both the AU 6 and AU 6.5, I can confirm that Australian “half” sizes ARE the same length as the corresponding whole size but wider. To get a longer boot for my US 9.5 women’s foot I need an AU 7. And Zappos is now out of that size. :( I can also say definitely that the Blundstone Dress boots DO run about a half size longer than the other Blundstone styles. I purchased a pair of the Dress boots in AU 6 from Zappos in 2014. They fit my foot perfectly and remain my my most worn winter boot ever! I now want a pair in brown with the heavier tread soles, so hoping Zappos gets restocked soon.
