Very nice. The buckles allow for a wide variety of width choices. Wearing thick socks widen out the buckles, thin socks tighten up the buckles. This way you can wear thick socks and not stretch out the leather. The leather is thick and shiny, super high quality. They are a tad manly looking but very very comfortable. True to size. I wear a 10. I purchased a 10 and an 11 and the 11 was too big. 10 fits perfect and even better with the buckle adjustment to perfection. Thanks dr. Martens! Work every penny. Not super cushiony and not a ton of arch support.

I love these shoes. Yes, a little stiff in the beginning, but overall not too bad. The buckles add a nice flair to an ordinary shoe.

I was pleased with my new Pandora double monk strap shoes right out of the box. Yes. They were a little stiff at first, but I have learned to expect this with Dr. Martens's polished leather finish. Wearing for a couple of hours with socks softened the shoes to comfortably fit my feet. The Pandoras are the fourth pair of Dr. Martens purchased in the past twelve months. I also own the Agnes monk strap from last year in black and two pairs of Emmeline boots, one in black and the other in black cherry--all from Zappos!
