Very cute, well-made bootie! The 8.5W was OK in length and width, but too loose in the heel.

These boots are very stylish and the leather is soft. I had to order two pair, because the inner sole of the first pair was about a 1/4 inch too short. The second pair was slightly off, but not as much. I bought these because I had the same boot in another color already and the inner sole is not short in them. I feel like Rockport/Cobb Hill is trying to cut corners since the quality is not quite the same.

Very comfortable right out of the box. Nice thin fleece-like lining that I’m sure will add warmth. It’s not a true grey though; I’d call it a taupe.

I have hard to fit narrow flat feet, 9.5 AA. This boot fit fine and looked very nice. The only problem was the color. As others have said, this "gray" is actually more a brown taupe and did not go well with the gray slacks I have. It is a great boot, but the colors are not the best. I have it also in black which also fits very well and is wearing well through its second winter. Wish it came in more basic colors... May be next year ???

Whereas other reviewers said it was true to size, I feel it runs a little long. But not enough for me to feel like I will order one size up. And yes, SUPER comfy, and also very cute... just as I anticipated from the picture.

Love these boots! I have such a large foot it is hard to find a cute shoe or boot in my size. These fit the bill. They are also very comfortable which as a diabetic with a lot of foot pain, is my number 1 criteria for a shoe before cute, so I am so glad that one was met. They are dressy enough for business or church but can also be casual, too. I am going to use Rockport again.

Love the burgandy red abilene boots. Very comfy. I originally ordered 8.5 narrow which is what i normally wear. This boot is cut more narrow on toe area. So return ed for 9 and they fit great.

as other people have noted, Cobb Hill sizing has changed, narrower than in the past. Less cushioning also. If you have bunions, do your self a favor and have the surgery, it's life changing

love the look of the shoes, I own about 9 pairs of Cobb Hill shoes. 10W too big, 9.5 waaay too small, 10 B a little snug. Worn once, it should stretch out.

Had to return. I wear 11 wide. These were still too narrow. Had to go back.

Compared with other shoes by Cobb Hill, this shoe in 6.5 W fit the SAME width in the toe box as a 6.5 medium but wider in the heel. It was slightly longer (no problem) than a medium 6.5 medium. I don't understand why the same manufacturer doesn't have consistency in shoe sizes.

I really love the design and the beautiful color , bordeaux. I typically have small and narrow feet but these booties felt too short in length and a bit narrow. So disappointed that I had to return the item.

Loved the leather on these boots, the rubber sole and style but they were just too narrow so I am sending them back, unfortunately. I normally wear a size 11 wide. I do have trouble in finding 11 wides that are truly wide enough. I find that about half of the Rockport Cobb Hills are wide enough and half are not. Why they choose to make them different sizes is a complete mystery to me. I have some that are wide enough in the toes and others that aren’t. It’s infuriating. If they are a more pointy toe style, which is the style right now for fashionable shoes, then they need to be made wide for all us wide feet people. I read this over and over and over in reviews. We need true wide sizes in all shoes, not just the round-toed orthotic looking ones that your grandmother would wear. Frustrated. These are going back.

These shoes were a good fit for my wide bunion shoes. Unfortunately the heel height was too high and caused my bunion to hurt. I had to return them.

I have wide feet so always have a really hard time finding the right shoes, esp. in local stores. Years ago I bought a pair of Cobb Hill that is still going strong (after a soles-n-heels replacement two years ago) so I thought I would give this brand another try. I wear anywhere between 8 and 9 (due to the wide feet) but 8.5W fits quite well in the toe box. One problem I noticed immediately, is that the sections right above the heels of the shoes (the parts that wrap around the heels of your feet) are VERY stiff. In fact, stiff and leaning inward and therefore rubbing on the heels of my feet. I don't remember ever feeling that way when I bought my previous pair. I went to Shoe Mill a few days ago and tried on another style of Cobb Hill and had exactly the same problem. I was told that Cobb Hill was acquired by Rockport and the design had changed. Bummer. I will keep this pair and hope that the heel sections will eventually soften. I definitely prefer the previous design much more. If you have "difficult to buy shoes for" feet like mine, when you find a perfect pair, remember to buy another pair.

I have narrow flat feet and this boot felt good to wear. I have it in black and decided to order another pair in gray. The boot fits well, even on my narrow foot. But, the color was definitely not gray. I would call it taupe and that color doesn't work with gray slacks and skirts. So, regretfully, I am returning this boot. It would be nice to see it available in other colors.

Color was not gray and not a true 71/2 with was good. Did love the style. Narrow feet are difficult to fit planning to keep trying.

Super, super comfortable - absolutely. Just enough too frumpy for me - I needed to return. These just didn't look quite right on size 10 foot.

For these shoes, several people said the toe box was narrow and the heel was loose: great for me but not in these. My half orthotic keeps the heel in place but then toe box gets too cramped bc the angle of the shoe on top...the show width is fine but it dips and cuts up right next to small toe. And no arch support. They are gorgeous and worth seeing if they bother you when you walk, I ordered a 9 normal and I normally wear a 9 shoe bc my feet are almost a 9. I also got the Romika and wow, those are much better and I might buy them in 2 colors! No arch support.

I really liked the styling of this boot but the bordeaux color was really flat, no depth - I was hoping for a richer, deeper color. Sending back, but might try another color.

I ordered this boot in a 9.5 narrow in both the Blue/Teal and the Black. The black boot fits fine, but the blue/teal does not. The cut, length and comfort of the blue/ teal is poor! It is a shame as the blue/ teal colored boot is gorgeous! I am keeping the black, have worn it and received compliments about it. I have worn this boot to work as a teacher with slacks. It looks great and is a comfortable heel height.

These are so stylish and cute. I really wanted to keep them, but as some other reviewers have mentioned, the heel is not wide enough to feel stable. I thought I might be able to live with it, but the ankle opening is also wide enough that rolling your ankle seems inevitable. Sending them back sadly.

I ordered 4 pairs of booties to try to find a pair to wear with a dress. I was the most excited about these when I ordered them because I like Rockport and I also thought the style was pretty from the picture. However, they were my least favorite. The color was too much on the taupe side instead of gray. They didn't look good with a dress and I realized that I preferred a suede rather than a shiny leather. I also thought that they looked like something my mother would wear. Other than that, they were comfortable and had a good arch support. The size of the heal didn't bother me at all.

The shoe fit nicely.I do have another pair of Cobb Hill that I bought 2 years ago and love them. I was very disappointed in these because the color was described as gray and it is more a taupe color, not close to being gray. I had to return them because of the clor.

These are lovely but for a narrow width, the heels were too wide to fit properly.
