I've tried most, if not all the high end, expensive work boots. I always come back to Wolverine. To me, these boots are hands down, THE BEST work boot for me. They look good, they are VERY durable, and there is not much, if any break in period. I just returned a much expensive pair of thorogood boots, and a 12 hour shift on concrete walking 10 miles a day crippled my feet. Not these boots, and I've been buying Wolverine for over 15 years or so. Best, most comfortable work boot on the market. Plus I love the durable, hard plastic toe cover. If your getting a new pair of work boots, you just can't do wrong by starting here.

I been wearing wolverine for 2yrs now. I usually get the anti fatigue insoles if there not EPX boots. 1st time i got this its been a sweet week and actually enjoy the insoles these came with. Excellent if your walking around 8-10hrs working.

Love these boots. Comfort: They are more comfortable than my athletic shoes. The insoles that come with them are very comfortable, but due to an accident, and I'm flat-footed, I have to buy aftermarket insoles that don't hurt my injured foot. Yes, they are heavier than the hybrid work/athletic style of safety toe boot (I own a pair), but again, I prefer to wear these, due to my feet not hurting the end of the day. Sweaty feet: I live in East Texas y'all. 'Nuff said. But I noticed they dry out really well. Usually ready to go by the morning. Durability: I'm hard on my boots. I walk a lot, and my boots get exposed to a wide variety of weather, water / chemicals / construction materials, and external wear. I've never had an issue of any of the mentioned penetrate the interior of these boots, or have experienced any holes from wear, or the leather cracking. I way prefer the comp toe over the steel toe, and like that this model has the thicker build-up of material on the toe. I over-pronate, so I wear the outside of the heel out in about a year. I've experienced this in all the different models, and brands of boots I've owned in the 30+ years I've worn work boots. I still wear my old set of these around the house for when I paint, and just as comfortable. Water resisting: On normal water exposure (rain, washing truck, etc), these boots are great. My feet stay dry. I had my old pair submerged while unclogging a storm drain, and after drying the insides with a heat gun when I got home, wore them the next day. Slip-resisting: We get a lot of rain here in East Texas, and my work environment consisting of a wide variety of terrains, slopes, climbing ladders, stairs; I can't remember these boots ever slipping. Overall: I bought a few different pairs of boots after my first pair of these: Ariat, Danner, Doc Marten's, and a lightweight model of Wolverines. All but the Wolverines sit in my closet. I wear the lightweight Wolverines usually once a week when I know I'll be in meetings most of the day, but still prefer to wear these. Like others have said, these take little, to no time, to break in. While they are pricier than others, you get what you pay for, and what is your comfort worth? Hope this helps.

These are decent boots but nothing special. They are heavy, non cushioned, and the way the seams on the forefoot are placed they catch and hold sparks ( I'm a welder) and dirt. Not desirable for my line of work. Also, they are like walking in your bare feet, no support or comfort.

This is a great pair of boots that have lasted me over 4 years in harsh conditions. No complaints about comfort, and they stood up to things like falling car parts, glancing chainsaw hits, and many other things. All the flex from kneeling down finally got to the right boot, though, and it's torn at the point it always bends with all the tread also starting to fall off. I'll probably buy another pair or at least something else from Wolverine, I've never had a pair of boots that stayed together this well with all the abuse I subject them to while also remaining pretty comfortable.

I work in the Airline industry For 40 years. I reach my goal in steps of 12,000 sometimes before lunch. These boots were recommended by a co worker as being very comfortable. I agree, lite weight, very good fit. I am very satisfied with them.

A bit pricey but worth it. I have bought other "higher end" boots for construction and these make me happy and my feet happy. I have limited options with extra wide feet and these actaully fit. I find myself putting these on when I am not working as they are very comfortable, look nice (not too nice) and are just a good all around boot...

Overall appears to be well made. The factory padding is very hard, added an extra pad or two. Overall interior height was ample enough to accommodate without foot rubbing the top walls. Always been please with wolverine line of boots, quality is good, durability excellent, usually get 2 to 3 years of service, depending on task.

For work on walks on almost inaccessible paths with mud, snow and heavy work, it works 100%, but if you are going to spend the whole day moving or walking like in a warehouse job, it is not recommended, it is something heavy to carry all day.

Amazing pair of boots. These are by far the best boots I've owned so far. Very comfortable with the right amount of weight to them. I owned the Overpass Mid Composite before these and I liked this pair better. Highly recommend & very durable. q

I bought these a few weeks before starting at Amazon. I thought I would need to break them in-- but I didn't need to. They are very comfortable and despite being over 1 pound each, they feel much lighter. Great looking, great fit, good arch support so I recommend these boots.

The size and fit were true to size. They're lighter weight than what I anticipated. Look good and are comfortable day 1, didn't have to break them in.

Comfortable , did not have to break in. I am very satisfied with these boots. They look good, too. I am also very happy with Zappos, so happy that I will be using them to purchase all my footwear in the future.

These boots feel very comfortable to wear-I haven’t ordered Wolverines in years, and I was expecting them to be a bit tight, in other words, I thought I’d have to break them in. This was not the case. They fit well right out of the box, and I had absolutely NO PROBLEMS wearing them for hours at a time. Not only are they comfortable, they look good too. I prefer boots without multiple colors or flashy designs. I am very satisfied with these boots, and will be ordering them again in the future.

They’re like wearing big pillows. I’m unsure why anyone complains about there boots. Most likely the same people who complain about it being too sunny outside, or having too much ice in their free drink or whatever. I’d recommend these boots to anybody. I’m unsure how they’ll hold up but first impression is quite good overall.

10/10! They’re a bit costly but well worth the money. I usually only wear Jallatte Jalroche or Timberland Pro but these are much more comfortable.

It's slightly roomy in the toe area, but at least it's good for thicker socks. Tighten laces for a better fit. My favorite boots now. They aren't super heavy and have a thick sole. Insoles are also very comfortable. I have flat fleet and they didn't hurt me as much as I thought they would, especially new. These are great work boots for standing on concrete long hours. Comp toe is great. They're also really stylish. Ankle support is cushiony and boot is easy to take off because of the large room it has.
