I needed a warm, waterproof, comfortable boot with support [I have plantar fasciitis (PF)]. After reading multiple reviews of snow boots I bought these for a trip to Colorado Rockies. FIT: True to size with roomy toe box. I wear a size 10 to 10 1/2 and ordered an 11 based on reviews suggesting ordering a size up. I wore thick socks & thinner socks comfortably. The heel “cup” nicely supports my heel and I have no PF pain while wearing them. Some reviews indicated lack of arch support, but it is adequate/comfortable for me. There would be room for an insert if needed when sizing up a whole size. BREAKING IN: I started wearing boots around prior to trip to break them in, but this was not needed. They were comfortable from putting them on, including hikes. SNOW/COLD weather use: warm with thick socks in 7 degree Fahrenheit weather. Waterproof when stepping slush, shoe tread provided good traction in snow and snow/ice mixture though there was some slipping on solid ice- that was expected as I believe ice grips are really the only thing that prevents slipping on ice. The tread is made in a way that it was easy to remove most of the snow from the boot tread by knocking my feet on a solid service to minimize snow being tracked into buildings. LOOKS: these are hiking/snow boots so I didn’t expect anything but a clunking looking boot, however my daughter said they were “cute”, which is reflects comments from other young women, especially when I wore the boots with slim pants/leggings. OVERALL: this were expensive boots- but worth it to me due to the support needed for my PF and the roomy toe box to accommodate my aging toes (I’m 64). They have been perfect for the Colorado trip and I know I will continue to wear them whennI return home to the southeast.

These Bridgers fit well, and they come in my size - I need a 10 1/2 in athletic shoes and hiking boots. I wear these for my winter boots in Chicagoland. They are warm, and the tread on the sole is excellent. They could do with a bit more cushioning in the toe box area, though (this is something I find consistently with Oboz - they could just use a little more cush!). I love the ankle support that the mid-rise gives my ankles. The insole of these boots has exceptional arch support - I usually have to change out the insoles and use a custom orthotic in every pair of athletic shoes and hiking boots I've ever had, but I have not had to do that with these Bridgers! Yay!

I read a lot about these boots, how warm and dry they keep your feet and how the fit true to size. I am a solid 6.5 in most shoes, but when I tried on the 6.5, they were too tight on my left foot. I was using a thin sock and it just felt too tight for long wear comfort. They are winter boots, no doubt I will wear thick wool socks over the winter and the shoes would be too tight. The sevens were much better. A little big for my right foot, but with thick winter socks, it will be fine. I’ve taken several walks now with the boots and they feel great. Really solid, comfortable. Excellent arch support. I love them and am looking forward to walking sidewalks and trails with my dog over this coming winter.

I am a 9.5 in sneakers and most shoes, Sketchers is what I wear normally. I bought these in a 9.5 and a 10. The 9.5 fit just right but was a bit snug in the toe area. Not super snug but enough to the point where my toes moderately brushed the front, which when walking for longer periods can be an issue. Also with a thick sock the 9.5 is not so great. Also, the 9.5 hit the arch of my foot in an odd way that was starting to make it ache a bit when trying them on. The 10 was great, I have some extra toe room and can wear thick socks without them feeling too tight. Even with regular socks they are not too big though. I recommend going up half a size if you want a bit more room. That being said, the front part of the boots do widen out when you go up in size, but not enough that my feet felt huge in them. While this does run true to size, like I said go up a half size if you want a bit more room. You can get away with the extra width since everyone knows winter boots are a bit larger than regular shoes. The boot is super pretty too and very comfy. I highly recommend. This is my first pair of real winter boots. I got them for a trip I am taking this December and expect I will have them for a long time. They are sturdy and high quality.

I loved the look of the boots and they felt like they fit great. However, the ankle was so stiff that it felt like walking in skates. I returned for something more flexible.

I bought size 8W. I have been searching for what seems like forever to find a winter hiking boot that will fit my wide feet. This is the seventh pair of different brands and styles I have tried in the last couple weeks, and I am just a standard wide size. I was so relieved to find that these fit perfectly! It is so nice to be able to wiggle my toes! :) They are warm, look really cute and don't make my feet look huge. I'm not a big fan of the color Chipmunk (resembles a construction work boot) but it was the only color available in my size. Overall though, I am very happy with them and would recommend for anyone looking to fit wide feet.

I like these but I am returning them as I like another boot I ordered better. The other ones were back ordered and I wasn't sure if they would come by the time I need them for a trip, so I got these for back up. There is really nothing wrong with them.

You definitely need to size up, as other reviews have mentioned. Normally, I ignore suggestions to size up or down, but Zappos was pretty insistent that my normal size wouldn’t fit. I tend to be size 7, but I do wear 7.5 in Nike sneakers, so I went ahead and ordered the 7.5, and they fit well. The size 7 would not have worked. I have not gone hiking in them yet, but they seem very comfortable around the house. I’ll update if they turn out not to be comfortable while hiking.

I loved these boots. I bought them for winter hiking and snowshoeing in Colorado. Great grip on the soles and keep your feet warm and dry. They are light too. I put my own orthodic insole in, but they come with a great one! and I have high arches and " problen feet". Highly recommend. I wear a 7 to 7.5 in shoes and I did size up to an 8 so I would have room for a thick wool sock. I can wiggle my toes in these boots
