Filson holds up to its standards - as usual! My favorite backpack in the house so far! Leather straps needs breaking in but once they are - breeze to buckle/unbuckle. Looks sharp - good enough for work and travel.

Love the overall look and function of the Ranger Backpack. It’s cavernous and holds A LOT. I use it for work, primarily, and the laptop sleeve holds my 15”, beefy laptop (with oversized battery). Overall, it’s a good choice. I’ve rated it 4 stars, instead of 5, as the adjustment buckles for the shoulder straps will slip if the bag is heavily loaded. If you are carrying a couple pounds (laptop, jacket, lunch, etc) you’re good. If you need to carry 10+ lbs (I tossed in a 12-lb bag of deicer), they’ll slip.

Great product. I definitely recomend this pack. Unfortunately the updated version is less well made with less quality materials.

A high quality bag made in the USA. Got it on sale at a great price. What’s not to love)
