Perfection, especially after I put memory foam gel pads in the boot. I think it was a little roomy, being a men’s shoe. I’m also glad the opening is so narrow. I love them. I feel so badass wearing them.

The best doc martens I have ever own! They go with all of my outfits and I get lots of compliments. These boots are very well made.

A little uncomfortable on the ankle at first but now no problems. I love these boots. They are not dainty by any means, especially since I normally wear a half size so have to buy them a little big, but they’re great for general-purpose daily wear. Waterproof, comfy, and less trendy looking since the brown ones don’t have the yellow stitching.

I really like the style of the Chelsea Boot because it's nice and tight at the ankle. I like how I can wear skinny jeans and they can go over the top or be rolled, to give the boot two different looks. The fit was true to size. I wish they would have had a removable footbed, however. Typical Dr. Martens, so they're a little on the heavier side but really comfortable.

I have wide feet so some brands are to narrow in their regular sizing. These fit perfect and are extremely comfortable. Look great also.

We purchased these boots for my daughter. She says they are very comfortable and easy to wear. She normally wears a 9 1/2. For these boots we got size 9 women, and they fit great. I think the boots were pretty comfortable from the first time she wore them. She mentioned that she needed to wear longer socks so they didn't rub, but as soon as she changed socks all was good. Love these Doc Martens. The quality is great. I think she'll be able to wear them for years to come.

I have an 11-1/2D foot and wear the UK 11/US 12 in this boot and they fit great. Plenty roomy without being sloppy. Leather seems nice to me, construction is good. The boots look nice. They are easy enough for me to get on, although if you have thicker ankles or higher volume feet, it might feel a bit tight getting into them (I also am assuming that this material will relax a bit with use and time so initial snugness is probably not a bad thing). They were immediately comfortable and are actually lighter than some other pairs of Dr Martens I have had throughout the years.

Wonderful classic docs!

I love these. A classic, stylish and well-made unisex boot. The opening is narrow enough that they streamline perfectly with my jeans or leggings. I find they're pretty much true to size but I can still wear a thick sock if I want to. I've only worn them one day but they're very comfortable and will be even more comfy once I break them in. Highly recommend these and looking forward to wearing them this winter, especially because they're such an easy slip-on boot.

I ordered the 2976 in Tan Carpathian and I love them! I usually wear a US women's 8, but I wear a 7 in these. The leather is a bit stiff at first, but the break-in is worth it. Not a lot of cushion in the footbed, but there is room to add an insert if a more cushy feel is what you're after. Extremely well-made, comfortable, sturdy boots that are stylish, too. I'm looking forward to wearing these for a long time to come.

Such a classic boot! I usually wear a US Women's size 9 and that's what I ordered. The leather and the elastic were quite stiff out of the box, and it was a bit of a challenge to put the boot on. Once on, the boot was very comfortable with lots of toe room, probably because I ordered a size too large. I am returning and going with my second option.

Typically wear a women’s 9 and ordered women’s 8 and they fit perfect.

It feels too small, I think i need a half size bigger but it does not come with 71/2. maybe sooner they may become compy

I am normally a size 7, but these boots were too big. I reordered a 6.5 and they fit much better.

I love these boots. They are comfortable and so cute HOWEVER they are so hard to get on. I have dainty ankles/feet but maneuvering my foot into this boot had me winded. Once on, they’re the best, but you have to get there first.

Fit large, even compared to another pair of docs I have. I have wide size 7.5-8 feet for reference. Resulting feel/look was kind of clown-shoe like, but seems like they would’ve fit fine if I sized down a half or full size. Disregarding the fit, nice shoes. Leather felt sturdy, although the “crazy horse” finish seems to scuff easily— these have scratches and scuffs all over them.

The boot is a bit tight at the top, which makes getting it on and off a bit tough otherwise they are comfortable.

Like the leather and tone of these boots and the sole is really solid. Comfortable to stand in, fairly comfortable to walk in. Note that the elastic at the top of the boot will definitely bunch up after a week or two of use. I've tried three different pairs and they all do it. I have extremely flat feet so ignore my arch support rating.

First of all, I have to say how much I love Zappos! Free next day shipping and easy free returns/exchange policies makes it a no-brainer to continue buying shoes here--it's always a great experience. These docs feel a full size larger than marked, I always wear a women's US size 6, ordered that and they were HUGE. I have worn these boots two days in a row now, and while I wouldn't say they're uncomfortable I also wouldn't call them comfy straight out of the box. The leather is stiff (but beautiful), the ankles are tight (difficult to put on/take off), but these are expectations of breaking in a good leather boot. The brown color Gaucho Crazy Horse is pretty masculine, but I think/hope it will oxidize and wear into a beautiful color as time passes and the leather wears. Overall a good purchase, but I wish there was a more feminine color available in the chelsea boot, like the Cadence Black Greenland (which I also have and love those boots as well).

Good shoe. I normally wear 10.5W, but these are roomy enough to be fine in a normal width.

Aaargh Too big, but I love them. Great color, strangely shaped boot for my feet. Perhaps you can wear them.

How great is the Antique Temperley color of these boots? So great. Here's what I wrote about the black ones: [Oh, Doc Martens and the half-size challenge... These are such handsome boots, but I can't wear a picture. When they fit okay, they are too big, they look borrowed. When they look nice, they are exactly 1/3 of a size too small. Sad, me.] All true, even in the Temperley. Maybe they are too narrow.
