Very light weight, perfect boot for summer. Has removable insole, which I quickly removed. Replaced with a Vionic Oh Active Orthotic insole. Felt more comfortable & gave more support.Feels true to size.Find it an excellent purchase.

I ordered the size that the chart said would fit a women's US size 6. They are way too big...closer to a size 7.

Ordered these for my daughter, she loves them and is very happy with how soft and comfortable they are, as well as excellent quality. Not as heavy as they appear

Purchased these for my daughter. We used the sizing chart and measured her foot which did result in a perfect fit. They are so stylish and great looking. She loves them and I'm sure with the quality they will last for years and the new lighter design is great

Love these boots! They are so light and comfortable! Virtually no break in period. And the foam inside makes them extra comfy. Can walk around all day in these! I put them on in the morning and don’t take them off until evening and my feet feel fine. I’ve been wearing them practically non stop since I got them 3 weeks ago. My other docs gave me blisters on my heels and on the ball of my foot after a long walk. Not so with these. My only complaint is that the leather feels a little flimsy so I’m not sure how they will hold up over time but they feel so good I’d definitely buy them again if they did wear out!

Comfortable straight out of the box. I couldn’t believe how light they are. I manage a grocery store so I needed a boot that was comfortable and could take a beating.

The Dr Martens Newton boot feels great so far. Their new and not broken in as I write this. I’m around a 11.5 and I wear a 12 in Converse All Star shoe, The Newton boot is a tad smaller than the Converse but a US size 12 works for me. Hope this helps someone thinking of buying a pair of Dr Martens Newton boots.

Pretty, nice looking shoes. Not particularly comfortable at the top. They are more elegant version of DM. I do like wearing them a lot.

Having grown up as a skinny emo kid, I have loved and worn the 1460 for years. I grew to love it less when I moved to an office job with wax floors where every step echoed down the hallways like a legion of approaching mice. There's something about the traditional rubber DM sole that simply cannot be silenced on certain floors (I tried everything). This boot has more of a sneaker sole. And it's silent! It's also very light and easy to wear (you don't have to break it in at all). That said, the design just doesn't look as cool as the 1460. I would've been better if they just changed the sole rubber to make less noise. But for now, this is the next best thing.

I normally wear a women’s size 9 in all brands. I ordered a women’s 8 and it fits perfectly. Glad I read the reviews and took the suggestion to size down. Love the boot. Looks great and super comfortable.

I love this boot! I have been searching for the perfect lace up boot for quite some time. This one is cute, stylish and comfortable! I have gotten so many complements on them!!! I am a mom who wants to be stylish and dress fun, but not look like I’m trying too hard! These boots are perfect!!! They do run big though. I usually wear a 9 and I ordered an 8 based on other reviews. The 8 is perfect!!

Fit was perfect. Lightweight and comfortable, with just enough ankle support. Stylish as well, they dont look like “Work” boots. Easily worn with anything from a suit or sport coat to jeans. Extremely happy with my purchase. Soft insoles were a nice touch, but unfortunately I need extra arch support, so had to switch them out.

I wanted an alternate to my regular heavy Doc's for riding my Harley..I love these, great fit, great Doc's style. i would say they are more comfortable than my regular industrial Doc's. My only suggestion/wish is for an inside zipper..I hate having to tie my boots every time I put them on. With that said, I will definitely buy these again.

Bought these boots for a lightweight around town motorcycle boots option. Comfortable, so far holding up well, and have a more low profile look to them than traditional docs.

They're not tight. The leather is very flexible to start with--I'm not sure how well they're going to wear over time. They don't have much (if any) break-in time because of it. They're lightweight, and the sole is very comfortable. They're very much like sneakers, as has been said before. They do creak a bit, but that's leather for you. I'm not sure how long they'll last, being so lightweight, but they are definitely comfy.

I've been a fan of Dr. Martens for years but these are the best ever! Not only are they beautifully made, they are lightweight and need no break in time. I may have to order another pair in red.

I love these shoes. They're very comfortable and the leather is really soft. Zappos as always was amazingly fast. Ordered on a Saturday night and had em on Monday morning.

These are much more comfortable than the classic Doc Marten boots. They were pretty squeaky at first but once I wore them for a few hours the leather softened up and the noise stopped. Great boots!

I have worn Doc Martens since the mid 90's and these might be my favorite pair. The classic 1460's are a hunka hunka shoe and the Temperleys are almost identical but much lighter in weight. Doc's have little arch support and these are no different. I added the Dr. Marten's premium insole and the support is great.

I had a pair of Docs in the 90s that I wore to death. Always wanted another but didn't pull the trigger til now. My feet are 25 yrs older and weight and comfort are a consideration. I read the reviews on these and decided to give it a shot. I now own a pair of the black and the cherry red. I wear them constantly. Light and very comfortable. And they just look right, especially with slim/skinny/tight jeans. Size is what I'd call generously accurate - roomy enough to slip a pair of those skinny Dr. Scholl's white cushions into (which I do with all my shoes).

These are the first Docs I've tried in many years that approach the lighter-than-air bouncy springy soles of the "old" Docs that I remember, albeit in a different shape and size. I'm a true UK10 and these run quite big, at least a half size if not more. However, I tried UK9 and they were just a bit too small, so I returned them and stuck with the UK10. I didn't like the insole that they came with, but it's easy to take out, and now there is plenty of room for warm socks and a nice supportive insole. The red is a handsome color, almost like a lightened cordovan, not a bright candy-apple red. The sole is nearly weightless and the leather is very soft, and there was no break-in time. So far these boots have been very kind to my problem feet. I am hoping to get a lot of wear out of these.

I've never found Docs that worked for me, but saw these and gave them one more shot. Thanks to the reviews, I went for a U.K. 5 rather than my usual U.K. 6/U.S. 8 but had my doubts. Lo and behold, the fit is perfect, although I can't wear very bulky socks. These are wonderfully light and the cushioning and slight elevation in the heel make them very comfortable to walk in. At 63 I finally have my Docs.

I ordered a UK 6, Men's 7, Women's 8 and a UK 7, Men's 8, Women's 9. Generally, I am an 8.5 or a 9. The 9 was huge, like my foot was swimming. Too long and too wide. The 8 worked best for me. These boots are much lighter than the original 1460 and the insole has a nice textured cushion. They are also slimmer looking, not as bulky which I like.
